I have been buying Husky brand shelving for a few years now and nothing seems to compare. However, sometimes, Husky might be a bit "too husky" for what I'm trying to organize and store. So, I was really excited to see that someone there came up with a less rugged, less expensive alternative to their free-standing shelving. Here's how it works: Everyone that's ever been to Home Depot knows that that have a line of black and yellow bins that are amazing. They're sturdy, they're affordable and they come in several sizes. I personally have bunches of these and in every size that they make. I use them because they protect whatever is inside very well and keep the contents 100% clean. So now, Husky developed a system where you install this simple Horizontal Wall Track and then you hang Vertical Rails on them as needed. Once that's in place, you can use their shelf brackets designed to slide those black and yellow bins right into and away from any potential flooding. You can also hang wire shelving or hooks onto the track. I've taken a couple of pictures for people to see my installation. They're sort of like "Before & After" shots. I'm not totally finished with the installation yet because I intend to add more brackets to hang more bins on. Once that's done, I intend to line one of my garage walls with them. If you've made it this far, trust me ... this system is just GREAT! You'll love it.

This is a really cool wall system. I bought the utility basket and a metal basket. It installed in like 10 minutes and is super useful. I actually just order several more hooks, baskets and another track. All the pieces seem to be of good quality and pretty sturdy. I’m not putting anything heavy in the baskets but I think they will hold a fair amount of weight. Super happy with this system.

I have just bought a house that is in decrepit condition waiting for a helping hand to bring it back to its original glory. One of the aspects of the remodeling is the garage and this system is just what I needed to bring it back to its glory. I wanted an organized space and this 84 inch track will keep everything in its place and stored handily for myself.

Really nice, inexpensive track system. Note that this 48" model does require that you have studs 48" apart - the manual says this is a important, and I could see the rack coming off the wall if you only attached it in the middle for some reason. It includes 8 wood screws for attaching the track, so that's two every 16". One little tip: the white logo cover appears like it must slide in and out from the side, and I struggled to get it out this way when getting the rack ready for installation. It turns out, however, that you can just snap it in and out of the rack. Just use a little force. It's hard to find any fault with this track, but I will say the accessories are pretty expensive, so if you intend to load it up with hooks, expect to pay a lot more than you did for just the cost of the track itself.

The Husky 84 inc Garage Wall Track System a quick and easy way to organize and get item off the floor. We have an existing rail system but it is very limited. We are going to hang the 84 inch wall track rail below the other one for larger items, there are plenty of accessories to add from other size hooks to baskets. They unit can be installed quickly, it must begin and end in a stud. Once it is finished, it is ready to accessorize., Super functional system.

This is a very good 48 inch garage wall track that is easy to use and easier to install. It comes with the hardware required to complete the install. It does have to be installed on studs so a stud finder is very handy for location placement. You must remove the white cover plate to find the instructions and expose the metal hanger holes. There are numinous holes so it was easy to find three holes with16 inch centers and then screw in 6 screws. Snap in the white cover and you are ready to hang accessories. Placed this in my garage and it is very helpful in keeping my garage organized.

Another great Home Depot / Husky product. Right now I only have the one piece, I am think of doing the entire wall to give me flexibility and a great looking wall. This is high quality steel that has a cover to put over the screws for a supper clean look. This is very easy to install and lots of holes to put the screws in so I would not worry too much about spacing, you will be able to put screws into the studs. This does come with plenty of screws and the cover pops off and on with minimal effort. Looks like there is a wide selection of hangers that will meet my needs today and well into the future and because the rail stays put my garage wall will not be full of holes as my needs change.

The Husky 84 inch garage wall track system is by far the absolute best track you can buy. compared to all of the other top name brands, the Husky stands out with it's sturdy design and baked on finish. Remove the white insert to find the instructions and screws...Once you have found the studs on the walls (if they are hiding behind drywall) you attach it using the included screws and snap the white insert back in to hide them for a clean install. I am going to order more and replace the frustrating Ru883rma1d system I have now.

Simple install -- just mount with the included screws into several studs and you're all set. The decorative cover snaps easily in place to hide the screw heads. For once included hardware is quality material; the screws are well made and the heads don't strip, even with an impact drill. The width of this particular track allows placement of multiple accessories depending on your needs. You can actually use hooks from other brands as well but they may not attach as securely...I use these for lighter items. Definitely an easy and convenient way to organize.

The Husky wall track system is a heavy steel gauge bar that allows you to hang other components of the system. Other parts of the system I've incorporated is the metal tracks (used to hang off of the wall track), self brackets, and a wire metal shelf. The wall track is powder coated in a black finish and easily screws into the wall/studs at common 16 inch spacing. Once screwed in a white cover snaps into place covering the screws for a finished look. Very heavy duty and stable. I look forward to adding more of the collection for increase organization in my garage.

The Husky 48 in. Garage Wall Track System is a great way to organize your garage. It looks sleek when installed. The track is predrilled so it is easy to attach it to studs 16 inchs on center. It come with screws to install it to the studs. When properly install the track can hold up to 100 LBS per linear foot. There is a variety of accessories to install on the track. The track comes in 36 in 48 in and 84 in lengths but you can add multiple tracks as necessary.

The Husky 84 in. Garage Wall Track System is heavy duty steel horizontal track. It's one part of the whole Track System. Can be used in either commercial or home. I'm using it in my garage. You can install it in anywhere. The steel construction is powder coated finish. Reasonably easy to install. I installed it by myself in a few minutes so not bad. In the picture you will see other components as well. The shelving bracket, vertical rails, wire shelf.

The Husky track system is very easy to install. Even the novice of DIY-ers can install this shelving system. All you need is a level, stud finder drill and screwdriver or screw tips for your drill. It took me about 15-20 mins to install entire system pictured. I love how they put slots on the shelf brackets to hold the 27” black and yellow storage boxes. There are multiple options to choose from. I really like the vertical brackets that can be installed on the wall track system. The entire Husky shelving track system is a very easy to install and huge space saver for my garage. Unless you don’t know what a screwdriver or level is, anyone can install this system. No professional is needed. I recommend this for everyone who is in need of space saving shelving for their already cramped garage.

Everything you want in a wall storage solution. I installed the 48 inch track in the laundry room to help reduce clutter of mops, brooms, furnace air filters, etc. Installed in 5 minutes, organized in 10. Under the plastic cover there are plenty of holes so that you can match to studs easily. Probably the hardest thing was some trial & error locating the studs. The screws come with it, including some of the inserts if you do not use the studs. I wouldn't do that just because drywall crumbles so easily.

Husky 48- inch Garage Wall Track System. This system was easy to install. Pre-drilled for 16-inch and 24-inch stud spacing. All parts are included to complete installation. Slide the white Husky strip off and mount in your desired location. The White Husky strip gives you nice finished look. Will support up to 100 pounds per linear foot. I installed my system on the studs because I also purchased the 4-pack value pack that will cover 9 square feet of wall space so I will have a more finished look when I complete my installation. My photos show the 15-inch basket and the 8-inch wide hook accessories that work very well with this system as well as the Husky Slat Wall Panel.

It is possible that this 84 inch Garage Wall Track system could be used as a stand-along system, but it would not be the most efficient use of the track. As a mount for vertical rails designed to work with this Husky system it provides a convenient support system for hanging vertical rails and/or separate shelf supports. I would say that it provides a stronger system if used in concert with vertical rails.

The nice feature is that is has a plastic thick cover that slides over the back plate after you have mounted it on the wall that gives it a nice professional look, and not just a bracket on the wall. There are many accessories you can purchase for it also.I would recommend this track system to any contractor that might have a mobile enclosed trailer, or the homeowner for the garage or workshop!

I installed this Husky 84 inch Garage Wall Track in my shed. Installation was super easy since the studs are exposed. After I had the main track up, I placed the cover over the center which hides the screws. This track is very affordable and can be paired with many different accessories. My shed is pretty large and thanks to shelves and this track system I have been able to maximize the space. If you have a shed or garage, this is a great way to bring some organization to it at an amazing price.

I received the track rail from husky it is very well made it holds a good amount of weight. It is very well finished no problems no scratches it is black in color it comes with screws and are very long and they hold tight it has enough for the whole rail it also comes with a white plastic cover so you can conceal the screws and it fits very tight nice overall I definitely recommend it

With all of this extra time at home I have been organizing my garage. I got tired of the pile of stuff behind the garage and thought a system for mounting and hanging things has to be better than what I have been doing. The track is 84 inches long with no breaks or seams so you can put a mounting hook anywhere. The mounting holes ans abut every half inch so getting one lined up on a stud to mount is easy no matter your situation. You then put whatever hook, basket, or mounting type you want and you are done. The mounts are quickly moved so you can fine tune the organization anytime.

I can't say enough good things about this Husky wall track system. I'm amazed how simple the installation was. It can be easily installed with one person in a very short amount of time. The mounting screws are included which is huge plus. It's lightweight but don't let that fool you. It's very well made and solid. You can add additional tracks if you desire. The opportunities are endless. For effective, inexpensive, well made storage this is an outstanding product.

The Husky 48 in. Garage Wall Track System is a perfect way to get organized. Installation only took about 10 minutes and all you need is a few common tools. It does come with eight screws. There is a large vareity of hooks, baskets, screwdriver holders etc.. which can be mounted to the track. The black and white color scheme also matches pretty much any area.

Husky has done it again. This 84 in. Garage Wall Track System is a great idea. It was very easy to hang by myself and I am an old guy. It is highly versatile and I really like the fact that you can slide the accessories wherever you want them and adjust as circumstances change. I put mine in the garage so I can use their 15" basket for my lathe and drill press tools and then I used their 6" L hooks to form a shelf for long pieces of wood.

The track has mounting holes placed 1” apart, this makes hanging the track very easy since most walls have studs at 16” or 24” centers. The track system comes with a full length white slide in cover and 8 - 2” wood screws. The instructions are clear and concise on how to install the track system. This is a great system that's easy to install and has many options for keeping your tools neat and organized.

My husband wanted to redo his entire tool room when he saw this storage system. The durability is phenomenal. All of the endless accessories and endless ways to use them is absolutely amazing. I think I got more excited when we started by hanging the 84" wall track system. No instructions came with any of the pieces, but I found the installation very self explanatory and quite easy to do. Make sure that you attach each end of the horizontal wall track system into a stud. This system holds hundreds of pounds at a time. A simple wall anchor will not support that much weight. The vertical rail clicks right into the horizontal wall track and is made from the same durable and quality material. Then you simply click in the brackets into the vertical rails. After that you can click the wire shelf onto the the horizontal wall track or you can click the wire shelf onto the brackets that you click into the vertical rail. I used the brackets that support the wire shelf and will also hold a tub w/lid at the same time. I do not have the tubs yet, but am eager to make that addition. Every piece is of a high quality metal material and powder coated.Who knew one could get so excited about storage.

I wanted to try out the husky wall storage system in my shed before adding additional tracks. This track system is very easy to use and the variety of accessories of hooks, bags and various other options is very good. The slats or tracks were very easy to mount because of the multiple holes that allowed you to put these on a number of various stud width including 16 in and 20 inch. The enclosed hardware which really only involved some heavy screws that were quickly mounted into the studs. I wanted to try the system out before I added more slats and it was very pleased by how well the accessories that I purchased easily clipped onto this track system and were held very securely. I need and more easily than adjusted and moved to different parts of the track system. The track itself is made of very heavy gauge metal and comes with a nice easy to insert trim piece to make it look nice in your garage or storage area. I would highly recommend this system.

This is a great system that offers endless combinations of storage solutions. The system is very clean looking and is extremely easy to install. The main bar has holes that will easily line up to stud locations for a secure mount on the wall. The system has a white panel that covers the holes and gives the system a very clean look. There are plenty of different hooks and storage items that go with the track system. I would strongly recommend!

Sturdy and well built. it will twist a bit if hanging a bike without studs every 24 inches or so. I tried it with a 42 inch span and it worked but not recommended. For the price this is better than screwing the specific hangars directly into the studs if you have a lot of stuff and need to reposition or add or subtract items. for example if you have seasonal tools or recreational gear to hang. the different hangars quickly lock or unlock on the track. There are plenty of holes in the track you really don't have to take measurements when hanging. Comes with plenty of screws. You will need an 1/8 drill bit for pilot hole and a Phillips screw driver to install.

I’ve used other competitors track system before. I’m impressed by Husky’s small form size. It takes up much less space. Almost by half. The track is solid and not flimsy. 84 inches was a little too long for the wall I wanted to use it for. I cut the lengths and I used a laser level for the installation so it would be the exact same height for each wall. With the holes, provided, I was able to install the longer piece in 4 studs. The install took no time at all. The white plastic cover is a nice touch to cover the holes and screws. It finishes it off, nicely. Now, to add some accessories!
