self cleaning feature almost burnt my house down installed as per spec it dis-coloured surrounding cabinet work and then quit working altogether 1 year old repaired under warranty high heat fuse blew and fan was toast , haven't used the self clean since it is now 5 years old and the window seal leaks and fogs up will replace with anything but KitchenAid or Whirlpool I'm not an appliance expert but know junk when I see it . Do not buy this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven replace our old oven of 42 years. So far it works great, looks great and really love using this model. We pick it because Kitchen Aid has a good reputation and we liked the blue color inside. The only complaint is there were no operation manual with it, the meat thermometer was missing and it seems the unit is bent/damaged. The installer said they will make a note of it. It still works though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a new home. The builder installed a single slide in oven/range (different brand) and it is awful. I wanted a 2nd oven (anyway) and insisted on a Kitchenaid because I had a Kitchenaid double oven before. As anticipated - this oven - which I've had for a month now - is wonderful. It preheats quickly. It is perfectly calibrated - and if there was an adjustment to make, it is simple to do - does not require a technician at all. There are an ample variety of levels for the racks - and the digital controls are easy to use and accurate. I love this oven. I just wish both my ovens were Kitchenaid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous oven was a Dacor. Typically the Dacor (in convection mode) would bake a potato in about 60 minutes where with my new Kitchen Aid oven, the baked potato at 60 minutes in convection mode is still hard and not fully baked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy and straight forward. Oven looks great and has all the functions my Wife was looking for in a 27” oven. With a 27” oven you don’t have a lot of choices out there, but Kitcken Aid came through with great choice.

I installed this unit but my wife uses it. I would have rated it a 1 but she likes the functionality so our posted rating is a compromise. Since I’m writing this review, here are my issues. We’re coming from a 1990 oven built like a tank, but the build quality of this Kitchenaid is utterly atrocious. Unfortunately I suspect that this is symptomatic of all new appliances these days. First, when unpacking, there was a loose sheet metal screw rolling around the box. Hmm, couldn’t find anything obvious missing on the oven, so let’s move on. Went to hook up the power supply and found the tags on the cable contradicted the manual (and the existing wiring). Do you think I could get KA to admit the label was wrong. Nope. The first person said it wasn’t their problem and to call an installer. What? The “supervisor” then said the manual was correct but would NOT say that the label was wrong. Once the oven was in place, I noticed the door didn’t line up with top console, by like 1/4 inch; that’s not insignificant. Then I noticed the door isn’t flat; it’s curved. Then found a rubber bumper missing from the where the door lands at the top. Then while installing the vent cover on the bottom I found the edge of the metal to just be cut rather than folded over, and as a result is razor sharp. A child could be very seriously cut just brushing by. After firing it up for the first time (after we had to vacate the house due to burn-in stench), the cooling fan made a loud whistling noise. And inspecting the oven racks, two had the bars bent and welded on in weird positions. So all in all, I would say KitchenAid/Whirlpool need to step their engineering and quality big time. But I doubt that’ll happen. Demand for appliances is just too strong right now, so they’ll just keep pushing them out the door...

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought a month ago. Not sure about true convect . The fan goes on then off.then on and off every minute. It reverses direction too. It is noisy and not sure how long the motor will last. Every start and stops is a life cycle. Not what I expected. The rest is ok. The timer dingle is different too. Cannot be changed. Time will tell on the true convect. Glad I got the 5 years extended warranty. It does cook well and even.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased KitchenAid Wall Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher & Refrigerator... Made in America was a main reason for the purchase. Fortunately the Oven is a MUCH better Product than the Side by Side Refrigerator. It is certainly a step up from our 20 year old Appliances... The only reason it is a 4 is that once you get any drippings on he beautiful blue oven floor, it is stain forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven 9 months ago, I find this oven is similar to the 27inch KitchenAid i had before. So far I did not have any issues. What I found is normally the front display shows the current time. Incase you touch the key pad by accident when working in the oven area, the display time setting getting disturbed, it will show some other command in the display. I find this is nuisance for me. Software engineer could have fixed this issue in R&D stage. I will be happy if some one contact me and fix this issue for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After making due with my countertop toaster oven for several months, I thought we were doing okay. Meatloaf and pizza? On the BBQ. When our new oven finally arrived, I realized what I had been missing. Even though the size (27") is the same as our 18-yr-old model, it seems like the capacity is larger. The window on the door is larger and the display panel is easier to read. I also appreciate the satin-glide shelf, so much so that we ordered 2 more. This oven is powerful! It will char chicken wings under the broiler inside of 3 minutes. Overall, we're making some subtle adjustments to how we cook with the unit, but are so very pleased with it.

No more working at trying to pull the shelf out with out jerking the pan on the shelf. It’s very easy to get pans in and out now.
