On one cabinet the back panel was misaligned during assembly and resulted in a chunk of the MDF chipping off, also there were several small chips in the white laminate coating. The other cabinet was as damaged on a back corner from being dropped. I was under a time limit and the supplier was unable to replace the cabinets. I was forced to install cabinets I knew to be damaged.

Upon opening the package I discovered the poor workmanship. I contacted my local store and was informed that I could return it to the store and order a new one. The local store is over an hour away not very local. I then called the Home Depot 1800 number provided by the store. The item was not damaged by shipping but was defective from the manufacturer I was instructed to call the warranty number. They were unable to assist me. As I stated earlier poor customer service……..

Good value and well packaged. Solid back made it easy to hang on wall. I used 2 for laundry

I would not recommend these to be hung on a wall as the Cabinets are poor quality with thin Box that were pulling apart before installation I has to use wood glue to help the joints stay. Apparently they used wood pegs without gluing them in place. My use for floor to ceiling so I did not care that they could nit hold their own weight since they were sitting on a home made base. I did attach them to the wall for extra safety. The shelves were better quality then the cabinets.

This was a good value with above average quality without getting a custom or hardwood cabinet.

Excellent quality, quick installation

Directions were clear. Had to figure out to measure inside the cabinet so I was not drilling blindly. Cabinets are nice and sturdy.

I really love the Benton model cabinets! I recently purchased a house that was built in 1956 that only had a sink, fridge and 20" stove in it. There were no cabinets and the appliances were at least 35 years old. I brought a kitchen layout to the store and they helped me order all the cabinets. Mike was especially helpful when I went back to order the countertops, too. The cabinets are attractive and sturdy and were installed onto the block interior walls of the kitchen. I'm very pleased about the quality, design and price.

I love the look of these cabinets. I bought them to have some storage over my washer & drier in the laundry room. However, they are terrible quality. The quality of the fake wood on the back is so bad that it’s literally falling apart on the wall. The shelves are falling apart from having my washing detergent and fabric softener on it. I have only had these up for a few months, so I am assuming I will have to replace them soon at this rate. Pictures to show what I am talking about. They would probably be fine if you’re looking for more of a medicine cabinet or something. Unfortunately, I am just sad at the low quality of these from a typically good brand.

We had a coffee pot near the cabinet and a toaster. We pulled them out from under the cabinet to use them and after a few weeks we notice the white on the doors has peeled off on the underside and has warped also. Both doors will have to be replaced. That's a shame as we did the whole kitchen in this Benton series. We moved the coffee pot next to another cabinet, not under it, and it looks like it is doing the same thing. Such a shame. I loved this kitchen set, but not if it has to be replaced when something warm is near it.

The only problem was the doors where not hung on the cabinet evenly, i had to loosen the hinges and slide one door down to line them up. Other than that we love it. Now I need to get 8 more doors that match.

Love our new cabinets - much more storage than we have previously with shorter cabinets. Love the inside of these too!

Good cupboard at a great price, doors all aligned I didn't have to adjust the hinges and shelves fit perfectly.

for the cost they seem like a good value for the Item I hung them by myself with a little to get it on the wall.

A screw for hinge was too deep and pushed out the formica veneer, both doors need replace, this is the 2nd unit as 1st special order was damaged in shipping, and then this replacement was wire strapped to palate so tight it dented the doors. awaiting replacement doors and living with the other issues found with them. Even some of the sizes available in store had issues unable to hold up other schedule of Remodel any longer. Of the 11 Hampton Bay Cabinet's used in this little kitchen 7 had issues 2 were returned and this one was reordered both damaged in shipping. Oh and Buyer Beware If you "Buy Home Depot Online" The Store "Can't help You" with issues. Online (Cecely) sounded sweet awaiting to see if new doors actually come ...I Have used this product before. What Happened ???

The overall appearance is ok. However the closer you look, you will notice a lot of damage/imperfections. At this point is not worth me taking them back to the store. As I'm using them in a laundry room. Corners are chipped and not leveled all the way around. Again, for a closed room, they are ok.

My kitchen make over looks awesome after installing these Benton Butterscotch cabinets! I am working on a tight budget and needed an attractive cabinet to replace some 1970s relics. These cabinets are sturdy, attractive, and have self closing draws. The extended 36" height gives me more storage than my old 30" tall cabinets. Hardly had to shim anything for square and level. I'm not a fan of painted cabinets, super dark finishes, or boring shaker style. Doors have a nice understated detailed door design. These cabinets fit my needs perfectly. Very pleased with the end results. Strongly recommend installing handles and pulls to help open and close doors and draws as everything closes tightly

The construction quality was very poor. Sides were not flush mounted causing uneven measurements. Thin material makes them not sturdy. Arrived damaged on one corner. Took forever to be delivered, so I had no time to return and wait

The ¾ in European-cut backer board is perfect for getting the cabinets hung easily and level. The doors are made well and have good quality hinges that open straight out so no spacer is needed for the doors to fully open and are easily adjustable. There are plenty of shelf options with all the peg holes. Shelves are quality thick material as well. If I were building a new house, I would consider using these cabinets.

This Benton Assembled 27 x 12.5 x 30 inch Wall Cabinet in White was the perfect replacement for a previous metal over-the-toilet floor rack unit which was rusting and interfered with cleaning the floor. I was able to install it myself since it comes with a convenient French cleat that easily mounts to the wall first which makes hanging and securing the cabinet much easier. You will need basic DIY skills, wall stud finder, level, drill, bits, and butterfly bolts for where studs are not available. Decent instructions are included. The cabinet is good quality with two shelves easy to install. The doors are equally good quality and easy to remove prior to installation and easy to adjust after installation.
