This set allowed me to take apart tamper proof items. I have never liked tamper proof screws, and this solved my problem.

This set is invaluable when trying to remove those crazy bolts/screws that have a small pin in the middle. Obviously done so you would have to take the unit to a company repair facility. Great set at a fair price. For those of you that are DIY'ers, get one.

I had these shipped to my neighborhood Home Depot and was pleased with the service and the product.

Security screw removal bit with two prongs broke on screw number 4 of 16. Ended up cutting slot in the heads with rotary tool and cutting disc. Hopefully others in the set will work better.

A cover is necessary ,for $20 it should be enough. if one bit gets lost. You're screwed

Very pleased with the set of bits. A good variety of sizes and types. I have not used each and every bit and don't expect to. Those that I have fit and functioned perfectly. Not something you will use every day but a great addition to the tool box.

I needed a security Tor-x bit to repair a steam iron and not sure of the exact size. The reviews of what was available you-know-where (think of a big river in South America) indicated all the driver sets were either of poor quality steel or the holes were drilled off center so I checked both the blue and orange stores. The Home Depot had a set by Klein, a company known for making quality tools. Not only are these bits of high quality (holes on center, nothing broke or bent in my use) but this larger set included a phillips like security driver that I didn't know I needed until deep within the bowels the iron that I succeeded in repairing. Don't try to save 5 bucks, buy THIS set!

This set provides a good variety of security bits. They are all well made, and they fit securely into the provided holder base.

I occasionally run into a tamperproof screw when repairing battery packs and this set will provide the needed bits if I do encounter them.

exactly what I needed, good quality of bits at a reasonable price

This is a quality set of security bits. I researched others, that were less expensive, however it could be easily seen that the quality of them was substandard. In particular, the pin holes are not centered, like that in the hex and torx. The Klein set bit holder is made of rubber, which makes it easy to remove and replace the bits with one hand.
