The table is a good height for tools and fairly easily to assemble. My main complaint about the product is the light gauge of the steel which it is made of. Many years ago I bought an HTC base to support my Delta Contractor's Table Saw and it was very sturdy and could support the weight of a vehicle. After assembling, I put my drill press onto it and became concerned over how wobbly the table was. Granted, this was a very heavy drill press (a Delta 12" drill press), but I expected the table to be more stable since it stated it is built to hold 500 pounds. The problem is that there is a lot of slop on the punched holes, allowing the legs to shift as side loads are put on the bench. To correct the wobbliness, I added two diagonal braces between the middle level and the top level (one on each side) and that added a great deal of stability to the table. The spread of the legs are wide enough that the stand is not 'tippy', considering how top-heavy the configuration is.

It is ok but nothing more
It is easy enough to assemble but the top boards are affixed with screws and you need washers to mount the screws through the top brace's slots; there are pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the top two pieces. . Otherwise the screw heads pass through the top brace's slots. Easy enough to fix but you have two particle boards; better you should use some cut-to-size pressure-treated wood so you have a nice screw bite from under the top brace into the wood, In fact, you can make your boards wider. The bottom shelf is just for show. You cannot put even a 12-back of oil and it will buckle due to no middle support. Better to use 5/4 x 4 boards or bigger to size and you will get some rigidity and some shelving back on the lower shelf. It was easy enough to assemble; two people will make a difference. The steel legs are painted. One has substantial rust beads simply painted over but for the price, I just ground that off and hit it with some black paint. Problem solved. The frame is good. The wood for the top and bottom, not so much. You can put the top on flush, or open it up and expand it but whatever you choose, your screws set your particle board and no, you won't be changing the particle board positions. The frame is good enough; the particle board is "meh". I would say on the fence for recommending it. No leg rollers but I added some on my own to make the table moveable/more useful. For me it was the size I wanted, just not quite the quality due to the wood board. It is ridiculous to think screws from underneath can bite into the particle board. I mean it is just particle board. Get it and see what I mean; you will switch over to pressure treated wood on the top and bottom right quick

I have not set it up yet, I’m from Canada and will set up when I get home but I have not fear of it not reaching my expectations because I haven’t had any issues with any Home Depot purchases

    Not heavy duty
The legs are very wobbly for a table that's supposed to hold 500lbs. Maybe it will hold 200lbs but even then, not in a safe manner for any heavy machinery that is in operation, ie; a drill press, 12" sanding disc, planer, etc. The legs seem to be made from formed 20 gauge sheet metal. Disappointing product. Did not come with the specified hardware either. Will disassemble & return.

      Tool table
Very nice table but the top could have been larger for my radial arm saw. I replaced the top with my own platform. The table is solid.

Pretty decent but one major flaw
I bought this bench to use as a drill-press stand and for that use it works just fine. I did swap the top board for a thicker and oversized board so I have so extra space to set stuff down. I also modified the bottom so the stand is now on casters so I can move it about my workshop. The one major flaw is they supply screws to faster (from below) the bottom shelf to the frame. But these screws are about 1/8" to 3/16" TOO LONG and the sharp points come thru from below and stick up on the shelf. So you either have to grind off the screws or do what I did which was to countersink some flat-top bolts from the top side. So they really need to look at this issue.

      Not bad, but needs improvement
The stand went together pretty easily right up until I was screwing the middle shelf into place. The supplied screws (wood screws) are too long and when seated go right thru the shelf board and protrude about 1/8 inch onto the shelf surface. They go in from the bottom. Well who wants 8 sharp points sticking up on a shelf, so I ended up going back to Home Depot and buying 8 machine screws/nuts/washers and have bolted it down. Yes the screw heads are above the shelf, but it's better than a sharp point.

        Good inexpensive table
Nice workstation overall. There was missing hardware (BOM didn't match the assembly instructions - quantity of washers was off) but i needed to get bolts to attach my drill press anyhow.

The HTC Tool Table works great for my large bench vise. The table does not come with wheels, but the leg feet have holes that are suitable for adding wheels, which I have done.

Open box, missing all necessary hardware
I received the box and it was clearly opened and re-packed. There were 0 pieces of hardware or tools inside the box meaning I was unable to assemble the tool table. I had to hunt down my own hardware (multiple uncommon and metric types) over several days and spending hours of time in order to complete the assembly.

This table was very easy to assemble right out of a not so great box. But works great holding my drill press on top. I put it on a 3/4 inch plywood base with HD lockable casters that have a bolt top. The bolts right into the plastic feet bases. The whole thing took less than an hour. Great product.

As with all Home Depot orders this arrived quickly. The good news stops there. Item was poorly packaged and upon opening found the metal structure to be almost paper-thin.This is a flimsy looking product similar to what I have seen at a national "-throw-away-tool store" for half the price. Once together it seems fairly sturdy but I am reluctant to put heavier power tools on it. I would not recommend this to a friend. Also, the rubber "feet" are very difficult to install and although they have a mounting hole for casters, I would not trust them to support a top-heavy power tool.

          Good tool table
This is a good sturdy table, not rock solid but sturdy enough that I was able to mount my 12" compound miter saw to it. The rubber feet are good only if you are going to keep it stationary. There are 3/8" Dia. holes in the rubber feet for casters, but they collapse and come off the legs when you try to move the table. Yes I tried using 3" Shepard swivel casters to no avail. I'm going to weld plates to the bottom of the legs to accept the casters.
