[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for over 2 months now and love it! Our main requirement was a counter depth side by side with good reviews, and this fit the bill. Wouldn't have had to have the door-in-door, but it's a really nice feature. It's very quiet, which was another concern for us. We like that the ice and water dispensers are separate, and after the first day or two, figured how to use them without splashing.

The ice maker has never worked well but now not working at all. Called LG support and got the run around. Everything has worked well but disappointed in the ice output when it did work but now even more disappointed with no ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro... I love the way every thing has its place and ez to get too. I keep water and juice in the out side door. Along with cheese yogurt and butter. Con... Only one thing... figure prints, with the hidden handle, I push the door closed by hand and get figure prints every where. I have to come up with a better way to close the doors.

We have had this one a little over a month and I am very pleased with it. The roominess is outstanding. The water and ice controls are easy to use.

Refrigerator is counter depth, which we needed, but the storage configuration does not seem well planned. The smaller door in door does not have a handle, so many smudge marks from closing by hand. One shelf in the outer door is so tiny I put sticks of butter in it. The drawer space we typically use for cheese and cold cuts is very small. The refrigerator is quiet and keeps everything cold, the ice maker functions well. I just feel like the door in door feature was a not so well planned gimmick and does not make good use of storage. Also awkward if you need several items at once and have to open the small door to get some items, then close and open the full door for other items.

Purchased this refrigerator 6 weeks ago. Originally we bought a different brand refrigerator and there were issues from the minute it was setup by the delivery personnel. I received a replacement refrigerator 2 weeks later and it also had issues. I insisted that it be taken out. I got my money back. bought the LG refrigerator and have zero issues or problems. Highly recommend this unit.

Have had it for six weeks. Very satisfied. Very quiet. Meets all our needs.

I am really enjoying my new 3 door refrigerator. It is very quiet, and has a great look. It has plenty of storage for myself and others too, if you don't keep more than you need in a couple of weeks. I enjoy the smaller front door for storing drinks and other items used often. My only complaint is the higher cost for this counter depth model.

I like every aspect of this refrigerator. The door in door works great. Low energy. Stainless steel. Beautiful

We love the counter depth, the filtered water and the in-door ice maker. And the door-in-door feature is the best!

We have this door in door refrig for about 4 months it is great for us.The door in door is very useful. This refrig is so quiet you do not know it is on. The quality is great. So far Ice maker is good for me. If I have guests It has an ice storage bin below. Water dispenser works great. I feel the money I paid for this refrig. was well worth it. If you need bigger than a counter depth..Try a bigger door in door refri. LG so far has a great refrig.

Purchased this referig. 12/5/14. On 2/13/15, ice maker failed. Two service calls over a 14 day period an still no ice. Furthermore, service companies in the Columbia SC area told me that they were no longer going to service warranty calls for LG. They are now sending a repair tech. from 40 miles away to start the process all over again. NOT HAPPY WITH THE SITUATION.

Was apprehensive at first, but after using the LG side by side for a few months it turned out great. We needed a counter depth but this one seems full size. It looks great and it works great. It has a lot of room and great features. We set the temperatures and they are rock steady. One thing - it needs a meat and cheese drawer. The door in door feature is a real nice convenience. Could not ask for a better refrigerator. Thanks.

Purchased our Door in Door Counter Depth Fridge about a month ago and LOVE it. The door in door feature is so convenient, holds all the items I frequently use with out having to open the whole door. So far the temp has been good and the ice and water dispenser work well.

I couldn't decide between a French door refrigerator and a side by side. This refrigerator has both. Such a clever design with the door in the door where most everything I need is easily and quickly right there within the first door. Hardly ever have a need to open up the bigger door. Counter depth is a great feature without reducing the amount of storage. Have a small, open concept floor plan in a townhome and cannot even hear this refrigerator. Slight noise when making ice but that's it.

Extremely attractive fridge, and I love the door-in-door feature. Love the lighting inside the fridge. Food staying perfectly cold inside. My one complaint is that to close the door-in-door you need to use your fingers (or a firm elbow) and this leads to fingerprints.

This refrigerator has great features and looks wonderful in our kitchen. We love the small door to get items used more frequently. The freezer storage is perfect for us. It seems to work perfectly and have great features.

The door-in-door design of this refrigerator makes getting at often-accessed items a breeze. It also allows me to keep better organization in the refrigerator. The main reasons that I chose this refrigerator are that the temperature remains constant throughout the unit and for it's door-in-door design. I should also add that it is a very quiet running unit and has a most dependable ice maker that doesn't take up freezer shelf space. I am thoroughly happy with this product.

The refrigerator has performed just as advertised. The very low noise level is impressive. The workmanship is also first rate. The flaws are the way the door within a door closes, the exterior shelf width in the door within a door, the lack of a main door opening stop, and conflicting guidance on how much clearance is required around the refrigerator. The door within a door must be pushed to latch. There is no place to push other than on the stainless steel smooth surface which becomes marked with finger prints, etc very quickly. The width of the shelves in the door within a door need to be about a half inch deeper to hold standard round bottles. The icemaker and delivery is very good.

great fridge with minimal noise. Fix nicely in my small kitchen. Only 28" depth.Look it amazin.

Great Looks in our open kitchen. Counter depth looks built in. All essentials in smaller refrigerator door. Water dispenser can fill any size container. Replaced larger deeper refrigerator that was full of unused items. Now everything is within view and manageable. Only wish the smaller refrigerator door had a self close feature. Overall love it. Have owned LG washer & dryer for years with great service so no brainer to go with an LG Fridge.

A wonderful new addition to my kitchen! The ice maker works wonderfully, storage locations are convenient, lighting is very good. Took a bit to get used to "door in door", but now love it. An alarm sounds if a door is open too long - very practical feature.

Well organized, easy to find things in it. Temperature very stable. Highly recommended by Consumer Reports...
