Love the look of the new ceiling fan. We installed it in the master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling that has no other lights. The light is very bright and meets our needs, for some it may be too bright. Installation took longer than what my contractor said normally takes, patience is needed on this install. End result is worth it.

Easy to install and has a lot of cool features; love that it's dimmable.

Although nice looking this fan is cheaply made. The cheap screws quickly stripped causing a delay in install. Once that was resolved all of the wires were cut down so the remote would fit. The first couple of times it was on it was quiet then the low humming. Then it got louder and louder. To the point the fan was taken down, disassembled and returned. I will never buy another product from this company as the materials are cheap and motors junk.

Most frustrating installation ever. It took me three days, in one hour attempts each, to get the remote receiver in. There is no clearance room, and it was very difficult to tuck the wires away, while standing on a ladder, unable to see what I was doing because of the size of the fan. I ended up taping the remote receiver to the ceiling before installing the fan, having it lined up perfectly so that after the fan went in, I could slide the receiver into place. Also, I recommend unscrewing the screws in the mounting bracket that hold the cover into place _before_ installing the fan, because there is no room to unscrew them with a screwdriver once you have everything connected to the ceiling. Overall, it took me five hours, over five days, to install this. But now that it is in, it is quiet and beautiful. The attached photo show a screw/drill bit about 2" long that I taped to the mounting bracket screw so you can see how little space there is to work.

We purchased two fans for our guest bedroom and office. Everything went well in installation until just past opening the box. I had electrical boxes installed in the ceiling by a licensed electrician and a problem was encountered right out of the chute. The new ceiling fan box was too small for the mounting bracket. It was necessary to drive to the hardware store and purchase an all-purpose crossbar that could be mounted on the electrical box and then mount the bracket on the crossbar. Everything about the installation after this problem was solved went as expected. The fan moves air and the light eliminates the room. The unit is stylish and is the right size for the room.

40 year light defective after 1 year and no way to replace. Light flickers and just went to store to see if they had replacements and display unit doing the same thing mine is doing. Clearly a manufactures issue that you can't get resolved. Do not purchase this fan or any under this brand. You will have to replace very soon after you purchase. Warranty only covers motor and you pay to ship. Not worth it! Home Depot should be ashamed selling these low quality fans.

The product itself was nice looking but on the lower end of the quality scale, this was reflected by the lower cost of the product. Blades are thin press wood with cheap material that is not symmetrical in design giving some blades a poor appearance (cut line down the center of the blade with a two-tone color looks out of place). Remote is cheaply made and has no wall hanger pocket making it easy to misplace or lose. Lighting is fair for a large room but additional lighting will be required for anything bigger than 20'x20' sq. ft. Assembly and mounting were easy about 30 minutes but lacked a key component, safety drop cable (leash) was not included. If the fan were to come loose from the ceiling this could be a safety hazard. This ceiling fan is limited to HD and parts ARE NOT AVAILABLE for replacement on HD website. No blades, remote, LED light cover, so a call to support in Mexico is required (SAVE YOUR RECIEPT). Support was pleasant to deal with to get a replacement remote but did require about 30 minutes to complete the transaction. Next time a remote replacement is required I will just purchase an aftermarket remote kit or replace the fan. Due to the appearance, size, ease of installation and cost ($165) I would recommend for flip home or home without dogs (eating remote) and children (losing remote). Fast and east to install great product

Fan is great. Remote control is not built in the system and could not be installed with separate wall switches for the light & fan. Instructions for fan assembly could have been written a little more clearly. Fan is extremely quiet and the light is nice touch.

Installation is pain, need 2 people - 1 to hold things high (and they are heavy) and second to position them and screw together. No thinking on part of engineers. Light stopped working in 1 month. Power goes to it (checked with volt-meter), but light does not work. Supposed to work 20+ years! It's not just a light bulb, it is electrical schema(see image), so not easily purchased and replaced .

Love the fan! I decided to not use the remote and wired it the the wall switch which includes a dimmer switch and a separate 4 speed fan switch (as opposed to the 3 on the remote). The fan is stylish, runs super quiet and is the steadiest of any fan we have owned so far (no swinging or out of balance movement). The air flow is also perfect at each of the fan speeds.

It 's a little complicated to out together, but once it was put together I love it. I looks for sleek noe thats it up and very comtemporary.

This fan is sleek, elegant, quiet and easy to assemble by one person. Total time to install was 2.5 hours including 30 minutes to remove the existing 15 year old broken ceiling fan. The instructions were easy to follow, step-by-step and everything worked perfectly the first time through. Thankfully, I had marked my house wires beforehand. The LED light is very bright and has a wide range for dimming. I installed it at the apex of a 14' vaulted ceiling with an 18" down rod. The remote was easy to program and you can hear a slight "click" so you know your button-press was received. This was installed a few days ago and was an excellent choice.

This fan makes your room feel a lot bigger because of how well it’s designed. I love this fan. The price on point and I would highly recommend this fan for remodeling an old house or even upgrading your new house.

This fan is easy to install and looks amazing once done.

OMG! LED LIGHT SHOULD BE IN AN OPERATING ROOM. Even when dimmed to lowest possible light while still being on this casts an unflattering light tone. Same effect of a just installed florescent light. NOT a soft white light. Makes your house look like a dentist office. Bluish cast, unflattering to skin and objects. Dimmer only makes very slightly better. Very disappointed. Thought I could buy lower wattage or brightness bulb- NO! This fan has the "convenience" of never having to buy a bulb which means stuck with burned eye balls. Calling electrician $$$ to see IF I can $urchase a different light kit. Fan looks great if you don't turn on the light.

The fan does not blow the air. The motor sounds like it’s going faster then sounds slower. There’s a hum sound. The light is bright white it can be dimmed but there’s no bulb to change so you are stuck with a bright white light. I THINK the reason there’s little air flow even when in high is because the down rod is too short. It cost me quite a bit to have the fan installed and I don’t like it. I will probably buy something else and return this one. I just had it put up yesterday so it was a hot night.

As with most fans this comes with some assembly required. The overall look is nice and modern, and the lack of hanging lights below the fan means a little more room if you have taller people in your family. The remote has a strong signal and I was able to use it from the other end of the house through at least 2 walls a distance of around 50'. The fan is pretty quite compared to my other fans and a lack of chains means no clanging noise on the high setting. That also leads to one of the down sides of this fan, there are no manual controls, aside from the directional control switch on the motor, and the battery for the remote is an abnormal size, would've like to seen a standard AA or AAA battery used. The fan works really good as far as moving air, the LED light on it though doesn't brighten as well as traditional drop lights, but it is dimmable which is a nice feature. The installation took less than an hour, just removing and replacing an existing fan and there is a little extra work installing remote receiver "it slides into the mounting bracket", there is plenty of cord length for wiring "I had to remove about 2' of extra wire". Works well on an angled ceiling and has a nice clean look to it. Overall it's a nice sleek, clean, quite fan.

Clean lines, unique assembly approach and surprisingly powerful best describes this ceiling fan. The fan blade mounting paddles (my word) are easily assembled on a mounting plate which is then attached to the motor housing with several screws. The instructions show attaching the blades (5) before hanging but unlike many fans these can easily be added last, keeping them out of the way when hanging, wiring etc. One thing I've never seen before is how the motor reversing switch is hidden from view but accessible by lifting the upper shroud (see photos). Last but certainly not least, is the exceptional air movement - this thing moves over 5000 CFM at top end (the average 52" fan moves typically between 3000 and 4000 CFM. In my case, since this is mounted over the bed, the amount of "wind" created was a bit disconcerting at ANY speed. I solved this by reversing the motor direction and the resulting indirect effect of air movement is much gentler and pleasing. This would be a great choice for a large room and mounted a little higher than usual.

Easy to install easy to operate, quite and attractive.

After installing 1000's of fans in last 40 years, had to look at how to put together as the better the fans get the more different to assemble. But went very well only hard part is to base (see pic with blades installed) little trick just start screws all of them on each blade then tighten them as if tighten just one at a time you will fined hard to get second screw in has to line up just so, start but do not tighten till both screws are in. Then the rest of assemble is a piece of cake. Just finish assemble put up hanger to box, hang fan, install remote control master, wire, put on covers, turn on power and you are ready to go. Is really a good looking great running fan, I did not need to balance as was right on the first time. Got to love it when that happens

Beautiful looking fan. The brackets used to attach the fan blades adds a unique and elegant look to the overall fan. Having installed many different fans from different manufacturers this was the most complicated and would have been the most difficult fan to install had I not altered the directions. According to the directions you assemble the entire fan, including the fan blades first, set it into the ceiling mounting bracket, and then wire it to the house and receiver. I chose to install the fan blades and the fly wheel after doing the wiring. This also kept the overall weight manageable for one person to do the install. The ceiling canopy is deep enough to hide the wires without having to tuck them all into the ceiling. Because I chose to alter the install directions it left me room to do the wiring without fighting the blades. The light is bright white and does not cast a yellow hue. Simple and easy to use remote.

So happy with this purchase, completed the look in our sons room! Works and looks amazing!

Bought this to replace a Hampton Bay fan in my office purchased in 2007 that suddenly started to wobble and groan. Install was fairly easy. It's a really good looking fan and the dimmable light is very bright on high. Despite what other reviewers have said the receiver for the remote fits easily in the area at the top of the mounting bracket. Unfortunately when started up it produced a loud hum that was very annoying. A little research led me to believe the problem was my ceiling electrical box was not designed for a ceiling fan install. While it was secure it was hard mounted directly to ceiling joist. I added some vibration dampening material between bracket and electrical box and it made all the difference in the world. Low and Med speed are now totally silent. There is just a hint of a hum on Hi but it is mostly masked by the sound of the rushing air. Would have rated it 5 stars if direction could be controlled by remote. Would recommend to others.

I'm glad that the Petersford 52 in. Integrated LED Indoor White Ceiling Fan wasn't my first ceiling fan, because it came with absolutely no instructions whatsoever. With a bit of previous experience I got it together OK, but still went to the Home Depot website and downloaded the assembly instructions, just to make sure. Good thing Home Depot usually has downloadable instructions. The fan is very silent and runs smoothly. I came with a balancing kit, which I didn't need to use. The LED light is bright with a warm light color, but it doesn't illuminates a room well, it's more of a spot light. Also, there is a delay of about 2 seconds until the light comes on, which can be annoying. The blades are smooth white on one side and white with a grey wood texture on the other side. Good to have choices without having to pay extra for it. Besides the blades, all parts are metal and not just cheap plastic.

Purchased this ceiling fan a couple of weeks ago. Love the style and low profile features. Installation was a breeze. Also love the remote and how quite it runs. Was able to purchase at a reasonable price.

The Peterson 52-inch indoor white ceiling fan was easy to install and a good performer. It has clear instructions, standard bracket type mounting, it should take about a half hour to put in place. The blades attached easily to an outer rim, and you then install the rim with blades onto the motor with screws, so you did not have to install the blades individually to the motor, I like that. It also looks great as you don’t see the individual arms mounting to the fan motor. The unit comes with a remote control, and the controller is a tight fit in the mounting bracket, but it does fit. The remote control is a bit large, but functional. I would have preferred a white remote to match the white fan, but it was black. Remote can operate both the fan, selecting on/off and one of three speeds, and the light with on/off and dimming capability. Light is a 17 watt LED unit that easily attaches and has a white acrylic lense. It puts out plenty of light and dims down without hum or flicker. No noticeable hum from fan motor, which has a lifetime warranty and is reversible. Fan has three speeds and is suitable for rooms up to 20x20 feet. It generated an ample flow of air. The fan looks classy and modern at the same time. Very clean look with the integrated LED light.
