It works. Must make sure the wires are aligned properly

I love Klein tools. I have worked in the Communication Industry for 30 years, used multiple Klein tools. This crimper/stripper has issues. The crimper crimped and cut the wire clean on the connector, but the stripper failed to strip the wire long enough for the pass- thru connector. The cheaper stripper- crimper does not work on the pass- thru connectors, but works flawlessly. So, Klein failed on this tool. They need to make the cheaper tool work for pass-thru, and make a separate stripping tool that will take off 2-3 inches of sheath, which they might already have. I know that I have seen other brands. Sorry Klein, you get an"F" on this one. I had to take the sheath off with a knife, your stripper wouldn't do it.

I don't do cable termination frequently enough to be good at it and the advent of the pass-thru plugs is a godsend for detecting rebellious little tiny wires from swapping places with their neighbors as you insert them into the plug. This tool would have been 5-star great if it only did what it needed to do and trim ALL the wires proud of the plug and not just wires 2-7. The end wires 1 and 8 were consistently left uncut over the course of creating several network cables.

I've used the Klein ratcheting crimper with pass-through style RJ45 connectors and 6p6c RJ11/12 connectors with great success. The labelling on both side makes it a snap to make sure your pinouts are the correct order (and not mirrored). Whether you doing just a few terminations or an entire building, I'd be happy to carry this tool.

This is a great tool, makes for easy quick work of punching RJ45 connections.

Does what it's supposed to do

If you need to Crimp Cat 5 or 6 and use pass through's does a very good job. Cuts wires flush

This tool works great for stripping, cutting, and crimping CAT 6 cable with pass-thru connectors.

pass is a joke. more like smash through was no better than a capped end. super hard to get those wires through.

Worked for about 5 cables now 1&2 pins fail every time garbage pay a lot of money for these expect a bit of quality control.

This is ultimate crap. Works good for the first month now every cable I crimp is coming up short with 1 and 2 when tested. this tool makes me look like a complete beginner. Perfect waste of money and time when on a job.

Functioned as expected

I'm happy. It is a compact, useful and effective tool to work with.

Great all in one Ethernet tool. Cuts wires clean, easily removes shielding. Just be sure to not squeeze down all the way. Does a great job with the pass through rj45 connectors. And has a handy cable diagram right on the tool in case you forget.

This tool was able to handle a small group of 10 offices with no hassle.

a lot of the reviews of this are trash and people just don't know how to use it. these are great and they work perfect every time
