This is definitely the "value" tool, but I only need it for one project. As another reviewer said, out of the package, it was too tight and crimping the tubing. I took a triangle file to the underside of the stop until the pipe would fit in at a right angle and that fixed it. I also made a notch on the lever handle for a 45 degree bend, since that was what most of mine were going to be. The Swagelok YouTube video was invaluable in learning how to use it.

Did 1/4” soft tube with this bender today. No issues. Would be nice if they told you the take off.

Super easy to use, reasonably priced and makes perfect bends.

Takes the mystery out of bending 1/4" tubing for a hot water run to new humidifier.

This tube bender worked perfect. Easy to use. Needed to replace some brake lines on a friend's car. Rather than order them and hope they didn't get crimped during shipping, we decided to fabricate them ourselves.

The general quality of the bender is good for the price. But the back edge of the slot in the bending arm is relatively sharp. That sharp edge puts an undesirable cut and crease in the tubing at the beginning of the bend. I'll try rounding off the edge with a small round file before I try it again.

It's a little hard to find where the point is to bend. It might just be getting familiar with the tool. But all in all a good product. It is a little flimsy though.
