Exactly what I wanted, quiet, runs all the time,but power consumption varies with the outside temperature. Not interested in the wifi capability- best to just let it run! Cooling 500sq ft including a kitchen.

For 34 days this A/C worked well then the compressor stopped coming on and would shut off with an error code. After a reset of the unit it would only blow warm air and never worked again. In researching the problem with this particular model it seems as if there is a problem with the electrical sensors that should cause anybody concern in choosing this product or others in this line. Adding insult to injury LG doesn't honor their warranty claiming that there are no repairmen in my "rural" area. I don't live in a rural area and there are plenty of repairmen available. I would have really had major difficulties if Home Depot wouldn't have been so wonderful in standing behind their return policy. THANK YOU HOME DEPOT! When you further take into consideration LG's complete lack of action in resolving this warranty problem and poor customer service, I would suggest buyers to look at other A/C suppliers entirely.

I use this to cool my first floor of the house. About 1000 sq ft. And this unit does a great job doing so.

This thing looks sharp! Not like an old fashioned AC unit. On the wall, it looks similar to a mini split. It works great and is quiet. Installation was super easy as well.

This unit is really quiet! I had a 10 years old Frigidaire 25000. It cooled good but not nearly as good as this LG 22000 and it was way noiser and much heavier! As for longevity, I have only used it for a couple of week, we'll have to wait and see if the LG last as long. We're having 100° weather and it's keeping my 1200 sq. ft. house really cool.

My wife and I love this thing so much that we've named it Marvin, and it's a part of the family now. Why? Heat index has been around 103 degrees, but no probs here! This AC is unequalled; energy efficiency is off the charts, it's silent (save for the fun chime when switching on and off, which we like as we use this in our kitchen window), and cools our whole 550sq ft house like a beast. I use the free SmartAC program kit from ConEdison to control the AC remotely--don't even bother with the LG application. Once you get SmartAC set up, it works perfect. Yes, it is very heavy, and takes two people to move and install--no way around that!

Some time ago I have my air conditioning and it works perfectly, it is silent, it is fast cooling and it is efficient, what I would have liked is that it had more speeds since it only has 3, and when you choose the option to sleep you realize that it has a fourth speed that is less and less noisy but I can not give a bad review for that air is excellent and very good finishes. It has been an excellent purchase!

Excellent machine, super quiet. Replaced a 2 yrs old Friedrich noisy machine. Love the lg a/c dual inverter style.

This air conditioner is a lot quieter than the previous ac’s I have bought. It keeps my house very cool and I like the fact that is more energy efficient than the previous ones I have owned.

Great unit and super happy with its performance. Can't wait to calculate the savings after the first month's use at 14.7 EER. Just takes a minute to pop the front on and straight forward installation. Will be purchasing more of these units in the future. Well packaged by the company and survived shipping. Do wish my local store would keep them in stock. Ordered online.

I've had this for one week. The immediate benefit of low noise and high volume air flow lead to my 100% recommendation. It connects to wifi and can be managed remotely, you can also review power usage data. Looks good for a window unit, at a width of 27 inches it just fit in my window.

Excellent product! Have had it for 2 weeks and it more than meets my expectations. Put it in my larger than normal 3 car garage in Naples, FL, where the ambient is presently running 95+ degrees F and 105 degrees F REAL FEEL! This unit cooled it down to 75 degrees F in less than half an hour. It is normally simple to install but my hurricane windows made it necessary to build up my inner sill before i could complete the installation.The dual inverter makes it SUPER quiet. I have yet to find anything that i dislike about it. Thank you for saving my summer LG!!!!

I have had this AC for a week now and it is great. T pros: quiet! WiFi 7 day schedule in lg app Google and Alexa Smaller and lighter than the old 14k unit Very efficient Easy to install Modes: Dry, eco, cool, fan Cons: no heat Fan does not have an auto mode Price wasn't terrible. I paid 480, but had a 10% off so 430. In the end I was probably better off installing a diy mini split. But this was a nice portable easy solution.

It has been 2 weeks I installed the AC so I can't say anything yet about the durability etc. but I can say that it is the best window AC I have ever seen. It is quiter than any other ACs. high mode is as quite as slow mode of my other AC in the apartment. Sleep mode is as quite as mini split ACs. I am waiting for the 9.500BTU to replace my other AC in the small rooms. Installation might be tricky if you are not a handy person. It has multi stages. I am pretty handy and took me to instalI around one and half hr.

Excellent cooling and very quiet for the size. Good pricing as well. Highly recommended. Heavy and need 2 to install but for the size that’s a given.

Very quiet unit. Love the way the fan ramps up and there's no sudden jolt when it kicks on. Not a simple install in a vinyl window but it's doable. Remote and app are a little buggy but not bad enough to cause major issues in operation. Sleek looking since there's no fins in the front intake side. Really like this unit overall and keeps my entire floor comfortable.

Install was same as replaced model and really like the quiet operation. The remote is far better and can operate from distance to my bed, were replacement couldn't. It also has additional dry mode that can be utilized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently installed last week and pleased that it is so much quieter then my old G.E A/C that left so much to be desired from when it was new, with the compressor going bad 1-yr later and then requiring a recharge every year for the past ten years because the repair job left it with a slight leak, which is why I replaced it now with this new L.G because refrigerant 22 became obsolete and ridiculous to buy price wise with service. but for now I can't give a full fair review with this new L.G a/c unit because I haven't needed to run it due to the still cool temperatures here in upstate NY. And with that said it's a shame that my 1-yr warranty has been started in effect since the purchase April 16th and I have not needed to use the a/c yet and it will probably another few weeks before I start to need it or actually until late June.

Great efficient product. The wireless app is easy to use and works great. i can turn it on when i am heading back to my office and enjoy a nice cool space when i arrive.

Liked it so much I bought 3. It is the biggest AC I could find that wasn't 220v. Has great features and is very quiet.

No more complicated installations to pay for, this window AC is just what I was dreaming for long. It keeps my bedroom in a very nice confort of 72 degrees 6.5 hours through the night with just 1.22kwh of energy consumption. At the begining it will take just 650watts to bring the room to the desired tem then it will start decreasing until it runs with less than 250 to keep it cool. The operating noise @ 44db is just excellent and much better I can operate this AC with my 2000w generator with no problem which makes it ideal for an RV or trailer.
