I purchased two of these to install above our new vanity. They’re beautiful with many options for shelving placement; I especially love the attachments available for the shelves.

This cabinet can be either surface mounted or recessed. My application required a surface mount. It’s one of the most interesting mounting systems I’ve ever dealt with for something of this weight. Two cams slide into a channel on the top of the cabinet and lock onto two studded screws in the wall. It’s the same system used with pressboard furniture that uses rotating cams for assembly. You can see it in my pics. The cabinet looks nice. The white frame and the silver border are both attractive. The mirrors on the sides are nice, but they only cover the sides of the actual cabinet. One of the mounting cams sits right at the edge of the cabinet, and the side mirror doesn’t cover it. I would have preferred a recess mount overall. The hinges have slow closers so the door doesn’t slam. They work well. I have a video of the door closing w/ this review. The cabinet is packed very well and the instructions are good. My only real complaint is related to mounting. The corner edges of the cabinet are square and a little sharp, and one of the corners cut up the paint on the bathroom wall during mounting. I would recommend beveling all of the corners before mounting. Overall, a nice medicine cabinet with a solid mounting system. Bevel the corners and it will be a perfect install, or just recess it.

first of all, this thing was packed for travel. the outer box was very big, and an inner box was completely encased in high density air packing material. very high quality medicine cabinet. excellent construction. very sturdy corners. attractive and decorative look to the outside as well. the detail on the front is exceptional. also, it is deeper than most of the other cabinets i have looked at. this gives much more room inside and allows you to make the most of the hole you just had to cut into your bathroom wall. i would highly recommend. just love it.

This cabinet is attractive and very useful with its anti-fog glass and its good size. I do note that there are some very visible gaps on the frame of the mirror. Pretty straightforward to set-up, the cabinet comes fully assembled (just need to add the shelves) and well packed. It's a very basic model without anything fancy but it does the job with a good size, non-fog mirror, glass shelves, etc.

This cabinet is very robust. Versatility to be mounted on the wall or in the wall is nice. I don't care as much for the internal mirror surround design, but the entire unit is quite functional. There are mirrors for the sides if you install as a surface-mount unit. Obviously these are not needed when recessing in the wall. I really like the mirrored finish inside the cabinet - it adds quality and versatility to this unit. The internal mirror - like glass - is easy to clean and helps me keep the shelves clean. Internal mirror keeps me from opening/shutting/etc constantly saving time. The build quality and adjust-ability for install make this medicine cabinet a win. All material needed to hang/cut into wall are included. Every glass/mirror surface is protected with either a blue plastic tape or a clear coating. Attention to detail reflects in the build quality. It fits in small spaces well. Glass shelves are nice too. Really impressed with the build quality.

When I received this cabinet from Home Decorators Collection, I was absolutely amazed by the elegance of it. To start, it comes with everything except the basic tools of the DIY'er. With alittle studying of the instructions for the mounting that is needed, rather recessed or surface mount, the instructions are there, and easy to understand. The cabinet is wrapped inside and out with plenty of mirror. And the inside has more than enough storage. It even has three convenient storage bins to mount inside for extras. And it is even adjustable to different levels. Makes the bathroom look like a million dollar home. One thing I find as a negative, is the shelves can slide out, which are glass, if not careful when removing items from the shelves. I'm planning to put two way tape at the end of each to secure better for my son. Great product overall.

Working on my last bathroom and needed to add a medicine cabinet since my house is 70's style with no room for storage. Had to purchase a surface mount since my plumbing is in the wall right behind the vanity to recess was not an option. This Home Decorator Collection model 20"x26" is going to do the trick for me since my sink and vanity is only 24" so could not use a larger model. Construction is very nice and white trim will fit my décor just right.

We have had the same medicine cabinet in our main bathroom since we moved in over 23 years ago and it was time for a change. I saw this cabinet and I absolutely loved it, it is very modern and has this really cool metal beading all around the mirror and speaking of the mirror it’s fog free! No more wiping the mirror after a shower! This has a really spacious interior with plenty of storage. If you don’t want to mount this between studs you can just mount it on the wall as it comes with side mirrors to hide the sides. Love this!

Easy recessed install! Took less than 10 minutes, once we plunged into the new sheet rock we just finished the week before... When looking for a new medicine cabinet we were torn between the wall mount style and the recessed units. Just finishing a several month renovation to our basement, we were at the point of bathroom vanity, fixtures and the other fine details such as a medicine cabinet. This cabinet has traditional look, a bold frame around the mirror and classic style all rolled into one. Absolutely love the no fog tempered glass and the large amount of interior space. Easy to follow instructions gave us the option to surface mount if we weren’t absolutely sure about the placement in the newly refinished basement bathroom. Will probably go get another one for the upstairs guest bathroom when we finish with this bathroom..

The really neat thing about our ThinHaus models is that they include a full kitchen and a full bath. That means a flush toilet and a sink with medicine cabinet. These are our go-to model for that as they are very sturdy with a great balance between size and function. Our mounting choice is "on the wall," but you could mount this "in the wall" if you wanted. It works both ways and looks great. There are a few choices on design here. This is one of our favorites.

This cabinet is the bomb! It is high quality. The shelving inside and the extra containers all work so well. I also love all the mirrors. Definitely recommend this medicine cabinet!

Very well made cabinet. The only complaint I have with it is the mounting system to mount it to the wall.

This is a nice cabinet but bought the last one that was on the wall. I did not know that it would not come with all the parts because on the wall. I was not told that it is bought as is.

We tried forever to get the supplied screws to work. They were much too big for the holes. Had to go through my own misc screws supply to find 4 that are of the right size.

Nice medicine cabinet built well and fairly priced

My only complaint was both identical cabinets were missing the small screws for mounting the side brackets for the side mirrors. Otherwise everything else is excellent.

It is not easy to install mounted on the wall.

The wall mounted medicine cabinet is excellent.However about 3 weeks ago I purchased a 24in.sink with a base cabinet. This thing is awful with door knobs that do not match and can not be screwed on.There is a one inch space between the doors when they are closed.I could not find a box that wasn’t taped and this makes me think returns are not checked.Perhaps you can buy me a one inch spacer to close the gap between the doors. I think I’ll try Loews or Ferguson next time.

Easy installation Love the mirrored inside door and back of the cabinet. It looks like a framed mirror not a medicine cabinet.

This medicine cabinet is AMAZING We bought Two for our newly remodeled bathroom One over the sink and one above the toilet Inside the door is completely a magnifying mirror and also the entire back wall is a mirror Absolutely love everything about it The door is reversible The glass shelves are terrific and it comes with several small clear acrylic containers for odds and ends Also it can be recessed into the wall or mounted flat on the wall This is exactly what we needed Very attractive
