Great clamp connector, I use these for most of my steel box applications.

It did what it was designed to do.

These connectors are just fine for Romex cable (and I guess BX, but I'm not really sure), but they are not for use with MC cable. I know any electrician would tell me "well duh", but I just thought I'd point this out for anyone who doesn't know. I'm trying to fix one connector to pass an inspection, and when I searched MC Connector on the Home Depot website this is the very first hit because it has "FMC" in the title. But it is in fact NOT approved for MC cable, as my town's inspector was all too happy to let me know. If you've read this far, and hoping now I'll tell you which IS the right connector, well then you're in luck. It's the FMC Snap In Connector with the red plastic insert to protect the wire. Model 26571 and SKU 307530. There are probably other ones that work too, but this is the one I used and passed my inspection with.

The throat of this connector has a razor-sharp edge. If one tries to use an anti-short bushing over the fitting itself (instead of inserting it into the end of the flex), it's difficult to thread the conduit onto it. Save yourself huge headaches and go with a connector that has a smooth throat, like most saddle connectors.
