This is by far the worst enamel/porcelain sink ever!!! Kohler should be ashamed!! $644 should get a decent sink!! First use put a scratch on it that I can’t get out! I’m very careful but now have another ding!! So disappointed:(

Hi mts48, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm very sorry to hear you are not able to remove the scratch on your new Brookfield cast iron sink. Pot marks are caused by metal objects (most commonly aluminum cookware) striking the enameled surface and are not a manufacturing defect. Pots, pans, and utensils may leave the metal marks on sink surfaces because the thick layer of fire-polished enameled is harder than cookware. The pot marks look like scratches, but they do not penetrate the enameled surface. To clean, apply a small amount of KOHLER Cast Iron Cleaner (part #1012525) to the marks. I'd like to share that we warrant the enameled cast iron component of kitchen, entertainment or utility sinks manufactured after April 29, 2008 to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her home. Kohler Co. further warrants that the enameled cast iron component of the product will not chip, crack or burn for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her home. It looks beautiful! Although, it would have been better if I could have ordered an under mount without holes for the faucets. I had to get the whole edge of the cast iron sink with the 5-holes removed by the company who installed my countertops. Otherwise, I love my Koehler sink.

We like this sink very much so far. We were surprised how deep it seems when mounted beneath the counter top but hopefully will adjust. Actually, when using a fish drainer, the dishes are less visible since the sink is so deep.
