Been using for 19 years. So changed it 3 times. It works well as easy replaced and installation.

I have used this one about 10 years without problems. Now the electric system had some problem and need to change to another one which is the same, Badger 100 1/3 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal. We replaced the prior one with the same unit. The prior one lasted just over four years and worked flawlessly the whole time. We had to 1) install this one three times due to 2) no instructions to knock out the disc for the dishwasher spout and 3) no instructions saying that the disc would disappear and reappear intermittently if not caught. Do prepare to catch the knock out plug before knocking it out.

This is just over a year old and we are very cautious about what we put down the disposal. Noticed a puddle of water with damage to the cabinet floor and walls and who knows how much water underneath and between the cabinets. Just out of the warranty period but expected the Badger brand to last more than a year. Disappointing to think Emerson Electric probably changed to a cheaper plastic or seals somewhere to save $0.50 and caused this kind of issue. I’d say it’s worth spending more on a better brand and one with a longer warranty considering how many people I see now have had this same issue.

yes I InSinkErator I had another type of unit that I had to remove it was a builder-grade but I didn't have any problems installing InSinkErator it was done in less than an hour and it's fairly quiet and I enjoyed I think I paid a lot too much for it I think they could have had a better price.

Good disposal, sounds better than our old one. Very easy to install. Just got it so we will put it to the test of time ...... nice so far.

I bought this to replace a 9 year old Badger that cracked. I was concerned about price but also quality. This unit definitely has both! The price point was very nice, the look of the unit is stylish (not sure why you'd need that..) and the unit is so quiet! It doesn't take up much more space than the old unit either. I'm a moderately handy female and decided after watching a couple YouTube videos I'd install myself. No problem, the hose hookups are in the same place as the old one and the quick disconnect flange made for a quick swap. 45 minutes and I was done! I go to use it and I can't believe how quiet it is! I'm so happy I got this unit and didn't cheap out and replace with another substandard badger unit.

Easy to install, quiet and works great

Have not ground up chunks of cement or steel plate, but I have this idea it would grind through it easily. So super quiet! Was a breeze to install. Mounted up perfectly to the same drain pipes. Grinding up vegetable waste could take several seconds and sounding like I was grinding up golf balls in my old cheap disposal, but this one makes hardly any noise and does it in seconds. Highly recommended and has a great warranty!

It It is rare to applaud the demise of a household appliance, but when our old garbage disposal died a month ago the family actually let out a cheer! As in many suburban homes, the kitchen/dining/family area is the heart of family living in our home, and the noisy disposal in the sink had interrupted conversations, disturbed naps, and jammed intermittently for years. But like many home projects, it still functioned so it kept its "bottom of the list" status. Now broken, replacing it became job one, and we ran to Home Depot and found the Insinkerator of our dreams. We installed it ourselves (a cinch given the standardized mounting hardware), and were amazed at its quiet performance and high capacity, while having a higher motor power. This product earns s five star rating, and that comes from an entire and grateful family, not just a pleased homemaker.

Easy installation. Smaller size made it easier to install in a small space. Works good so far. Had to buy a cord kit separately since one was not included with the disposal.

Replaced an old Kitchenaid unit with this one and wow, what a difference, you can barely hear it working compared to the older unit. A little smaller than the older unit and the price was in the right ballpark.

Extremely easy to install. All I used was a hammer for the lock nut and a screwdriver for the bracket. Done it by myself in less than 10 minutes
