Definitely filters out light. Not a black out, but very close. Easy to use. Seems to be solid construction

Wonderful product!! Easy to install, easy to use and looks great when shade is fully extended or rolled closed. We out shade over a very high entrance 2 part window. One arched and the other large rectangular. The first shade looked and worked so great, I purchased a second for the arched window!

These are SO cool with the motors. I have them programmed to all go down at one time at night, and back up in the morning.

These cellular shades are affordable, easy to install and look great. The two shades we purchased and installed do a great job of blocking early morning sunlight for our son's room. He is very happy to be able to sleep in!

I really like these shades. I prefer them over heavy vinyl blinds that block out tons of light, even when open. These move up and out of the way easily, and I love that there are no cords involved. I could see them being damaged by little children if they were left down a lot, but since ours are up unless they are sleeping, we haven’t had too much issue so far. They are easy to install and very lightweight. When you first get them, sometimes they stick on the sides and you just have to gently tug to pull them apart so they look nice and even.

Easy to install. Shopped around. A blind store quoted us over 4k to do the whole house! I paid 600.00 total. They look great and I actually prefer this brand over an expensive blind in my bathroom. The other blind has a push button when closing or opening and sometimes get stuck. This blind is a simple push or pull down. My son-in-law installed for me. The 1st one was a bear to install but after that he installed 12 blinds in an hour and half.

Very lightweight. Blocks out the light. Light does come through a little around the edges of the window but not bothersome. Room is much darker than before with the shade down. I bought 2 and put them next to eachother because it's such a large window. I would give it a 5 if it would've come the the bottom clip the let's you lift the shade without having to use your nails when it's all the way down. I'll be ordering another one.

The product sent to us does not have any brackets or screws included. Checked outside and inside the box, also removed the head rail cover to check. We’ll be returning this product.

I installed two of these blinds in about 5 minutes each. The brackets are the "clip in" style I've seen multiple times so there was no learning curve. We got the room darkening version and they work well with minimal light bleeding around the side. I could have got rid of most of that by installing the blinds closer to the window.

Great, easy to install, but hard to remove.

Shades are trimmed to size in store so measure your window cut out beforehand. Not that bad to I stall once you do one or two. Blackout keep the sun out but one pull up and and you let the light in. No cords. I like them so much that bought fir other windows over a year later.

These Blackout shades are excellent! For years, I've had cardboard cut-outs in my windows to block out the morning light. These come in a large array of stock sizes (every 1/4" width) and three lengths. Significantly cheaper than custom order products, and any of the plethora of stock sizes is fully returnable at local store. Very impressed.

Shade works well and seems sturdy. However, I had bought a darker color for comparison as well and the darker color had more texture in the cellular material and just looked of higher quality. I went with the white because it matched my room better, but both the texture of the cellular shade and the white plastic makes it seem "visually" of lesser quality. Good price though compared to ordered blinds.

Very easy to install, the quality of the product is great! I wish home Depot employees could cut them and size them a little neater. One of the shades I bought has a jagged edge.

I don't think you can beat $55 for a decent 48"x48" cellular shade. They're fairly effective as a blackout shade (especially if you add something to help with the sun peeking around the sides). And they do look nice. But... My biggest complaint: WHY NO HANDLES?! Seriously. The shades are nearly impossible to raise up without a handle when they're lowered all the way to the sill because you cannot get enough purchase on the lower rail in order to grab it and lift up -- unless, of course, you get them cut narrow enough that you can fit a finger between the lower rail and sill... which totally defeats the purpose of installing blackout shades. I asked a HD person about it and they said they specifically order them that way (it's a 50 cent part, for crying out loud). And I've been searching in vain for a handle. If anyone else figures out the handle issue, let me know. I'll update this review if I find something. Otherwise, I won't buy them again.

Great product for the price, however - THE BEST part is the EASE in how these go up (install) super easy and they look great. We had ours cut to size in store for a perfect fit

The shade installed as directed, and does the job. Smooth movement by hand up and down. Purchased one for the guest bedroom. Will probably get two more for mine.

Shade works great on our entry door window. It gives us the privacy we need during the evening hours, yet during the daytime pushes back up to the top and we have no cords or shade sticks in the way during entry and exit. We have purchased these blinds before for our bedroom and continue to be very happy with them.

I installed 3 yesterday. The operation of raising and lowering them is very smooth. They block light very well, except with inside mount light comes around the ends. If you mount them inside you will find there is no easy way to start raising them, there is no handle. I purchased a pack of 3M Command mini hooks and put 1 on each of the 27 x 72 units, and 2 on the 37 x 72 unit.

These were very easy to install and made the windows look absolutely stunning I would definitely buy more for my homes other windows.

We love the cordless and stringless blinds. Overall, they were easy to install and look great. They give a room a more classy look. We've had them a couple of weeks and are completely satisfied.

Great product, highest quality, very simple to install, anyone with an electric drill and a screwdriver can do it. I did 7 windows of different sizes and averaged about 30 mins. per, result was very good and my partner gave me a 10 and I give the shades a 10.

These work great for blocking light and are an easy install. See added pic for comparison to normal mini blinds.

Easy to install. Quality made. Happy with the product! Did have to order 2 shades online as the store did not have the amount I needed originally so beware when ordering size. I asked for 58 1/2 and ended up with 57.625. Ordering them at 59 was the proper order but even with that being said my order should have been 58 so on top off my slight error they compounded it by taking off another 1/2 inch. Have to return but overall the 3 I have installed are well worth the install and price.
