This dishwasher is not only beautiful on the outside, it cleans my dishes perfectly. They come out clean and shiny. It also runs so quietly, I've had to check to make sure it's running. Great dishwasher for a good price!

Dishwasher works great - overall very satisfied with how well it cleans and how quiet it is. The online ordering process was a piece of cake and couldn't have gone any easier. I would like to also talk about Covid19, the delivery and the set up of the dishwasher. I was originally very reluctant at first about purchasing anything online knowing it was going to need to be installed from professionals. But I instantly knew when I was greeted at the door with the new washing machine and they installers - all of which were wearing facial mask and observing the necessary guidelines needed during these trying times - I knew I made the right decision going with Home Depot - very professional! They had the old dishwashers out and the new one in in about 15mins. Talk about a great all around experience

Runs quiet and great job, so glad it was on sale. They started a cycle then left. I went to load it and found packing materials and a soggy manual, part of the full service $129.00 installation. The installers were professional and also brought a fridge.

We bought a dishwasher when we got married 10 years ago. It was horrible. We bought this one about 5 months ago. I wanted to wait to give a review to make sure. You don't have to clean the dishes before you load the dishwasher. Its quiet, Not that it matters to me, but it is. And cost is in middle of the road. I installed the dishwasher, and it was not complicated.

The ad I ordered from stated it had a hard food disposal but I see nothing stating that in the manual. The controls could be easier to understand and remember but in time I guess I can adjust to that. It shows to have a downloadable setting but I see no smart phone icon on the machine and I'm unsure if this machine has the "SmartThinQ" ability to add a pots and pan setting or if it's already installed. Also not sure if our smart phone is equipped with NFC as this is the first time I have seen this term. I also paid for the universal installation kit but there was no fitting to connect to the copper 1/2" line my old unit was connected to so it was another trip to the hardware store. Hookup wasn't to hard and it seems to clean well and is very quiet. I'll have to experiment with it more when I have time to find out more about the controls and functions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our new dishwasher for one month. We love how quiet it is, the only downfall is that it's hard to fit big pots and pans in it. Easy to use and stylish. So far we haven't had any issues with dishes coming out dirty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical about going with this dishwasher but I couldn’t be happier. Near silent and very efficient and blends seamlessly into the stainless steel appliances.

Purchased for a home we sold. Chose this one because it seemed to have more room, the color is beautiful and has a sleek look. Ran it once to verify that it was hooked up correctly didn’t sound any different than any other dishwasher but we really don’t run dishwasher to often.

So quite, haven't quite figured the dish layout only used about 4 times. Bowls seem to take up a lot of space, I'll get this figured. Like the raise the upper rack option, not sure about basket for silverware, but again..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dishwasher at the beginning of August for a kitchen remodel, along with an LG Microwave and an LG electric stove. My contractor recommended the brand and so far I have been very happy with it. It is the quietist dishwasher I have ever owned, does a good job of cleaning and has some nice features. The energy saver setting doesn’t really dry the dishes at all so I am not thrilled with that, but the night dry and turbo settings seem to do the trick! As well, I do find the inside space smaller than what I am used to but I love the fact that some of the prongs on the top rack conveniently fold down to accommodate larger items. As well I have removed the cutlery separators that provide individual space for each table utensil as the handles of my cutlery are too thick to fit through those narrow slots. Last, but certainly not least, the dishwasher looks amazing in my new kitchen and pairs beautifully with the other appliances. I love how the controls are flush with the door and the little sounds the dishwasher makes when turning on and off are so much more pleasant than a loud buzz. Unfortunately I can not operate the dishwasher from my phone as I have an iPhone and the app is not supported by Apple products but I think that’s a great feature! All in all, I am quite Pleased with my new dishwasher! Thank you for asking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So here I am 5 weeks after purchasing at Home Depot. Got the haul-away and complete install of new dishwasher. I believe I am like most people these days and did a days worth of online research satisfying my desire to purchase a quality for the value new dishwasher. I decided on the LG LDF5545BD. I've used it 4 or 5 times only. I've used the half-wash function, once for dishes on the top rack only and once bottom rack only, I've used rinse only (no soap), and the remaining times on normal cycle with night-dry. Simply it is a well thought out machine. The door is light and easy to open/close, there is no heating element to dry the dishes after the wash cycle, instead the dishwasher uses a water heater built in to the washer to make the already hot feed water even hotter, after wet cycle is complete a fan comes on intermittently expelling the heat and steam. I think this is brilliant firstly no more melting those plastic bowls, glasses, or dishes you sometimes put in to wash, secondarily less electricity. It works, I have no water spots, of course you must load up the rinse-aid resevoir which automatically dispenses and works in conjunction with any dry cycle you choose. I am so far very happy with its performance and with its aesthetic quality.

Great dishwasher! WAY better than my old Frigidaire! Quiet and efficient!

Our old one used the expensive dish soap thi LG uses any dishwasher soap. We’ve had some in storage for awhile can now use it. Thanks LG. LIFES GOOD.

Also, it leaked once but I believe may have had to much in the bottoms rack as it hasn’t done it again since and I haven’t piled on as many dishes as I did that time as well.

We have just passed two years from the purchase date and noticed that the upper rack plastic is coming off and is badly rusting. I have had other brand dishwashers for 5 - 10 years and never had a problem with the rack deteriorating like this and so soon. Makes me wonder what else will have issues soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to wait some time before submitting a review, and a little over two months after installation I could not be happier with this dishwasher. We had considerable problems with our previous dishwasher from a different brand, but this LG has proven to be substantially quieter while providing more thorough and consistent cleaning. I haven't noticed any streaking or spotting, everything comes out clean, and as long as I remember to use drying agent the items are immediately ready for use. The dishwasher even has a cute jingle at the end of its cycle that is surprisingly endearing.

But this past month after it was running for about 10 minutes I heard a pop. while unloading I noticed the crack in the top of the door. As this is where all the controls are I was concerned and called lg .they said it was not covered .i am very disappointed inLg. I guess I have to wait for this crack to impact the operation of the control before someone will address it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously we owned a Samsung in the same price range. This LG dishwasher has outperformed that one in every single aspect. Dishes, bowls, deep cups, silverware, it all just comes out clean and dry! We own a 230lb English Mastiff, his food and water bowls often look like a Jackson Pollock painting after a week. We ran these through the turbo cycle (1hr) and they came out spotless! Our last dishwasher only lasted 4.5 years so we are hoping to get more out of this LG. But we have faith, we currently have a front load washer/dryer set that are coming up on 10 years running like champs! So with this in mind we literally just replaced our samsung refrigerator that died last week with an LG model: LSXS26326S. And as our other samsung appliances die off we will most likely continue to upgrade to LG!
