This little trap works great. Im using it to catch chipmunks and relocate them elsewhere. This trap does not harm them in any way and its easy to set, trap and release. Highly recommend!

Did the trick! Caught a chipmunk within 30 minutes of setting the trap. Great for chipmunks but too small for squirrels, but that's not what I bought it for .Easy to use, although I did search online for a video of how to set it up. Used peanut butter on a small piece of bread.

Excellent product. Caught 12 rats in about one week. Easy to set up. Door works well for easy release. The springs are vulnerable to damage but was surprised manufacturer includes an extra packet of springs as well. Very pleased.

Wish the springs were a little more sturdy

i got it to catch squirrel, it is way to small for squirrels.+

Work great. I suggest putting garden stakes through it to hold trap in case animal chews strings they can’t overturn and escape.

Works great. Easy to set. U put weight on it to keep bigger critters from dragging away.

Animal tore up springs on first catch, you provided spare springs but what about when he tears up those? Is this just a 2 use trap ,then throw away? Rust started the first use, not made to last. Very dissatisfied with quality and poor design. Trap needs to be galvanized metal and made so animal cannot tear up moving parts to render it useless .

Bait mechanism is less than ideal. Should have a bait platform mechanism not a hook.

Caught a little mouse and was able to set him free alive. The trap has to be set so it is really sensitive to activity or it does not spring shut when an animal takes the bait.

Easy to use and works great!

So far i have caught and released 5 of 6 marauding chipmunks. The last one seems on to the traps but i know the inquisitive nature of these little fellows will lead to its containment. Here Alvin,come to daddy!

My pet rats escaped so unfortunately I had to get a trap to recapture them, but this worked fine and they were unharmed.

Harris Catch & Release Cage Trap very effective, but squirrels tear up the springs inside--its is like trapping lightning in a bottle. Caught 4 squirrels before door handle broke. I believe this trap is worth the money spent for it in value.

I need something to catch baby possums in - the size of rats. My cat brings them in through the pet door as presents, and they "play dead"- so when they are set down , they scamper off and hide. This is the third type of trap I have bought.....returned the Havahart 2 door style.....too complicated and inconvenient for me to set. The first havahart trap was too large, and too difficult for me to set. I am a 65 yr old female (recent shoulder surgery) and need something very simple and easy.

Only good for smaller squirrels. The cage is designed like a cheese grater so the squirrels scalp themselves trying to get out.
