I researched a LOT of sheds (plastic, composite, wood etc.) and finally decided on this one. Great choice, very happy with the quality and size. It's TALL....so make sure you are ready for what you'll get. Good news is you can easily stand up inside and it's roomy (and if you're going to get a shed, error on the next size up from what you start with..no one ever complains afterwards about having too much room)! Kit comes with inside wrap-around shelves that are perfect design. I would strongly suggest you include the installation. Gentleman came out with the shed and had it built and complete in less than 5 hours, and did a very professional job. I added a window/screen for some ventilation and had the installer put it in. I painted it myself to match our house. Do yourself a favor, caulk everything good, then put a good coat of paint on it (for outdoor I always use a satin finish for a better lasting and easier clean-up). Most of the wood was already primed, but some trim pieces needed primer still. Next step: solar lights for the inside!

The product was exactly as advertised. The only issue I have about was with the installation of the shed. I was disappointed with the way the shingles were installed. There were approximately 6 shingles that was not sitting flat on the roof, there was a space between the shingle and the roof. I had to purchase some shingle cement to apply between the crack in each of the tiles. I did not report the problem because I did not want to cause any trouble for the install crew who seem like nice people.

Exactly what I was expecting. Really like the upper shelving around the interior. The installer was were professional & got it done even quicker than he said up front!

This shed is a good fit for our needs. I ordered online in mid-April. The first available install date was just before Memorial day weekend; about 4 weeks wait. The installer called the day before to remind me of the install date and a window for when the installer would arrive at my home. On the install date the builder called and said he'd arrive at 8:30-8:45am; he arrived promptly at 8:45. I showed him to the location where the shed would go, and such. I was surprised to see only one guy but he said he has built like a million of these units. Over the next hour and a half he unloaded and moved most of the materials and staged them around the yard. I think the first nail was shot at 10:30. By 6:15 he had completed everything and was on his way. He cleaned up and left no mess or extra materials behind. I chose this particular unit because it has loft storage space on both sides and one end. Plus it has a work-bench. Overall I am pleased with it so far, but it's only been up for 1 week. One thing I was a little unhappy about was that the reminder call individual said the installer had would have roofing felt to use as well as anything else I might require. This was not true. I like the double doors too but am curious to see how it will fare during the rainy season. Specifically around the door as there are some gaps between and or around the doors that seem like places water might be able to get in. We'll see. It's a good shed and not too big so as to cause problems with local building codes for square-footage/size. I wish it had some sort of gable vent or the like but I have seen others install them at a later date; caution here as it may affect warranties, according to some other reviews.

I have had the product a week now. It took around two months for the installation company to get the product shipped to them from the manufacturer and then install it. The quality is good and I am very pleased with it. I have ordered a window and will be installing it. The installation was very fast. Three guys showed up and did it in three hours. I installed it on gravel and I am glad I did. It makes it so much easier to level. There were some things with the installation to be aware of. They were emphatic about the three foot clearance. They ended up putting the shed so close to a two hundred year old oak tree that the limbs were going to wreck the edge of the roof in the wind. I asked them repeatedly not do put it so close but they would not work on the other side of the shed because they said I had no trimmed the bushes enough. They were very polite in their refusal and were great guys but it did result in the shed being installed too close to the tree. I called Home Depot and they called the manufacturer. Home Depot gave me a $50 credit for the inconvenience. The manufacturer did not call me back and so I called them. The guy was polite but not concerned and told me to call the installation company. So, I did. I live 150 miles from the installation company's office and two days later they had a manager out to look at it. It was most amazing. With a two by four and a car jack he had the shed moved in 15 minutes. He made it look so easy. He leveled it, fixed a door and ordered an extra door because he thought the one he fixed may not hold properly. I have filled the shed with my woodworking tools and for some reason the back has now settled but it is fine, side to side. However, even with my tools in the shed I will be able to get someone to pry up the back, push gravel under the runners and then lower it back down. I will probably be able to get it leveled again in just a few minutes. Just takes some muscle. I really like the "loft" and the high shelves. The add a lot to it. It comes primed and has to be painted within a couple of months. I intend to do that. Once I paint it, add a window and maybe some shutters I will post an updated photo.

We were a bit disappointed when the delivery arrived with only one person to do the installation. I had visions of having to spend the whole day helping him build the shed. But it turned out the installed was a true professional, very efficient and well-versed in putting up these buildings! He completed the whole thing in only a few hours, and it looks great! The day after installation, we had almost continual rain. When I checked the shed the next day, though, it was completely dry inside, no sign of any leakage at all. This is a quality shed kit, well designed, using very good materials. We are completely satisfied with it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for shed of this size and quality. The shed was delivered and assembled as scheduled. I would suggest putting a third 4X4 down the center, beneath the floor joists, to support the floor a little better. I also added 2X6's, to help support the overhead storage area, because I plan on storing a lot of weight up there. Additionally, I added felt paper and drip edge to the roof to help protect it. It added very little cost to the shed, but should add a lot of life to it. I am very please with my shed and the extra work space I gained because of the various overhead storage provided in the kit. The biggest change I would like to have seen, would be to have 2X6 floor joists, rather than 2X4s. Adding an additional 4X4 underneath with supports to keep it level helps give the floor the extra strength you need. I saved several hundreds of dollars using this shed as compared to the Tough Shed.

Waited for over six weeks for this shed to be delivered and installed, but it seems to be worth it. The shed is top quality and the installer put it together in four hours. It was pouring rain when he got here. All I had to do is caulk and paint it. I can't stay out of it.

I've only had this for a week but I'm enjoying this addition to my yard. I got this on sale and it is worth the price. The installer did an excellent job building my shed. It has a lot of room and the shelves provide extra space to store boxes. I have put caulk on the shed as recommended by builder and will paint soon. I will post more pictures once installed.

Do like I did and wait till it goes on sale: You'll save $200. Delivery people kept me in the loop to schedule and reschedule due to our heavy rains here of late (Texas). Gave me plenty of warning on the day of delivery. Installer sub was polite and competent -- he even installed the extra window we ordered. Other sheds cost double after ups and extras and sometimes didn't have the workbench and overhead storage. The extra window we ordered is great; we would have ordered a skylight by the comments on them said they were flimsy and the installer verified that opinion; we may just get an aftermarket one on our own. Made mostly of particle board: Requires that you caulk all seams and paint it in order to get warranty. OK, no surprises there. Also, it's already primed and ready to paint.

I would highly recommend purchasing the shed with the professional assembly service. They were very skilled and quickly assembled the entire kit. For your purchase to last longer, I would recommend purchasing the roof felt paper and drip edge. For a minimal cost, this will extend the life of your shed.

I had this shed recently installed and could not be happier. It was installed professionally in about 5 hours by ONE guy. He moved methodically however and appeared to have installed a lot of these sheds so I would imagine it would take a first timer much longer. After installation we were able to relocate almost everything in our garage to the shed with plenty of room to spare. It took me about 6-7 hours to paint by myself and I am quite proud of the finished product :)

I expected the siding on the shed to be like the siding in the photo. I know some of you are probably thinking this is not a big deal, but I am a very visual person and I actually do not like the siding or the way it is trimmed on the shed side. This is really the only issue that I have but thought some of you might want to know this in case you are visual as well. I might also say that the installers were very nice and did a great job getting this put together in a day! I am including a picture of the shed that was installed so you can see the difference. In my humble opinion the siding design looks cheap and not as stylish as what is presented in the photo online.

I am very happy with the product and service! I am glad I paid for the installation. It was done weeks earlier than promised. The installer was courteous and friendly, and did an excellent job! Only down side is after I caulked and painted it, it looks nicer than my house !! Very happy, and highly recommend!! Well done Home Depot, and Handy Home Products!

All I did was watch as Jose the one man army built this shed in less than a day! He was on time and called to notified me before he left his base. He was 1 hour away. He has his own air compressor and tools for fast installation and showed good attention to details on the shed. Not only was it on sale but it included delivery and installation. I am very happy with this Home Depot purchase!

The product arrived and in excellent conditioni, only a single board i found was a little warped. The installer that arrived brought everything he needed with him and had the shed built in about 7 hours. It turned out exactly how it was advertised and now just needs some paint. i'm so happy i went with the option to have it built for me and would recommend to others the same that don't have any carpenter experience.

Shed kit was delivered on time by the installers. They had to hump the parts through our people gate, and up the small hill to the back of our lot,w here we already had a preexisting concrete pad. Two young guys, working diligently, took about 5 hours from start to completion. They were very informative about their processes, and took great care in getting everything level and square. My wife and I painted the building after they left, and finished it up the next morning. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Shingles from half the roof and trim fell off yesterday during a storm a year and a half after purchase. I called to see if repairs could be made under the warranty and was denied any assistance. As far as I am concerned the materials are cheap/ poor craftsmanship and the company does not stand behind their product. But they did offer to sell me more shingles!!! Will NOT do business with this company again.

Great roomy shed. Installer from Handy Home Products was great (Michigan Made Handyman), shed went up in one day, one man show. Recommended highly!

Though it looks good, it's very cheaply done. The door is not sturdy. In fact, the first major windstorm we had literally blew the door off the frame. Many of the pieces were warped. The door handle/lock was very poorly installed as were the hooks to keep the door closed. May have been the installers, but overall...could have been better

Well, looked good at first. have only has a few months and the door blows off. The door shouldn't blow off if closed and latched but it did. Door was warped when first assembled so had a gap and never fully closed initially. Not satisfied

The installer showed up in a personal vehicle towing a Uhaul trailer (with pregnant wife). It appeared unprofessional. He showed up at 4:30pm (gets dark at 6:30) and announced that he would need to complete it that day. He said he would be done around 7-8. At 9 he was still not done. He finished around 9:30. The next day, a good amount of nails were either not fully pounded in or completely missed the stud. Very unprofessional and shoddy workmanship. Very rushed.

There were issues w/the lumber that they had in the kit (warp...basically JUNK), their pre-cut roof rafters were cut short about an 1", so is the vertical frame on the back wall. I have to make a lot of trip back to HD in order to buy the lumber & hardware needed to complete the shed. Backyard Products said send them all the receipts that just I paid, and they'll reimburse me the money, this was back in Nov 2021, as as of today Feb 2022, they sent me nothing! I would recommend to buy another shed from another reputable company, because you'll run into problems assembling of this shed. The customer service managers there don't care, and they never call you back. If you read other 1 star review from others, you'll see why.

This appears to be a beautiful shed and perfect for our needs but Handy Homes has canceled the installation 4 times now. We paid in full in December and here it is 8 weeks later and still NO installation and no firm date in place. We have been unsuccessful in getting any results from phone conversations. We have been given 3+ promises but NO results. We have heard all the excuses. Backyard Productions and Home Depot should stand behind the companies who benefit from their website advertisements.
