Self-Contained 160° Black Motion Activated Outdoor Integrated LED Solar Security Flood Light with Dusk-to-Dawn

I'm giving this item a 5 star review only because of the sellers willingness to stand behind their product. I purchased this item in May of '23, by the end of July the light stopped working. I just recently emailed the seller and explained the situation and although the 90 day warranty had passed, they still honored their warranty and are sending me a replacement. This is service you don't find so easily anymore.

Lighting up the woodpile for fetching firewood when the house is cold. This light looks like an expensive light of high quality, made of metal, but it is an adequate light made of plastic and affordable. It has a bracket that fastens to the wall it slides into. If you screw this bracket to the wall there is one screwhead that sticks out preventing you from sliding the light into it. Perhaps it serves the purpose of unauthorized personnel sliding the light out of the bracket. Anyway, you mount the bracket with the two other screws, slide the light in, then put the last screw in. This is one of those lights that's just on and then when the proximity sensor is actuated the light goes to a brightness that is useful. It works very well to light up the woodstack I use to fuel my fireplace. You can choose two different levels of brightness but there isn't a lot of difference between them. I must say that in the month or so I've used this light it lights up well after some decidedly unsunny days.

Easy to install - let it sit in the sun for a day to charge up, next attach the angled bar to the lamp with one bolt and nut. then attach the base clip to the wall with 3 screws and then slide the light into place. You are done. When it gets dark the light is on low intensity - you can see outside from in the house - but not too bright When you go outside and come closer to the light - the intensity goes up to full and lights up the area very well.. and no cost for electric! solar powered. This light-weight unit is particularly designed for simple operation in outdoor applications. a true dusk to dawn moonlight light when motion is not sensed and light up to full brightness automatically when motion is sensed. the equivalent of up to a 50-Watt standard bulb.

I have been looking for a great light for the front of the chicken coop I am building. This unit totally fit the bill. Its sleek, great looking and can be installed on a poll or a wall. It charged up in about a day initially and has held its charge nicely while I continue to building. I love that when you walk up to it it picks up motion 15 feet before you arrive at the light. Its easy to turn on and off as needed and is very bright and will light up those dark areas you need lit! I am super happy with this unit and am considering getting several more. This would work at your garage, front door or side of the house. Anywhere you need to light up for security or just to get where you are going!

eLEDing solar light I knew I had to give this light a try. I am pro solar and wind power. Plus I was in desperate need of a light outside my workshop. Living on a farm, there is very little if any ambient light and maneuvering in the dark with cats is a bit dangerous, :o The light came in a small flat box that did not seem to weigh anything. Inside are the pieces; mounting bracket, arm, light head, screws, anchors, a white zip tie and instruction sheet. After looking the product over, I decided this will be a breeze to put on the facia of the work shop. I left the instruction sheet and went to work. First off, the mounting bracket needs to be attached side way, the arm slides in from the side, not the top. Unscrew and reattach the bracket. Grrrr. So I attach the arm to the head and slide it into position, so I thought. You must leave out the screw that is in front of the bracket until AFTER you slide the arm in place. Remove offending screw, slide in bracket, replace screw. Hit the on button. Funny, the ON button is on top? I step back to admire my work. I come back an hour later to admire my work again. DOH! Grab ladder, remove offending screw, remove arm from bracket, flip the bracket and head over and repeat installation. Walk away in a huff. I allowed the device to fully charge two days. I did not see any light so I grabbed ladder and checked the button. Light comes on, note to self. Don’t look at light head when doing this. It is quite bright and emits daylight light, no yellow here! I returned after the bright light had dimmed to standby & I could see again. I started walking toward the light but it did not activate until I was nearly underneath it. Fine, I read the instructions! Are you happy now? Light head needs to be tilted with the front edge upward about 5°. Unless the light is facing away from direction you are coming from, than leave it level. The anchors are suppose to be used if mounting into brick/mortar, concrete wall. Toss out the anchors it comes with. Get real anchors and/or screws made for this purpose. The white zip tie is for mounting to a thin rail. Toss the white zip tie. White zip ties are NOT UV resistant and will crumble and break quickly. Replace with black and get the length you need. All in all, This is great light to have for areas you need the light after dark. The standby mode is enough to see the immediate area under the light. If you read the instructions FIRST, it’s easy to install. Highly recommended.

Easy assembly, connect light body and arm, install mounting bracket securely, slide on light body from side, activate the light by pushing down and holding for a few seconds until light comes on. The light started illuminating while I was assembling. Charges during daylight hours, moonlight lighting at night for safety, converts to maximum brightness as soon as motion is detected. Light is much more effective than my old floodlight.

This solar motion-sensing light is handy for an entrance to one’s house, where it lights up when motion is sensed, and it requires no wiring or batteries. It’s easy to install with the three provided screws to a wood trim board, or with the provided anchors to a brick or mortar siding, or with the provided plastic tie to a drainspout or pole. First you mount with the three screws a 2” plastic plate. Then you connect the solar light to its plastic mounting arm with the supplied bolt and nut. Then you slide the mounting arm into the mounting plate, adjust the angle of the light, and you’re done. At night the light glows like a night light until it senses motion whereupon it provides approximately the light of a 40-watt incandescent bulb, more than enough to see steps and insert one’s key into the door lock. It’s 9” deep 7½” wide and 3” high. The light should of course be mounted were it gets sun, and four hours a day is good. This is a handy solar motion-sensing light.

I prefer solar lighting because it's easier and better for the environment. The solar panel is large, which allows it to absorb a lot of sun. It comes on from dusk to dawn with a soft moonlit light. When the motion sensor picks up movement it brightens to full light, which stays on until no movement is detected. It is easy to install and has an on off switch, but no other settings.
