Purchased 3 pairs of these lights and after 2 summers, and after replacing batteries three out of six lights are defective. They do not charge batteries or turn on at dusk like they once did. I don't recommend this brand for purchase in the future.

This is my second time buying these. Every single time, I go out of my way to get them; they don't sell it at my local store. I mount them on my wooden fence along the side of my house where it's dark and my security lights don't reach. They look great and unique. It provides just enough ambient lighting. I put about 4 along a 30 feet walkway. I've had no problem with the solar charging; although I do do a manual recharge of the batteries every spring.

I don't know if it was the sunlight on the day of the installation, but I was pleasantly surprised by the luminosity of the lamp; however, the following days were the opposite, the light is not strong; I guess I'll wait for the summer, when the sun is brutally strong

Solid lights for the price. Just with these lights its best to take them in during the winter and clean off the solar panel weekly to prolong the life of the product

This was a great buy. It fits perfectly at my front door with no need for wiring.

Easy installation sufficient ambiance illumination and they look fantastic.

I purchased these solar lights for our shed, and they are perfect! Easy to install, and let off just the right amount of light. I highly recommend them!

Easy to install, however concerned about high winds lifting the unit and knocking it off from the screws. Light is decently bright for accent lighting only. Not for actually increasing night time visibility. Great decor for curb appeal.

I was looking for solar lights that would enhance my back yard, and we scored with the Hampton Bay Outdoor wall Lantern with Glass. Easy to put up, great to look at and makes the yard beautiful at dusk and evening Only downfall, the inventory was limited, so I ordered two boxes online

Purchased three sets of these and i am very happy with the brightness. They glow until 6 am in the morning . i would recommend this product to a friend.

These work great and look great too.

I love it, I use as lanai/pool cage light, look really expensive, the only down side if is not enough sun dont charge, besides that I love it.

I took a chance to get this pair for our new "stay at home" backyard garden - project. I thought its first impression is worth sharing since I couldn't find a customer picture before buying. I hope they keep shining bright like this every night.

Modern looking wall lantern with very pretty crackled glass. Can also be installed on decks and along fences. Solar powered, with a maximum 8 hour operating time. 10 Lumen light output provides soft, non-glaring illumination. Installation is easy, take a piece of paper, place on back of unit, punch two small holes where the screws would go, now take that piece of paper and use it as your template! You have to install the screws first, and then hang the lantern onto screws. Screws cannot be accessed from the front, so the template is the way to go for easy installation. Love this lantern, love that it comes in a 2 pack, and will definitely be purchasing a couple more packs!

I got these to add some light outside of my garage without having to add electricity. I have not been able to attach these to the siding as of yet, but it comes with the screws you need. We have too much snow to get to the garage. I put it outside on my porch. The battery is easy to access, it comes right off the top. It received a full charge in the sun for a few hours and in the shade. It did not light up until it was completely dark. It did not have a wide range of light but it offers some. These might be nice lighting around a pool on the fence.

Works as it should. I like that it seems to have a real glass and not plastic Lens. It’s super easy to change the battery as you just grab the top and wiggle, it slides right out. What I didn’t like was mounting. The two screws that hold the light are behind the light. So a template with the instructions would have been very helpful. Made in China, disappointing.

Highly recommend these solar lantern lights. Simply just impressive. The modern style together with the amount of light it emits is amazing. The crackle glass gives it a more dramatic effect. Right now in the dead of winter they do charge but I can imagine how bright they’ll look in middle of sunny summer...probably blinding! Glad it came in a package of 2. Also considering purchasing more- just have to be aware of the location and the sunlight they may or may not get because of placement. Absolutely a perfect purchase.

Very stylish solar wall lantern, perfect for walkways along a fence. I got these to light our side yard dog run at night; they add a touch of class to the area and are perfect for my needs. They put out a diffuse white light; not bright enough to keep you awake but enough to allow you to see as you walk the area. The glass has a ‘cracked’ look that is very stylish. Installation was a little tricky: you have to put the screws in first and then hang the lantern (it uses a keyhole system) and there is no way to access the screws from the front of the lantern with a screwdriver. I get about 4-5 hours of light out of it per night, not bad for this time of year (January) when we are not getting as much sunlight as the rest of the year. Changing batteries is also easy; the solar light unit just pops off and allows you to put a new rechargeable NiMH battery in a matter of minutes.

I am really loving these new Solar Outdoor Lanterns.  I was very pleased to know that it was a two-pack, since I thought it was only one. The textured glass gives off a very bright and beautiful glow. So easy to use, just pill the top off, and pull the battery tab out, and mount wherever there's the greatest amount of sunlight. By the next day mine was working perfect, and the 2nd day they were even brighter. The solar panel is right on top and can be easily cleaned with just a soft microfiber cloth.  I highly recommend these LED outdoor solar lanterns, and I am also planning to purchase additional units. There's no light bulb needed in these, it's all built into the Solar/LED portion and provides 10 Lumens of light output and is capable of providing up to 8 hours of light. Hampton Bay provides quality products at all times. 

The Hampton Bay 2-Light Black Solar LED Outdoor Wall Lanterns with Textured Glass are very attractive light fixtures. Installation was very simple; it only took two screws to install each lantern. I installed one lantern by our carport stairs and another lantern by our front door entry stairs. The lanterns provide enough light to both set of stairs for safety purposes. The lanterns definitely met my expectations.

Excitement set in when I received my Hampton Bay Black Solar LED Outdoor wall lights with glass. They are perfect for what I was looking for. Hampton Bay is a name synonymous with "Quality" and I know I can depend on the name and item. These are LED and offer a beautiful light. Perfect for year round use with 8 hours of operating time and 10 Lumens for a great light output. So easy to install and the battery is very easily accessible. This 2 pack in the black finish is going to add a great look to my outdoor. Battery is included. That's great. Love them.

This review is written before I actually installed these lights. Why? Because they turned out to be prettier than I thought they would be and the location I originally envisioned for them may not be worthy now. The point is that these lights are really nice looking. They have real textured (crackle) glass bodies and large solar collectors that aren't overly obvious. They're nice enough that I'd even mount them inside my house if not for the fact that they need sunlight to recharge. The attached photo shows that they are plenty bright for solar accent lights.

These are beautiful sleek and modern looking lights. The glass is a crackel look. Beautiful ! They install easily and look great. Hampton Bay always makes quality products . Since these are solar there is no wiring to worry about. These lights are bright enough for a walkway or smaller patio. They have a contemporary look but would look great in ant setting.

Cheap solar panel, discolored in less than a year and will not charge light. Purchased alot for interior of fence line, looked great for 6 to 9 months .

It doesn’t stay lit throughout the night till dawn; however, It is very appealing in appearance though. I’ve had it for a month now and may move it to a more sunny location which will allow for more charge.

Worked less than a year. "Rechargeable" batteries don't actually work, and when putting in new batteries the lights still do not work. I have these installed on my exterior gate and now have to find a complete replacement since these are not unavailable for re-purchase.

Nice lights. Would recommend
