Works great for my Remote ready Ceiling Fans. Unfortunately it does not work for RF Remotes for my Fireplace.

First thing to be aware of this product seems to be what programmers today would call in Beta, meaning some of it works great and other functions are still a work in process and not necessarily ready for prime time. I am trying to add two ceiling fans for control by google home (I cannot test Alexa but I've read a few reviews saying the Alexa integration may be better). At this time google home can do nothing but turn the fan on and off, you'll need the company app for light controls, dimmer, and fan speed. I've had this unit a few weeks working with it on and off and they release firmware updates (that have the fan control setups in them) fairly often lately about once per week. I'm not sure the company should be selling this thing at this price point without being clear that it's really primitive with any but certain brands... I.e. they need to list which models it is fully functional with and clearly state that it may work with others but has not been fully tested or something like that. I'm a little disappointed that Home Depot would list this product on the same page as my ceiling fans, also sold by Home Depot, when the unit is clearly not fully ready for prime time with my fans. I have awhile before I can't return it anymore, I keep hoping they'll release a control setup that works better with my fans and that google home integration gets improved to at least allow light on and off as well as fan on and off. My fan has a pretty fancy remote, on/off toggle, three fan speed buttons and then light on/off toggle and several levels of dimmer (all on one button). The light is so far where their control setup is not working properly with my fan. So I suppose all this means is that it might just be smarter to buy new ceiling fans already certified to work properly with third party integration to Google and Alexa, ceiling fans can be purchased for not much more than this unit costs..of course that's for each fan so it can get expensive if you have a lot of fans. The company would go a long way with me by including a list of fans that are known to work properly with their product either via their web site or available on their app (gets tiring adding endless apps which google home needs on your device so it can communicate with the product it operates). I think this product is a great idea but it's kinda annoying to be treated as an unpaid beta tester especially when I had to pay for a product that isn't ready to be sold with the description you get. That description needs to reveal which fans it works correctly with and contain the disclaimer that they release new firmware fairly regularly which adds functionality but no guarantee that it works with your fan especially if it's not on the list of fully tested products (if they even test them or is that what they are expecting their customers to do after they paid all that money for their Beta product).

It has a tendency to drop the fans connection

Runs silently. Really moves air! However, the one thing we did NOT want was a fan with a remote. Everything today comes with a remote. We need a remote to find our remotes! Irritating! However, once the fan is set on the speed that you prefer, you can simply turn the fan off and on via your regular light switch. Fan remembers the last setting. So, basically, we are happy with that. Also, reversing and controlling fan speed is a snap…as long as you can find your remote! Love the fan, seriously.

Installed for three Hunter fans about 6 years old. Had problems, not the sharpest on this but chatted with Julie at Bond and she walked is through it. She was great. Customer Service is exceptional. All fans finally working great, most problems were with us going through the install. I highly recommend this product.

The fan works perfectly with lots of air power and good looks. The Bond Bridge is a pain to connect.

This single device has allowed me to connect all our ceiling fans and their lights, to our Alexa infrastructure. I was on the fence before buying it due to the cost, but it is worth it! For example, I've been able to incorporate a ceiling fan light into an Alexa routine to switch it off while powering up a nearby light as we switch rooms in the evening.

This a quiet and very effective fan! I had an older model that had seen better days and then just quit. I HAD to get another one... just an FYI the remote does not come with a wall mount.

Not cheap, but the best IR remote I've found, as it also will do many RF remotes. Despite the UI focus on fans and such, I've also gotten it to control TVs and my security system, you just have to fake the device and then rename it so it makes sense in Alexa, etc.

Doesn’t work with 5ghz networks.

Best IOT device I’ve recently bought

easy setup, but sometimes the signal is send and nothing happens, have to repeat several times. No a big deal but could be annoying. Overall a good solution to make your fans "Smart"

It was recommended for the fan I purchased from Home Depot. Bond tech support has confirmed that even though they've known about the issue for over a year, the Bond device doesn't work w/ my fan.

Use this for a total of 4 ceiling fans and an unexpected IR remote for another device. Works fantastic. 2200 Sq Ft house and gets all the ceiling fans. Scheduled times and works with Alexa great.
