Q:Online it says it flares 7/16? but on box it does not. It also says it does 7 pipe sizes and you list 8. Im assuming it won?t do 7/16? then?

The Best Flair Tool you can pick-up today!

Don’t bother with the discount brands! You’ll be very disappointed! This Husky-branded Flair Tool is not only Pro Level but is also an exceptional value! It will perform well even with larger tube connection needs like 1/2” up to 3/4”. Out of three brand choices, this was by far the best!

Cannot flare 3/4 inch copper m tubing

Says it can flare 3/4 tubing. It cannot. The pipe doesn't even fit into the 3/4 spot enough to force the tool closed to start flaring. I'd have to hammer the tool closed to be able to slide the flaring screw on. Don't purchase if you need to flare 3/4 inch copper.

This tool has some interesting features that I have never had the opportunity to try. I'll get to that in a minute but first off realize that this flaring tool is for single flares only. It will not do double or bubble flares. Being sold in a Home Improvement store it's ok because most plumbing and gas lines use single flares. If you want to do fuel and brake lines this will work great for older cars like my 1967 Mustang. But newer and metric cars will usually have double flares. This thing is built like a tank and is very easy to use. It does have a very unusual feature being an eccentric point which actually creates the flare very well. There is also a bearing for the stem and a slip clutch for when the flare is formed and then is burnished. This creates a good uniform flare that should have no problem sealing. I did not try this on stainless brake line but I believe that it will work well considering the construction of the tool. On copper tubing it is almost effortless.

Incredibly sturdy and well built and looks to be same design as those costing 4 times as much with eccentric flare point and automatic stop (similar to torque wrench) once flare is complete. It's virtually idiot proof making perfect flares every time. Love this tool- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
