I love this fan, stylish, powerful, no wobbling. Easy to install. Worth every penny!

Nice fan, easy for me to set up. Took maybe an hour after I read the instructions. Only issues I saw was the is no 3rd wire to run to a light switch. My wife would like a separate switch for the fan and a separate switch for the light on the wall, since the kids always misplaced all existing remotes. You need that 3rd wire to the light to make this happen and there is only a black and white wire. Other than that it's a great fan.

Very elegant fan that was no more difficult to set up than normal fans. Pretty happy.

Great fan, quiet, smooth running at all speeds. Unlike other reviews, my blades fit just fine and did them last, after I hung the fan up.

This fan is very unigue in design. It moves alot of air even on low speed. Its incredibily quiet and operates smoothly. The only problem i had was the first unit failed quickly and it was a pain to return it and take the chance on a second fan. The second fan worked without any issues. I am very pleased.

I too enountered a hard time to install all five of blades to the motor. I cannot put the last blade to the motor. What is the secret to it?

This fan is absolutely beautiful. Over the years, I have installed numerous fans for myself, friends, and family - in fact, I just installed two Harbor Breeze fans for my mother-in-law just a few days ago. I’ve also installed Air Minka fans in the past, however this was the MOST difficult installation of fan blades to the motor I have EVER encountered. I get that they are to have a seamless appearance, but there is a LOT of pushing, pulling, tugging, and banging to just get the holes to line up! Imagine being on a ladder, the motor is rotating as you’re trying to hold the blade with one hand and screw in the small screw with a magnatized screwdriver, and the holes just don’t line up OR, better yet, the holes aren’t even threaded so the screw won’t seat properly. Poor engineering and design all around - yet the fan is beautiful in appearance!

I do not understand all the complaints about installation. Hanging the motor was no different than any other. Tested before blade install and was good. Assembly of blades to brackets straight forward. Four of the 5 blade are normally installed as with any other fan. The last blade involved a little more finesse to get the last bracket to set properly over the adjacent blade screws on the other brackets. The blade mounts should be loose allowing minimal sag. Once in place install the last screws. I found the stayed in place without having to juggle a screw with driver in the bracket. Tighten all screws after and moved onto the light which was very easy. So in the end it turned out no different then all the other fans I dealt with.

I bought 4 of these ceiling fans. I love the unique design and color. The motor is very quiet and keeps the room cool.

Bought 7, had 5 installed, Electrician said it was the most complicated fan he had ever worked with. 2 are defective and make noise. Home Depot won't help on the issue. Calling Minka Aire. Have previously purchased Minka Aire and been happy, this model looks great and give off a lot of air. If you are installing yourself and not paying someone by the hour/job, it might be worth the risk to buy a couple and install. The 3 that I have that are not defective work great and are very attractive. The other 2 make horrible noises or won't work on a speed faster than 4.

Glad HomeDepot takes returns. This fan was simple to install. You should know the fan and light operate off of one switch and you can not split the function into two switches. The fan and light are controlled via the remote only. After 3 days of use on speed 2 we changed the speed and the motor stopped being able to spin the fan in either direction It is acting as though one of the three phases have quit working. The fan will rotate slowly in the selected direction for only a few degrees, will stop, reverse back and stop. It is unable to continue the rotation. This was a poor product experience and a good experience with customer service from our local HomeDepot.

First of all, I had zero problem installing the blades. Instruction clearly states do not tighten blade mount screws until all the blades are installed and aligned up. I did however installed them before hanging it on to the ceiling thinking it would be a difficult install based on the reviews. Hardest part was replacing the bracket. Love the design and low profile makes it suitable for lower ceilings. Very quiet and remote works well. Only downside is the light isn't bright enough for my liking but I knew that was coming because I've read the specs before purchasing it.

Easy to assemble if you put the blades on first. Great design that puts out a tremendous amount of air.

Only having the online information and not seeing an actual sample of this fan, I was slightly apprehensive that it wouldn't work out. But it looks perfect in our family room. The electrician told us the Minka Aire fans are a quality product. This particular one is modern and stylish. It has six speeds and each setting runs smooth. We are very happy with this purchase!

Somewhat easy, read the instructions. It gets a little tricky but if you pay attention it go smoothly. It does move a lot of air. Even on low. The remote is a nice touch especially if you don’t have the switch set up to light and fan separately.

great looking fan and boy can it blow

I was so impressed with it, I went back and got 2 more! A little more assembly than most ceiling fans but was not so difficult. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Love the remote and the quality appears very solid. I'm amazed how quiet it is and much appreciate that aspect. Highly recommend.

I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be bright enough, but it’s perfect! The sleek design makes a statement that transforms “yeah, it’s a ceiling fan” to “what a cool ceiling fan!” The design is sleek and elegant and worth it. It is a bit pricey for not being a smart fan, but the design makes up for it. The fan is soooo silent. I’m really glad we took the time to install all the blades loosely before tightening them all in place, it helped to ensure a well-balanced design out of the box without any need to balance it. No noise, no wobbling. Just a nearly perfect modern fan. Another minor gripe is that the remote has an up and down light button that would normally control a fan with lights both on top and down below. Alas, this model only has a light under the fan, so both the up and down light buttons function the exact same. Even if the manufacturer wanted to reuse the same remote, holding UP should always make the light brighter, and holding DOWN should always make the light dimmer. That’s not the case. For example, if you are going from dark to bright, and pause at 50% brightness, you have to reach 100% brightness to turn the light back down. Kind of a pain, but at this price point, they should sweat these details.

I purchased this fan two weeks ago at my local Home Depot. Went to install it today and when assembling it realized the downrod was not vertical. In fact it was more than 15 degrees off vertical. Whoever made the junction plate that holds the downrod to the top of the motor , and let it go should be fired. Also, like many other reviewers, it is challenging to fit the blades to the motor. Absolutely do it on the ground before hanging the fan, it is so much easier that way. I will be returning mine and buying a different model. Shame, the design is very cool!

Bought this for a master bedroom due tonits high cfm. Very very quiet, no motor hum. The air movement is not just a downward thrust, the air moves around the wals and everywhere and is very comfortable
