Pass Through Crimpers allow you to Spot and therefore Correct Errors in Terminating Cable Ends.

"Lasts over 2,000 Cuts" yeah right, the blade on the pass through trimmer chipped after around 20 terminations. In addition, the strip hole tends to nick the actual wire inside Cat6 wire.

I bought two sets of these mod plug crimpers and both of them leave the white orange/orange pair open after you crimp the mod plug. I won't be buying this brand mod plug crimpers anymore. Taking them back to get a refund.

Tool has consistently yielded poor connections and many hours of extra work and frustration. Have used 4 of the same model, all with issues.

The combination of this tool with pass through RJ 45 connectors make building custom cables easy.

Quality tool, reasonable price. Very well made, works flawlessly. Clean, quick and with the pass through feature, if you’re using those modular connectors, they are so much easier than non pass through.

The Crimper works great, and its nice that the pin layouts are directly on the the tool. Gives a nice clean crimp on all sorts of cat6 pass through ends.

I bought this due to it's compact size and the Klein reputation. Unfortunately, the crimps are unreliable on pin 1 (Orange/White). I thought I had garbage old CAT-5 cable, as the cables tested good with a simple tester. Bought a spool of high grade cable - same issue. I finally hooked up a LinkRunner - consistent bad readings on pin 1 at BOTH ENDS. Used another crimper with no further issues. Lot's of wasted time and money.

This tool failed to properly crimp RJ47 pins 1 and 2 50% of the time. I spent a tremendous amount of time cutting off and re-crimping terminations. It appears to be a common problem with this model. It looks like you play Russian Roulette when you purchase one of these - will you get a good unit or a bad one? Very expensive and disappointing as I have come to trust Klein quality in other products.

We used this tool on our last three low voltage jobs and found the failure rate on connectors to be excessive. Mine is going in the trash.

Crimper is well made but getting the wires through the end of the head is more difficult than just crimping the old way.

Very easy to use, just wish it had a locking handle for storage.

I have used a friend's network cable tool with normal network conne tors. These passthru connectors were so awesome because you can verify wire color series before crimping. I love that it also cuts the wire ends perfectly with the connector. A must have even for part time DIY computer networking for home or work.

Didn't work on one side of the patch

I purchased this thinking Klein was the brand name of network tools. I've had two technicians use this crimper. We have tried pass thru and standard RJ45 ends. It seems like 95% of the time Pin 1 and 2 fail to crimp. We retired it with an older generic crimper and the cable tests just fine.
