The "clear UV finish" is extremely poorly applied. I expected a smooth surface that wouldn't snag when running my hands or a fabric over it. The bottom is raw and unfinished. The top is rough and uneven. Even before I could refinish the countertop, I noticed a crack running horizontally down the middle on the bottom. Putting a small amount of pressure on the sides will make this crack open, proving that is not just superficial. Horrible!

I installed these countertops using an epoxy finish. They are absolutely gorgeous. Check pricing before purchase as 10' is actually cheaper than 8'.

Bought this for a gift. No idea how much they like or hate this. Please cease requests for information.

Absolutely beautiful. I would like to do my small kitchen counter with it.

Added legs and this was the perfect size for our narrow kitchen. There were a few glue spots that wouldn’t stain but we used a stain stick that help

Pick up at local store straightforward. Very well packaged- didn't realize how well until opened. No irregularities or issues, fit straight and square. Simple to attach. If you don't have adequate support, fashion some for corners of the cabinet. Oil is the easiest to apply and maintain for a finish. It's a different look, I like it. I actually covered it in glass to maintain "clean" easy.

Beautiful wood for our countertop. Was not cut exactly square, so we needed to make adjustments. Packaged well in the box to avoid any chips, scratches or dents.

The countertop was a beautiful color unfinished; easy to sand and seal.

As a woodworker, I can say Hevea may be a good wood for countertops, but if you plan to finish this wood, it does not take finish well. I have previously worked with oak butcherblock and found it to be harder and much easier to work with.
