This sink was very easy to install. The whole process of removing my old sink and installing this new sink took me less than one day. For the first week, every day when I walked into my kitchen I kept thinking, woah that is a nice sink!

Very nice and spacious. However, when waters dries it leaves a long lasting smudge. Also there is a tacky residue or a type of film that left stains on the steel. Too bad it was already installed and with use you couldn't tell that it was probably defective. I was expecting a shiny stainless steel sink that shined after being cleaned and once it dried. Not happy with this product.

The deposits you are noticing are not part of the stainless steel; they are deposits on the surface of the sink and can be removed with cleaners containing oxalic acid. Unless pure distilled water flows from your faucet, there will be dissolved minerals and salts in your rinse water.
How to Remove Deposits from your Kraus stainless steel sink:
1. Choose from one of the recommended cleaners listed below.
2. Swab with a microfiber cloth, nylon pad, or a 3M Scotch Brite- Natural Fiber- Non- Scratch Scour Pad and soak for 5 minutes, always wiping in the direction of the grain.
3. It is highly recommended to rinse with clean water and dry your sink thoroughly. Please note that when rinse water evaporates, the mineral/salts are sometimes left behind. These are the same water spots you see on your car finish.

Bar Keeper’s Friend, Bio-Clean, Bon Ami, Flitz, Maas
Nevr-Dull, Shiny Sinks Plus, Zud, Autosol Shine

Love sink, faucet doesn't last.
I've had the sink in about a year and 2 months. Love it. I loved the faucet too until tonight when the spray button fell off. Its held on by two little plastic pegs. It was not made to last at all. I'm very disappointed.
