Just the right size and color for my small kitchen. Its doing its job of lighting up the kitchen well and keeping it cool while I am cooking and baking. I had an electrician install it. It seemed easy to do.

This fan is fairly inexpensive but it is VERY quiet...
This fan is fairly inexpensive but it is VERY quiet and moves plenty of air for a 10x10 bedroom. It was very easy to install and the instruction video was clear and easy to follow. This one also gives you the flexibility to be mounted on a down rod or as a ceiling "hugger" if you have a low ceiling. If you have a room the right size for a 42 inch fan this one is an excellent choice.

Gorgeous fan! This fan is modern and sleek and perfect for a small bedroom or office! It is super quiet and comes with LED bulbs and chain pulls that I can reach as a shorter woman. And for the price, I would put one in all rooms!!

The fan is installed in a relatively small room. I replaced a 36" fan with this one, which is 44" in order to get more of a cooling breeze when I exercise. This improved the air flow a little bit, but not much.

We're sorry to hear that you had this issue. As stated in the product description, the blades are reversible on with espresso finish on one side and medium walnut on the other.

In general, before returning an item, we suggest calling Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678). Most times, issues can be resolved over the phone with some minor troubleshooting.
