Beautiful, quiet and easy to install

I bought this for the low profile and bright light (still 3 bulbs) and it works just fine. It was pretty much like any other ceiling fan to install...just don't forget the trim ring and have to take the blades back off to install :( It doesn't move as much air as the fan it replaced but it still works OK at that and I appreciate the light that is at least as bright as the 3 bulb fixture it replaced. Get some higher output 60W LEDs and you'll be happy. Since I used mine in the kitchen, I went with colder bulbs (4000K) for that whiter light. It's only been up for a week or two but so far so good!

This fan was the right price and really gets the job done!! The light is nice and bright, I did put "daylight" LED bulbs in. The fan really help cool my warm kitchen when cooking! I would highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a nice looking fan that works well with a budget.

This ceiling fan is great! We hung this in our basement to get more air circulating on a hot day. It took my husband approximately 2 hours to assemble and install. The blades easily popped into place and the overall installation was very easy for him to do and he is not an expert when it comes to electricity! It is a big fan so it makes a lot of air circulate when it's on. The brushed nickel is a beautiful finish and the blades can either be a dark brown or a lighter brown color (we have the lighter version showing in our pictures). This is a beautiful ceiling fan that would be a beautiful addition to any room! The brightness of the light is also great. I love the look of this fan!

I have installed many ceiling fans in my past but this one is by far the easiest one. The blades click into the arms, the flush mount makes it more secure and less problomatic to wobling. I had to replace a wobling fan which used a rod with with this one and it was the best decision ever. It uses 3 regular light bulbs with a white dome which make the room very bright. A bonus was the fact it came with LED light bulbs which you can install very easily. I perfer the fact it uses the regular bulb sockets so that you don't have to get a special size light bulb. The price was great, the motor is super quiet, it has 3 settings for fan speed. I wish i had this installed in more places.

This model breaks the mold a bit of most traditional ceiling fans. It does not have the rod, and has a large motor housing, which actually makes it easier in some ways to install because of the change is weight. There is no remote, and does not need a wall switch if you only want to use the pull chains. The only difficulty during install was mounting the motor to the bracket, as the weight of the motor caused the bracket to flex and it was hard to get the screws to match up while holding the motor up. I suggest making sure the holes line up with the bracket before the install and flexing the bracket to line up before hand. Otherwise, the install only took about 15 minutes from the time I turned off the power. Everything went together quickly and smoothly. There is room to add a remote if you want, but make sure to do during the initial install. The beauty ring hides the screws on the top motor housing and the shade is real glass. Puts out a good amount of light and there was little vibration.

Just put this in. Already had one in this spot (from the 90's) that stopped spinning, and I replaced the light box back then with a plastic ceiling fan bracket. So I had the nice bolts for the main bracket already there. Gotta have strength there, don't want it falling. Make sure you have all 3 wires through the center plate. Forgot the ground, off comes the plate. After you put on the motor and big outer cover... put on that thin top cover ring that covers the 4 screws NEXT. Had to remove 3 blades to get it up there. The access to blade holder screws are via a notch in the light holder. So the top plate can go hook left or right. Hook left and the notch is in the back if that matters. My notch was in back, nearer a table. Power screwdriver works wonders. Most screws stay in the holders by themselves (great), but not the 3 light screws. Magnetic screwdriver there a must. Blades, you MUST press hard on the back of the blade to get it to lock. But way better then 3 screws per blade. Plugged in light assembly, one bulb and it works ! Fan chain goes inside the ring for the light or else it will be very hard to pull. Three BRIGHT bulbs (supplied), but you still have thick frosted glass. I had a 150W CLF in the dome of the old fan, but these were still brighter. Without the cover it's really bright. Why the companies tint/frost the glass so much, I don't know. On 8' ceiling and when on high, this moves air. Medium is nice. Lights are all on or all off. Took an hour but I must have installed some 7 fans over the years. If this is to replace a regular light, got to get the top bracket on and bolted right. There are easy to add brackets for just a few bucks for a secure fit, no crawling in the attic. No wobble (make sure the fan arms click) and they are real easy to take off if needed. Silent, unless at top speed, then you hear the wind. This thing moves ! Reversible blades and direction, looks neat (old one was gold) , decent instructions (yea, I did read most of it). I have two other Hampton fans in the house and they are some 20+ years old.

Fan is great. Wish there was a better method to register the warranty. Still haven't been able to complete the process since you can't do it online and there's no direct line to call it in.

This is a beautiful fan. Easy to install and works great! Hampton Bay fans are thru out my home.

Easy assemble. Quiet operation. Nice looking model. I replaced an older fan and this looks great!

The fan installation was going great. The fan itself is designed for an easy install. Then when I got to the end where is was installing the light assembly and there was a problem. The unit used inferior threaded nipples to run the wires through. When I hung the light glass cover the entire assembly came loose. there is no was to tighten these nuts as the threads are poorly cut. I called the help desk and I was told they would send out a new light assembly. So here i am with a bedroom incomplete. I am just hoping it arrives within a week or so. Who knows?

This is by far the easiest fan I have ever installed. The operation is quiet and smooth, a good value!

Previously purchased a more expensive Hunter fan and it was loud and flimsy. This much cheaper Hampton Bay fan is well constructed and relatively quiet. My husband and I were quite impressed with the quality and style given the price.

Assembly and installation went perfectly. I love the new blade design (snap in place instead of screw on). The fans are just a little noisier than other Hampton Bay fans I’ve purchased, but still acceptable. Al in all, a pretty good value.

I have NOTHING to critique. I replace a previous fan that wobbled, had a hum, and didn't fit the room. This fan, although the same size as the previous fan, moves the air much better. Is completely silent and looks great. I installed it alone without any issues.

Had professional install. Took less than 1/2 hour. Runs very quiet.circulates the air very well. We have ot in our master bedroom.
