[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought our dishwasher at Christmas time and we are loving it. Much quieter than our old model and always perfectly clean.

The dishwasher fails regularly. Display flickers and then it won’t come on. This started early on and is getting to the point that I can’t deal with it. Have to turn the breaker off just to get it to work.

I replaced the same dishwasher that I purchased four years ago. I hope it does better!!

BUYER BEWARE! Purchased the LDF5455BB 3 years ago. Ran great until its motor caused an electrical fire. LG replaced the motor under warranty, then the immediately control panel fried and LG won't return phone calls. Machine doesn't run and has to be disconnected or it turns itself on and off, chimes, and runs on its own!

Purchased this dishwasher in Dec 2022 to replace another brand. We are completely satisfied with how quietly it runs and how efficiently it cleans! The features of the unit were well thought out in it's design. Having the second rack adjustable for height...awesome! The bonus feature of a 3rd rack for utensils and knives is a great addition. LG really thought of everything without breaking the bank on price! Will definitely recommend this unit to friends.

I was shopping for a black dishwasher, which limits my choices. When I found this one that was rated extremely quiet (which it is), I was so focused on quiet that I didn't notice how bad the bottom rack is. Without prongs in the middle, sometimes the middle is empty, but all the rest is full. I wish I loved it, but I don't. I would gladly buy a better bottom rack, if one were available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had issues since the very first time we ran the machine and the quality is terrible. The finish on the door is flawed and no one cares. Our bottom rack had bent rollers and keeps falling off glides. A replacement was sent but they sent the WRONG one.

We bought this brand new about 5 years ago when we built our house. Unfortunately after a couple years the rocks began to rust and now to the point where I'm worried about their safety.

It started out incredibly quiet and has grown increasingly noisy over time. It started out doing a great job at cleaning everything but as it reaches the one year mark the quality of the clean has deteriorated. We clean the unit as per the manual but it it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

I bought this about 3 years ago. During that time we had to replace the level sensor (under warranty), the front control panel and it's cover. Last year we noticed parts of the racks rusting out in several areas. This is the first time in the 30 years I have owned dishwashers that I have experienced this.

I ordered this last 11/1/2022 at Lowe's. Delivered Sat 11/12/2022. I personally installed it same day. Guess what, it has a slow leak at the outlet port where the outlet hose meets the plastic housing inserted at the machine sealed with an "O" ring. Did not use it for a while until service personnel came but when they ran the machine it did not leak anymore. Hopefully it stays that way.

I love the 3rd rack! I’ve always put long tools on the top rack of the dishwasher so with this 3rd rack it gives me extra space! Cleans perfectly! Easy installation, I was able to install the dishwasher myself! Rated at a 4 because of the fact that I can’t put taller cups on the 2nd rack due to the space for the 3rd rack. And the bottom rack seems to not hold as much as my previous dishwasher. Usually I’m able to put my frying pan in the bottom rack to be washed but due to the size of this dishwasher I have to really maneuver items around to get it to fit properly. I’ve mainly been just washing the pots and pans due to size. Also the run time of the dishwasher is approx 2 hours+ and this is much longer than I anticipated.

I’ve been using my new dishwasher for about 2 months. Following every normal cycle there’s heavy condensation on the door. I read others posts that indicate this is a common problem. The only solution is to run the Extra Dry cycle each time. So, additional expense on my electricity bill. It does work however. Two of the fold down dividers keep falling on their own, causing my plates to come crashing down against one another and of course not getting clean. Lastly, I hate the front control panel. It’s extremely sensitive so when I’m working at my sink, the slightest touch engages the power button and tries to start a cycle. Wish I’d bought a dishwasher with top control panel!!

No complaints there, but within two years, we noticed the top rack started rusting. It wasn’t so much that I couldn’t let it go. But now, it is rusting in two more places. Our previous dishwasher was at least 15 years old and never had this problem. It is for this reason that the three star rating is not higher.

Have had this dishwasher 3 years. The door latch error keeps popping up so the dishwasher will not start. After talking to a LG repair person this is a common issue with the LG product. Also the top rack has rust from where some of the plastic covering feel off. It is not covered by any warranty because it’s considered cosmetic

When you first get the unit, make sure to run the cycle a couple of times, in order to check for leaks and get the operation cyling running smoothly. Afterthat, my LG runs very silent and in less than an hour, returns spotless and dry silverwary, plates, and glasses.

This dishwasher is very disappointing. It does not get my dishes as clean as i thought it would so I still have to make sure there are no food particles on the dishes. Plus there is still water in the dishwasher even after the extra drying time. I have to prop the door open to let it air dry

We bought this dishwasher based off of a recommendation by the sales rep of being the best based on cleaning and quietness in it's price category. Those statements are true. However, after owning the dishwasher just over a year, the racks started to rust. I would have expected it to last longer than a year. Won't buy again.

I brought this dishwasher along with a stove fridge and microwave, replace full working G&E set, everything seemed fine but this stupid dishwasher. I have tried every cycle and it never gets the dishes fully dried. At this point I’m ready to start all over with a new brand. I thought LG was good. Wrong oh and by the way it’s loud as crap. I can hear this all the way upstairs and in my basement.

I also like the adjustable Easyrack which allows me flexibility in loading the dishwasher in different configurations.
