Does not last
The vac seems to work for a short while, then you start having problems with it. Hard to clean and maintain. Stuff starts breaking. Hard to find parts, then they are expensive. In the end this is shot just outside of warranty. Cheaper to just buy a new one. Disposable. Unfortunately, Kenmore support and warranties are pretty much useless now. Avoid. Try another brand.

Terrific suction and features. Would buy again and recommend. Only problem, the hose for attachments is ridiculously short. I adapted the hose from the old Kenmore vac for the stairs.

Seems to pickup well. My old Kenmore Elite had lights on dirt sensor until the area was clean . Disappointed this one did not. But overall good so far!!

replacement parts unavailable
The warranty on this has passed but the brush-rollers’ brissels have worn down. I emailed the manufacturer and a parts supplier both confirming parts are unavailable. Without brissels on the roller this vacuum does not perform well. Its now going out with the trash maybe someone will take it for parts.

Box came in with a gaping hole in the box. It is too early to tell how good the vacum is or will be. Excellent is a rating if it is an excellent product. That is the reason for the good. As long as it works in the manner it is supposed to work it is good.

This model replaced a previous model of same. Performance is comparable but appears to be less quality in materials used so time will tell if it holds up as well.

The cost was less than the Consumer Report highly recommended...
The cost was less than the Consumer Report highly recommended expected amount. It works well. It is a bit hard for my 81 year old wife to turn in tight areas. I am grateful.

Great idea, poor execution and quality
I thought I was buying the 31150 model (rated highly by consumer reports) but note this is NOT that model. Ease of use of this vacuum is a 1 out of 5 for people who regularly need to use the hose. Would add more detail if HD permitted longer reviews.

Outstanding vacuum!
I love this vacuum. I like a vacuum with a bag so I don't have to empty it all the time and breath in the dust. I have been using a Hoover Wind Tunnel and it has been very good. I had trouble finding a replacement Hoover so I switched to this. It is a great product. I will probably buy another one.
