Easy to install but often hampered by small bits of the tabs that easily break off while simply moving the pieces around or unboxing them. These pieces get in the grooves and mess up the spacing if the joints. Also many pieces weren't matte, but a shinier finish than others, more like a semi gloss. When the light shines across the floor you can see the difference and it looks quite bad.

Horrible floor. Scratches very easily with moderate traffic. My furniture has felt on it's footings and the scratches on the floor are deep. I now have rugs under all my furniture to prevent more mars on my floor. ---Not happy with the product. Home Depot tried to assist me with getting a refund from the manufacturer, but Home Legend claims that scratches are not covered under their warranty.

The "click" was not as positive as some other brands I've put down and there were a lot of blonde shades and we weren't exactly expecting to get that, it wasn't a big issue. We were just expecting to get what it looked like in the store display and what the picture on the description looks like.

Unbelievably beautiful - Great quality and easy to install. Used throughout our home in SW Florida. No issues even after having it down for over a year. Everyone who has come into our home has complimented the look of the floor. With FloorMuffler underlayment it feels great.

So much to talk about... First, you will note there is a really wide range of opinions on this product, from "this is the worst thing in the entire world, my life is ruined" to "there is nothing better on the entire planet". The problem is that this review section has lumped together reviews for five different product lines. Please make note of which product the reviewer is talking about (the site makes note over on the right side of the review if the review does not apply to this exact product). If the review is not for this exact product "Matte Natural Acacia 3/8 in. Thick x 5 in. Wide x Varying Length Click Lock Hardwood Flooring", ignore it. This product is from a new line that's only like 2 years old. Now for the actual review - this is, hands down, one of the best deals on the market for hardwood flooring. At this price, you will not find a better product. I have years of experience with all kinds of hardwood flooring and I can not believe the price point on this stuff. To be clear - this is not top of the line flooring, it definitely has it's flaws. But this price point is generally reserved for clearance house printed vinyl, not true engineered hardwood. Let alone the fact that this stuff is every bit as beautiful as top-of-the-line $15/sqft exotic solid hardwood. Quality - i'm currently 900sqft into a 1500sqft install and have yet to find a single unusable plank. Quality is consistent and packaging is good. HD did manage to destroy two boxes which they are re-ordering, and that's going to suck because it took a month and a half to get the original order, but i'm hoping those boxes will end up being spares anyway. Durability - i'm having trouble seeing where the complaints about scratches come from. First, if you have dogs you DO NOT WANT HARDWOOD. Period. I don't care if it's classic oak or ultra-hard IPE. It will get scratched, and it will get dented. If you have dogs and want your flooring to stay nice, get vinyl or tile. Hardwood is for adults who can reasonably enforce a "shoes off" policy. After reading all these reviews about easy scratching, I decided to test a couple planks myself. I was unable to make a lasting mark in any way. Fingernail, car key, piece of crushed stone...none made so much as an un-removable scuff. Finally, yesterday, my install was field-tested when a six-cell mag lite that I was replacing batteries in rolled off the countertop. The tail cap was off and of course it landed that end down, at an angle, so that the cut metal edge hit first, and all the batteries spilled out. It did make a dent, a 2x1mm impression that I could only find after using the light from that flashlight and looking at just the right angle. So my evaluation is that this wood is as scratch and dent resistant as the toughest solid hardwoods. But remember, as I said, it is wood, so it WILL scratch and dent over time. If that's a problem, go with vinyl or tile. Install - One thing you won't find dissenting opinions on is ease of install. It's about as easy as it gets. Couple of suggestions - make sure you have new finish-blades on your miter saw and table saw, and make sure you allow the saws to get up to speed before contacting the wood because it's really easy to splinter the super-thin top layer. Also, the click-lock system is designed to work ONE WAY (left to right, tongue facing installer) and if you have to go any other way it is hugely frustrating (although possible). I had to do the first four rows in the largest room of this install backwards due to walls being staggered and it was really difficult. I can't imagine having to do an entire install that way so take care to start off right (or maybe I should say "left"). So in conclusion, as long as you are looking at the exact product I am reviewing, you can discount the bad reviews and just assume that those buyers have no clue. This is a fantastic product.

This has been the best purchase we have ever made at Home Depot. We have bought several hardwoods and multiple versions of carpet. Not once have we been disappointed with any of them, but our satisfaction of these hardwoods are better than expected. We are now 4 years with these floors, with hardly any scratches, even with dogs and kids, no boards have needed to be replaced, no buckling, no low spots, and absolutely beautiful even to this day. We only have used Bona Hardwood cleaner on them, with no need for wax or any other special treatment. The few scratches we did have were easily fixed with furniture markers. Everyone loves our floors.

        Easy install and nice colors
Probably the easiest install ever. Nice rich warm wood. My only complaint so far is the overwhelming amount of short pieces vs long pieces.

NICE PRODUCT BUT WHY THE INCREASE IN PRICE
Bought a case to see if we would like the product and compare to a similar product with the same Acacia wood. For the price at $1.89/sq ft it was great. Apprx 1 month later, we decided to order the product but found out that HD increased the price to $2.99/sq ft. WHAT!!!!! Not happy with HD. That is why I am giving a lower rating. So not sure if we will go with a competitor or not. Still deciding....

          good purchase
Does not go as far as it says. Very little if any waste and fell way short. Checked and rechecked measurements and still came up short. Put underlayment down and had enough with sq footage I figured which begins me to question sq footage on box. Otherwise satisfied just didn't like spending another 39.00 for 4 more boxes.

          average material for a premium
This click and stick kinda flooring is relatively easy to install. The problem is that the Cocoa Acacia comes in 16/24/32/48" planks. but you never know what is in the packages you order. There is no way to establish some kind of pattern since the sizes are randomly packaged. Especially the 24" seems to be missing. Even though they give you about 2mm of Cocoa Acacia, there still are a lot of defects in the material. Holes. scratches or gouges . The overall floor looks OK, but if the sun hits an area, it makes it it a lot lighter and I'm worried that over time it will fade significantly.
