Didn't work on Kitchen Counter calk removal
I purchased this tool for a calk removal and replace project in our kitchen, it was a waste of $$. The original clear calking was about 20 years old. This tool was non-functional in cutting or pulling out the calk. Instead I used a Husky metal scraper (in the photo) that was able to scrape old calk from the horizontal and vertical parts of the counter, as well as pull the calk from deep inside the cracks. I would not recommend this product to anyone working on a similar kitchen counter project.

Husky 3-in-1 Caulk Tool Was Worthless
The edges of the metal "V" blades were blunt and the inside edges were burred so it would not begin to cut through caulk. I removed the burrs and beveled the inside edge which made it somewhat better. However when trying to cut through old caulk, the plastic, dual pin fastener that holds the metal blade to the handle popped out rendering it useless. These pins are 1/8" long and only extend into the handle 3/32". I suspect they were supposed to be glued or high frequency welded. Apparently neither were done properly.

    Works in Some SItuations
For the comparatively low price, I wouldn't mind buying one of these and using it where and when it is appropriate. But, I found that it doesn't work in all caulking situations. When it does, it can work well. And, when it doesn't work well there are better alternatives. What I like about it: Stainless steel remover blade. It's stiff and has a sharp edge that digs into and under the caulk to a point. It digs well into wide bead caulk line. The plastic scraper won't mar porcelain or other easily scratched surfaces. The smoother has three radii appropriate for any smaller joint size and it's silicon which means no caulk will stick or adhere after curing. What I didn't like about it: Remover blade didn't work so well in the case of my whirlpool tub caulking which had a narrow bead and very small lip on tub. It could only remove some of the caulk on the tile and the lip of the tub. Scraper blade is a hard plastic. But I'd hesitate to use it with great force, like that needed to removed caulking from rough sawn siding trim prior to recaulk an paint job. The smoothing tool is in what for me is an awkward angle to use freely and, I've mastered the wet finger caulking technique and find it superior and easier than any caulking applicator tool. Less fuss and less bother. As I mentioned in the first paragraph, this tool is inexpensive and CAN be useful. So, pick one up if you think it might help in your situation. But, I don't see it always working better than an alternative.

I usud to use a wetted finger but never again!
This tool makes it quite easy to smooth the results of a caulking effort without getting messy and extra cleanup. It comes with 3 different radii of squeegee on a rubber platen that takes a bit of effort to move and restore, but it's a workable device for the job. It also includes a flat plastic putty-knife-like projection for smoothing, and the best part (to me) is the cutting knife for removing old material. It's a combination knife and scoop and makes short work of removing the undesired material. Nice tool for many tasks.

Handy Okay Husky Tool. Mostly Gets the Job Done.
Seems like a nice design that should do better than I was able to get it to. Minimal packaging. Not the best quality- plastic scraper isn’t as smooth as it should be. Steel caulk remover is sharp but doesn’t seem to reach far enough to get under and peel/cut caulk regardless of angle, leaves a small amount of caulk along corner, might just need more use to get the right feel, or it's the tool design. The scraper seems more in the way using caulk removal end and not very effective as angling is limited by removal end. Underside of handle has splotch of white and irregular lines, not a big deal. Rubber smoother had thin pieces along edge that needed to be trimmed off. Like the rotating adjusts of spreader. that performs well. Overall, an economical okay tool that hopefully can perform better with use.

    Just Another Caulking Tool
The Husky 3-in-1 caulking tool is slightly better than others because the removal blade is metal. It doesn't work pushing forward but does just okay pulling back on it. The caulk sticks to the smoothing end and needs to be kept wet. If you really want a caulk tool I'd say try this one, but since none really haven't satisfied me I would not recommend any of them.

    The perfect caulk tool!
I really like this Husky 3-in-1 Caulk Tool. I have tried others in the past that just didn’t perform as well as this one. The plastic scraper is stiff enough to work well and doesn’t scratch surfaces. The caulk remover also works well. I found it worked much better to drag the tool towards me rather then push it. The silicone bead smoother rotates to give you a 1/8 3/16 or 1/4 inch bead. I found it helpful to keep a damp rag handy for when silicone starts to build up on the bead smoother. I found the size of the 3/1 tool perfect for my larger sized hands.

This HUSKY 3-in-1 Caulk Tool is simple, but it works.
I would never admit it but getting older I am having trouble doing a nice-looking caulking job by using my finger to smooth out the caulk. I came across this HUSKY 3-in-1 Caulking Tool and said why not, can't be any worse than using my finger to finish out the caulk. In my shop I have a roughed in vinyl window that was never finished. It had old rough looking caulk so I used the HUSKY 3-in-1 tool to remove old caulk, I had my doubts if it would work but getting the feel of the tool it done a good job of digging out the old and finish with the scraper on the too; next I used my caulking gun with some latex caulk and laid a small strip in the area to be caulked, next used the HUSKY 3-in-1 tool to smooth down the caulk in one pass using the 1/8in. tip. I am very happy with the finished job, but I see the more you use the HUSKY 3-in-1 Caulking Tool the better the outcome.

    3-in-1 Caulk Tool
I used the Husky 3-in-1 caulk tool to remove and replace caulking in my shower and was pleased with its functionality although it didn't fully live up to the description. It includes a stainless steel caulk remover that really did a nice job of digging out old caulking from around the shower pan. It also has a plastic scraper to help remove excess caulking. On the opposite end of the tool is a rubber caulk smoother to level out beads of new caulking. The packaging says that the smoother rotates to the desires result but It must have been redesigned to that it is a fixed plastic that does not rotate, but that didn't seem to deter me from getting the job done.

    Interesting Design
I have to say I have never used anything like this before. I typically scrape out old caulk with a razor blade and apply it using my finger. This tool has a creative rotating spreader that can provide a consistent radius to the caulk when used. The grip is comfortable. This does take some getting use to to get it just right but it can be an asset to get those perfect caulk lines in noticeable areas.

    Great caulk remover
I didn’t know they made this tool . I redo my bath caulk once every year and always had to scrap it off with a chisel and usually scrap the tub while doing it. This tool is going to be easy to use since the blade is shaped for the crack and is very sharpe. The other end can be adjusted depending how wide you want the caulk to be when you spread it. Very very nice tool.

    Great tool!
Every homeowner should have this tool. Every homeowner is going to have to remove and/or replace caulk eventually. This tool gives you the easiest and most effective way to remove cured caulk from crevices. There is also a flat scraper for removing caulk from glass and other flat surfaces. For applying caulk like a pro, there is the triangular, squeegee that smooths freshly applied caulk perfectly. I highly recommend!

    Broke in the first use
For something that's supposed to tear caulk out, you would think it would have more sturdy construction. The metal scraper is held in (barely) by 2 plastic clips. There is also a straight scraper, which is made of plastic. The straight scraper is wearing out quickly, and the plastic clips keep popping out of the metal scraper.

It works but it had to be modified.
This broke on first window I used it on. The blade is plastic welded to the handle. I modified it by drilling out the handle and using screws to mount the blade (see photo). It worked much better after that. It does technically do what it is supposed to do, just much lighter duty than what I'm using it for, I guess.

Scraping tool doesn’t work; got better results from a razor blade.

The concept is good, but better options. The rubber tip for smoothing the grout is hard to turn and using your finger or a separate tool better. The angled cutting edge to remove grout is not very effective nor is the straight edge. Bottom line - do better with razor blade cutting tool and utility box knife.

Not Necessary, 5 in 1 Painter Tool is Better
This does not help remove small beads of silicon bath caulk. The caulk tooler is unnecessary because a finger on your hand works better. I regret buy this and I do not recommend it. Other local retailers had this same tool under different label / brand name.

Great tool. The scrapper and smoother were very effective and I’m sure I’ll have use for the remover soon. The only gripe I have is changing the smoother size is not well engineered. You have to remove and rotate it, however with enough silicon/caulk etc. it will get stuck and trying to use the other sizes then becomes a hassle.

So easy to use, much easier than the old red hard plastic ones. Silicone rubber gives a much smoother and cleaner line.

          okay product
Cool product in theory, but not sure it works as well as one would desire it to.

            Very helpful
Helped me remove caulk that was 10 years and 3 years old. Started with a utility knife to loosen the edges and then used the tool to remove the caulk! Smoothing edge worked great when applying new caulk.

I honestly feel like the cheaper option which was a 4-1 tool would have been best for my job. Not knocking it but it did not spread the caulk bead evenly.
