It seemed pricey, but I can honestly say it will save me money in the long run since the rooms we had to replace the ceiling and insulation in are now much cooler than before with previous insulation. I'm really glad we went with this product!

What can you say about insulation?? the 4 foot pieces are easy to handle with just 1 person though...the cost is insane though, just like everything else.

We are sorry you are having trouble with the facing coming apart from the insulation. Proper handling of the product will help to ensure a successful installation. Handling the product by the insulation not by the paper facing but by the fiberglass insulation itself. Feel free to send pictures of the product to retail@johnsmanville.com so that we can further investigate. You can also return the product to Hoe Depot and they will also make JM aware of the issue.
