Within the week, the icemaker began to leak. It started making horrible noises and finally a loud pop that left the ice tray hanging inside the ice cabinet. Called LG and they say that they have no service people in our area and that they “hope” to find a 3rd party company to come out to repair it. I’m calling Home Depot tomorrow to see if they’ll come out and pick up this piece of junk and refund us.

Refigerator is great. HOWEVER, the right door gasket on top right was improperly installed at factory. Scheduled a replacement and arrived today. Right door gasket was installed INCORRECTLY on right door on both right and left sides. VERY Disappointing that LG quality control would allow this to pass inspections. Attached photo of gasket.

I got this a few weeks ago and I’m very happy with it. Exactly what I needed and was looking for. It’s very spacious and I loved the fact that the ice maker is on the door not inside taking space. I can fit tons of ice cream for the kids .

We purchased this refrigerator because our 5 year old (Not LG) French Door refrigerator, the evaporator fan failed. This brand can stick with making TV's and cell phones. Thrilled I was the first delivery of the day. We saw the white one on display in the store, but choose the stainless steel online. Very pleased with delivery and the guys bringing it in to my kitchen. Glad the water line from our old refrigerator was the same size for this one. My husband hooked the waterline up and the repair guys made sure the line did not leak before rolling it into place. After removing all the packing tape, cleaning the refrigerator in about 2 hours I began loading the refrigerator side with my food. Within 6 hours, I loaded the freezer up with my frozen items. I was very surprised after loading all the items from my old french door refrigerator, it still look empty and I had LOTS of room for more items so I took the items out of our 2nd refrigerator freezer in the garage and loaded it up. It is very quiet, like has no handles, and it took 3 ice dumps for the ice to be clear to use. Like that ice maker in door and does not take up room in the freezer. Makes ice within 24 hours on a regular basis. LG rated a high quality for this appliance. This fits a 36 inch wide space perfectly with inches to spare.

Very sleek & very quiet. Have only had a few weeks but so far so good. Had a previous LG model for almost 20 years and actually still works. Now serves as our garage fridge. Makes perfect ice!

The ice takes a little while to get going once plugged in and we thought it wasn’t working, but we haven’t had any problems. Very bright inside. I would definitely buy again.

Very spacious both in the freezer and the refrigerator sides. Like the ice maker being in the door and the 2 ice choices but does tend to shoot ice past the glass if the glass is not pressed all the way to the very top of the dispenser. I don’t like the taste of the water. It’s no different than out of the tap, but husband and kids don’t mind it. It’s very quiet. Stainless outside cleans very easily. Lots of room in the refrigerator doors. Don’t like that the drawers have to be pulled from the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great fridge! The space is amazing! The ice in the door is sleek and makes so much more freezer room than I had in my old side by side. It is sturdy, sleek and simple. Two things to note: family learning curve for shutting the fridge softly. If you shut it too hard the freezer opens a bit and won’t close itself all the way, but isn’t open enough to make the “open” chime sound. Thing two, not print proof stainless steel and the fam needs to learn to open with the no handle design. Totally worth it! I’m over the moon for this beauty!

She didn't know I got it. It was delivered 3 weeks later and she still didn't know, when the delivery guys came up to the door to drop it off. She got to see it for the first time and was so excited her eyes, her smile was priceless she was ready to cry. She had no idea.

Although we weren't able to match the color from what the store was able to show us, we were close but the other model probably (unknown) would have matched better. Anyway, my wife and I both love side by side refrigerators and the freezer side lets her organize each shelf (1 shelf beef, 1 shelf pork, 1 shelf fish, etc..). The ice cube maker makes better sized ice cubes also. The refrigerator side allows excellent organization also (top shelf mine, 1 shelf her, 1 shelf pet) the trays are deeper and allows for great organization and storage also (1 shelf American, 1 shelf Asian, 1 shelf Mexican, etc.) sauces, dressings, etc... Refrigerator was easy to install, easy to move for cleaning, and gives more side space than what we had previously. Only wish the side matched the doors in color.

I originally questioned if I should get it as it has no extending handles, but I love it! It looks so sleek & modern. This is the first stainless fridge I have had, and the fingerprint resistant finish is just that! I have another appliance that I am constantly cleaning prints from, not this one!! Another great feature is that this model is virtually silent! I can't even hear it running! The only sounds I hear is when it is making ice, which is so much better than my previous fridge. This ice actually tastes good and doesn't smell. This model is sleek and great looking. I am so happy with my purchase, and that I chose this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this less than a month ago. It came really quickly. Some of the features I needed and wanted when choosing a fridge: 1. I love that it doesn’t have any handles, making it fit better in my galley kitchen. My previous fridge had handles and i had to remove the door to get it out of a tight opening. But this was able to squeeze into my kitchen entrance easily! 2. It’s so sleek. The style of it makes my kitchen feel high end. 3. I prefer side by side fridges as opposed to French doors because it works better for me to grab things out of the freezer. 4. For the price, you can’t beat it. Does the job. Has water and ice. - one thing I would add is that I wish the entrance to get water and ice is a bit bigger so I can rest my water bottle on there. It’s smaller than my previous fridge so it’ll take some getting used to.

It holds more food than any model I have ever seen and the price was very reasonable. It looks great in my kitchen and I enjoy using it every day, several times a day. I especially like that it reminds me if the door is open too long.

The only thong I don’t like about it are the two bottom drawers that you have to stoop at the bottom of the drawers to pull them out. You need to squat to reach them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in October it was working fine but had some problems only because I need to change my electrical outlet but once I did that The refrigerator runs perfect love the icemaker and the ice selection but I must say if you have a regular outlet for your appliances change it because it needs the ground outlet to run right but overall love the product I have a stove and refrigerator set and both are great

LG Print Proof Stainless Steel refrigerator is amazing. NOTE: it is not completely print proof. But the prints are easily wiped off with a damp rag. The stainless steel cleans much better than any other stainless steel products I have. We got this to replace a 15 year old fridge. This is a 27 cubic foot that has plenty of space in the refrigerator side and the freezer side. The freezer side has a remarkable layout. The ice maker is in the door so it gives more room to store food in the freezer. The ice maker puts out a good amount of ice and it is noticeably quiet when it drops ice. My other fridge could be heard from the back of my house when it dropped ice. The ice maker has options for crushed or cube ice. The fridge also has a water dispenser. You simply push a button on the front of the dispenser to choose the type of ice or water. The freezer is equipped with glass shelves and even a clear drawer to give plenty of room to store foods. It is wide enough to lay out stacked frozen pizzas and other items. The refrigerator side has glass shelves as well that are placed securely in a groove. Though they are adjustable, there are not alot of options for changing height between them. Which is okay because they are spaced evenly and creates a perfect distance between them. There are 2 crisper drawers at the bottom for fruits and veggies. The only drawback here is there is no meat drawer but you can easily by storage bins to hold your meat and cheese. The door of the fridge is equipped with storage shelves, which hold quite a bit. They are deep enough to hold plenty of jars and condiments. There is even room in some of the shelves to hold gallon jugs of milk and tea. Another note. The door does not have a butter bin which is sometimes standard but again, we cured that with a storage container. The doors of the fridge do not have handles that stick out, the handles are inset within the door which is what gives the extra depth for storage in the doors. There are even a couple of shelves in the door of the fridge, below the ice maker. The only thing to pay attention to is the depth of the fridge. It would be little problem for most modern homes. I measured for the depth of the fridge and I had plenty of room. My problem is there is a wall next to the fridge. It fit perfectly until I opened the doors. The swing of the door is such that it hit the wall. It couldn't open all the way which inhibited the drawers pulling out all the way. A friend and I modified the wall which made it fit just right. I recommend making sure you measure the depth without the doors. You will need to make sure there is nothing in the way beyond that. (See picture) By far, this is the best fridge I have ever owned. It is well built, and it is quiet when running. This fridge is a must have.

This side-by-side 27 cubic foot LG refrigerator has a lot of great features that made me select this over so many other products out there. The extra cold air vent at the top of the refrigerator side blows directly on the four shelves on the door so your milk, juice, and other frequently used items will get an extra shot of cold air. I really liked the in-door dispenser for purified water and ice as well (see picture). It was handy to use and the fact the water and ice was purified with a built-in removable filter was very reassuring. It has energy-efficient and bright LED lighting, so no bulbs to replace. The glass shelves in both the refrigerator and freezer are easy to slide and remove for cleaning if necessary. Both compartments have a lot of good storage with shelves and bins. I was impressed by the use of braided stainless steel hose for the water line going to the ice maker. This is going to last a long time. I highly recommend this refrigerator due to its great features and its good design. It will also look great in any kitchen with its stainless steel finish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I love it (so far). The fridge has plenty room. I wish there was a smaller drawer for my packs or bacon, cheese, etc. I can fit multiple cartons of juice in the door. Plenty of extra room. But it’s nice.

LG Electronics 27 cu. ft. Side by Side Refrigerator with External Ice and Water Dispenser in Finger Print Proof Stainless Steel This redesigned side-by-side refrigerator is awesome. It has modern exterior flat panels, discreet pocket handles and sleek touch controls. The internal freezer and refrigerator are very well designed and organized. It has top-to-bottom shelving with very easy sight and access to all your foods and drinks. The lighting is awesome and very bright. The two things noticed so far, but minor issues 1. The ice-maker seems to be a little slow making ice 2. You can't adjust all the shelves in the Freezer and Refrigerator. Both of these are very minor issues and so far we love our new fridge!

Great choice, we love our side bi side refrigerator elegant lines, white, very quiet when running. It makes plenty of ice, a lot more than we need, overall we highly recommend this model by LG.
