Doesn’t work. Just pulled it out of the box, followed the setup instructions, and after running for 24 hours there is no sign it is working. Not a single drop in the bucket. No change in the humidity. The fan is running but the condenser is not.

We are sorry to hear this ! There could be multiple reasons for the unit to not function as it should have . The humidity level setting could be too high. A door or window is open, letting in new moisture. There could be other sources of humidity in the room (e.g. boiling water in pot). The dust filter is dirty/blocked.
Also, the dehumidifier is designed to operate between 41°F (5°C) and 89°F (32°C). Moisture removal is greatly reduced if room temperatures exceed this temperature range.

After completing the set function, the unit will need to be programmed again for auto on/off. This function cannot be performed in loop. The unit was easy to install. My only qualm is the water container is pretty small (about 1/2 gallon). That means I have to dump it several times a day. I could add a hose, but haven't gotten that far yet.

The frequency with which you would need to empty the water tank, depends upon the hours of usage, level of humidity in the room and so on. The water tank was smaller than I envisioned, my problem. Also the removal of the tank is problematic given its design. Otherwise, the dehumidifier is performing and doing what I hope it would do.

Doesn't remove as much moisture as my old 30 pint. I would get the next size up if I had it to do all over again. Typical 21st century nonsense, specs suspect. Very quiet operation.

My basement is 1500 sq ft. This was advertised to be good for 1500 sq ft. After a month it has only been able to drop the humidity by 18 points. I really doubt this can do 30 pints.

It is smaller than the one I replaced. The reservoir is smaller so we hooked up drain hose. It has been working well and has done a good job of removing humidity from the basement. It definitely uses less energy than the old one, saw that in my last 2 electric bills. The only negative is that the filter light comes on, I check the filter but its not dirty. Its easy to reset by pushing filter button and light goes off, but I don't know how long it will continue to run with the light on if I'm not here to reset. I would still recommend this unit, its dehumidifying about 1500 sq ft. and doing it well.

In following the manufacture recommendation, I chose this model. It did not work out for a 1000 sq ft basement. The unit was to small. The unit is not made by Honeywell but by another company under a license agreement to use the Honeywell name.Returned for larger unit. Nice features.
