Remote stopped working in less than 6 weeks
Have been through customer service, wont sent a replacement receiver or remote. Have had to reset the remote several times previously. Was working fine, remote lights up but does not send a signal. No issues with wiring, was working fine and remote died. Would love to try and repair but doesnt seem like I got the right customer service person.

We are sorry to hear that you had this issue. Please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and ask to speak to a manufacturer's representative if they are unable to send a replacement remote and receiver. HamptonBay
    Turning the light off with the remote is intermittent, had the intermittent function confirmed by the professional installer. To fix the issue i will have to pay to have the fan taken down and a pay to have a replacement installed. I am not a happy customer.

    We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. It sounds like the remote receiver may be receiving an interfering signal from another device in the area which could cause the intermittent operation. This can be easily resolved by changing the dip switch settings in the remote and receiver. Changing the dip switch settings will change the frequency of the remote to avoid the interfering signal. IF this does not resolve the issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.     Well it does work for the 1 ceiling fan I tried it on. Pros: Pretty easy to set up. Pairing the fan/remote with the device was simple. It recognized my fan & all its options correctly. It does work. Cons: Way too expensive for what it does. If you wanted to control all the fans in your house, you'd have to buy one of these for every room at $85-100 each. Then you have to power it with a USB charger. Then you have to place it somewhere in the room, and the thing is pretty big and only comes in black. So you'll have to consider where are you going to put this device? I'd say this is worth about half of what they're charging for it. Then it would be a good purchase.

    Hi there, if the device or fan uses an RF remote, the Bond Bridge can cover approximately 2500 square feet in a wood-constructed residence, and this area will be reduced if there are metal walls or concrete. If IR, the Bond Bridge needs to be at least 10 feet from the device and within line of sight.

    This means as long as your fans are within that 2500 sq ft (if RF), you don't need multiple Bond units. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us at customerservice@bondhome.io Bond

    THe light flickers and it is believed there is a problem with the remote. If that is not the case I will have to return the light. I paid to have it installed , then will have to pay to have it uninstalled and then I will have to pay to have a new one installed. NOT WORTH IT.

    Almost never works
    This bond controller works about 20% of the time. I constantly have to reset it or troubleshoot it in some way, shape, or form. I never know what fixes it when has to be reset or why it stops working in the first place but I have to do it almost daily. I have become so frustrated with it never working I am basically giving up on it. Save yourself the frustration and find other means to make your fans/lights work with smart controls (ie smart fan purchase, wifi wall controller, etc)

        Overall, the fan works and is just okay. My previous Hampton Bay fan that lasted 20+ years was fantastic. This one in comparison is lacking. The one big difference is Hampton Bay has removed the button on the remote to reverse the direction the blades spin, which was on my previous Hampton Bay remote. Now you need a step stool or ladder to get to the toggle switch on the motor body to change the direction. That's nuts! It was not obvious on the box when purchased that this feature was missing. Really disappointing.
