The durability is only flawed by a failure to completely...
The durability is only flawed by a failure to completely tighten and maintain the tightness of the screw-in joiner screw. The flexibility is a bit stiff (yet still flexible) which places a great deal of stress on the joiner screw. After several uses the small joiner screw backs out of the female end rendering it vulnerable to breakage (leaving it embedded in the female adapter).
