It's small. It's black. It's made of plastic. It has red wires coming out of one end. It wasn't expensive, and isn't heavy. So far it has done no one any harm.

I didn’t need the Hunter Solenoids. Found the short in the wiring and sprinklers work fine now!

Worked just fine. These things seem to only last about a year before the rubber starts decaying. Must be the hard water.

worked! if there is a zone not working, go to the location where you have the solenoid... slightly turn it... if the zone comes on, then more than likely bad solenoid. go to youtube and find out to change out... you will need special caps.
