Everything is good about this string light, except it has incandescent light bulbs. Now where it says what's the wattage, so I had to unscrew one to check what it says on the base - 7W only. The lighting is poor because the total for 12 gives 84W of incandescent light. Of course, I can replace them, but then its price tag would go up. Other than that, it's a nice 12 bulb string of dim lights. You can connect up to 5 strings.

This string of Hampton Bay outdoor tree lights emits the beautiful warm color that is associated with incandescent bulbs. Fully stretched, it reaches a full twelve-foot length, but practically – with the typical swing loop – it is a few feet less than that. Bulbs are easily unscrewed but so far none has burned out yet. It is a great addition to the plant branches and leaves in our yard.

Bought multiple strings for back yard. Had to replace some lights right away.

People are complaining about these lights, I think for the measly price of $16.97, they’re terrific!

These outdoor string lights add a stylish touch to my back patio. The soft white light makes it feel cozy and warm, great for enjoying a glass of wine or dinner outside. The lights themself don't get too hot to the touch, and at a length of twelve feet per each strand, I really only need a couple of them to cover the length of my entire patio, so for anything looking for an inexpensive way to spruce up your outdoor living space, I recommend these.

Ordered the café string lights to light up the front of my outdoor pavilion. The lights came well packaged and undamaged in shipment. The kit comes with the 12 incandescent G50 bulbs (with one spare) and 12.5 feet of the string with the sockets attached every foot. The sockets have clips that can be used to fasten the individual lights to an extrusion. I easily wrapped the string around the top front support beam of my pavilion which made for a nice installation. The lights are bright, attractive, and weather proof for wet locations with fuse protection. The bulbs seem to be durable which will be good in windy weather. Note the string only has a foot of lead wire on the plug end so you will have to use an extension cord to plug it in. You can also string together up to four more strings which I did with other strings I already had. Nice string for light duty outdoor residential use.

I am more than pleased with the Hampton Bay string lights. They are brighter than I expected, so I plan to go back and spread them out along the fencing. The string will stretch to twelve feet and more than enough to reach the full length of the fence behind my palm. The set came with an extra bulb and the base of the bulbs looks the same as the one on my chandelier bulbs, so you should not have a problem finding replacements when needed. Party on a string.

Very nice and bright to my front yard, great for outdoors. Would buy more.

Love the delicate, festive feel these strands of lights provide. Only concern is that the bulbs seem so fragile. Much caution was taken removing them from the package and hanging them above.

These lights are perfect for my patio. It was hard to find this length with a brown wire & finally found them here & they’re perfect! Nowhere does it say if they’re glass or plastic so I took a chance & they were plastic which is awesome.

Love the lights but some were broke. And a few are much brighter than the others.

Ordered the light string with the brown cord and opened the box and container showed a brown cord on the cover. I opened the container and light string had the white cord. Did not match existing my existing light sets. Poor packaging

looks great on my back porch but bulbs break easily

The lights short circuited after they were installed. I am so upset.

Unpacked these and tested them out before hanging them up. A bulb was burnt out to start. When I unscrewed it to replace it, it got really bright and blew out! You get 1 extra bulb.Screwed that in and the entire strand was dead. Was going to hang them around our hot tub fence but if they can't even survive the unboxing, what would happen to them with a little breeze!! I will be returning them.

the lights were easy to install.

package is a nightmare. You have to rip the cardboard surrounding each light just to get the lights out of the package which does not make sense if you have to return it. one of the lights exploded on my partner's foot while we were hanging them and then we had sparks fly when we were hanging. had to use replace bulbs before they were even up and being used. only comes with 1 replacement bulb. not worth what we paid for them and they are a safety hazard.

We have to keep buying the strings of lights to replace the bulbs as they burn out. It certainly would be appreciated if Home Depot would carry a set of replacement bulbs for these lights.

The lights get extremely hot to the point of melting the plastic socket for the light. Could cause a fire.
