I’m not a painter, but this spray gun made me feel like one. I’m not a fan of, nor do I have the patience for a paint brush. I sprayed painted (primmer) 3 old dilapidated fiberglass ladders in about an hour. It would had taken me all day with a paint brush. Next I’ll be spraying them with paint. I’m actually looking forward to it. I wouldn’t paint a wall or a room etc with it. However, It sure is great for furniture and things with nooks and crannies. I ordered an extra container along with the 3 additional tips and the quick cleanup hose, I’m ready to rock n’ roll. I also bought some disposable paint strainers (very important). I recommend reading and understanding the instructions and get painting tips from additional sources. Good luck.

Used on built in adjustable closet shelving/hanger system. Worked like a charm. Spray pattern had great coverage. Better than I expected. If I had to hand brush and roll it would have taken a lot longer. Glad I got it

I used the sprayer on a small cabinet project using some left over interior Behr paint. The sprayer worked great and was easy to clean.

I'd never used a paint sprayer before. Based on a recommendation from a woodworking web site, and various reviews, I decided to give this one a try. It's been fantastic. The instructions were easy to understand and using it is quite easy, with a little practice. I found that it is best to dilute my latex paint 20:1. That is, add about 5% water to thin the paint. It goes on easily and nicely. Clean up is no worse than with brushes. Certainly a thumbs-up!

After I got it dialed in it worked well. Clean up was a breeze compared to washing rollers and brushes ect. I used hot soapy water to clean inside the gun with a brush. It wasn’t hot enough to burn my hands but apparently it was hot enough to cause the large gasket that seals the tank on to loose its shape and fall out. I was not able to reseat the gasket so unfortunately I had to return the sprayer.

Works excellent, however not easy to clean.

I've owned two HomeRight sprayers, which I've used exclusively for the application of sealant. This model is at least 2 pounds lighter than the first which really matters when you have several hundred feet of wood fence to spray.

Worked great for the first couple uses, and now is just blowing air. Tried all the troubleshooting steps to try to fix it and wont work at all.. Very upset, had it for only 30 days and cleaned thoroughly after every use..

Very happy with purchase. There is a 2 stage trigger. First for air, second for paint. Don’t just pull the trigger back and start spraying, you won’t be happy. Also, make sure you use a strainer for impurities, IT’S A MUST, yes even for brand new paint! Take that extra time. Used a Behr enamel diluted (per instructions) and it went on like a dream. Cleaned it really well after each use and had no problems.

I was skeptical at the relatively inexpensive cost of the sprayer. I thinned the primer as recommended and the stain/paint I used did not need thinning. The results were better than expected. The desk is affixed to the wall so the prep work to contain the overspray was time consuming.

I’ve had positive experience with this sprayer. Easy to understand instructions and when to use the various nozzles and caps.

Easy to use and clean. Quality of finish was acceptable for my needs, it did help to thin the latex paint and spray several thin coats rather than one thick coat.

It actually painted really well. Cleanup made the gun not worthwhile.

I have painted cabinets, cabinet doors and drawers. I probably wouldn't paint an automobile with it but for what I do this is the sprayer for me. It is easy to use and clean (a plus). I will try other things to paint and check out the different tips. For the money I do not think you can go wrong.

I really like this sprayer so far. Thinning paint isn’t as tough as it seems. The two disadvantages are the many parts which could get lost or damaged, such as the small nozzles, and the cleanup which is also complicated. But I think the cleanup uses a lot less water than for paint rollers. It won’t entirely replace rollers and trim painting but it’s good for large areas, and almost necessary for painting complex or rough surfaces like concrete or pipes, and this is what I bought it for. I plan to use it for thin final coats too.

It’s ok sprayer. It keeps on splattering and clogging.

Exceded for the use I got it for. Sprayed a Cornhole set with Shellac as a base and then when finished sprayed three coats of Min-wax Polycrylic. Beautiful smooth finish. Could use adjustment for the pressure it creates, it still has good amount of overspray. Easy to use and clean sprayer. Will use more often now !!!

Great product for fence painting!

This is a great paint sprayer. So far I have used it for exterior staining projects. It makes short work of painting large areas compared to roller or brush painting. It has good adjustments and nozzle selections, and is pretty easy to clean after use. Highly recommended.

I tried all tips, still getting the orange peel finish.

I bought this paint gun to do the exterior of my house. Not really expecting this gun to do a whole lot because the price tag was rather INEXPENSIVE and usually being let down with performance in the past. This gun is hands down the best I’ve ever owned. Performance was spectacular and it shoots fabulous. A novice could operate it and get professional results. Thank you.

This is my first sprayer so I can not compare to other ones. I found it easy to learn how to use it and clean it. I am getting better at spraying the furniture with the clear coat. I never used one before, so this is a learning experience for me. I do like it.
