[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement unit from one I had for over 15 years. Runs very smooth and quiet. At first I wasn't sure about the Wi-Fi features didn't seem like I really needed it for a washing machine but it's nice that gives you updates if you're using too much soap when the load is done.. The Price is the same from 15 years ago.

Look at LG's photo on its website of the back of the washer showing how the drain hose wraps all around the back. This tells you that the drain hose is long enough to reach a drain on the left or the right of the washer. Then look at my photo of what we got with our new WM4000HBA washer. This is what you will get. The drain hose is so short that it cannot reach a drain to the left side of the washer. Then ask your dealer for a drain hose extension and you will be told that LG does not make an extension and does not sell a longer drain hose and that you have to solve this problem on your own. Since we can't even use the machine, we can't give it a rating of good or bad. I can only say this is not what is advertised and it shows very poor engineering and customer service by LG.

Broken water pipe didn’t help to make this a painless install. Still had to pay for install even though they couldn’t complete it. They did unbox and install washer & dryer on their respective pedestals. I made plumbing repair and installed both washer and dryer myself. Upon opening the washer door, I noticed the rubber door gasket was installed with a slight twist that causes the gasket to fold in places where it shouldn’t. It doesn’t seem to be leaking at this point, but I worry about the long term. I can’t believe this wasn’t spotted in the factory…or wherever they put in the accessories for shipping. The twist is quite apparent. I expected better QC from LG. Oh well! I’ve put in a repair ticket. Hopefully it won’t be painful to have LG fix the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my old front load washer for 11 years and the pump went out so I replaced it with this. Now I'm wondering why I didn't do this sooner! I LOVE this washer!!! It cleans my clothes so much better than even my old one. They just smell so much better after coming out of this washer. I love all the features and all the washing options. I'm still learning them all, but my favorite feature so far is the turbo wash! It's so fast! My other favorite feature is the app that connects to the washer which alerts me when my load is done and can customize the download options. And it keeps track of how many loads I'm doing which is handy for when I need to clean the barrel. This thing is AMAZING!!!! Now I'm wishing I could get the matching dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my nearly 13-year-old red steam washer/dryer set which I dearly loved. Unfortunately the red color was discontinued; I'm getting use to the black steel but my laundry room isn't as cheery. I was terribly disappointed to discover there isn't a tub light because I wouldn't have purchased this model had I noticed prior to install, definitely a mistake. I am impressed with the Turbo Wash, and with the addition of a Sidekick I'm done with laundry in half the time. I also really like the Thin Q app, being able to check the status of my laundry from anywhere and the notifications are so helpful. I loved my old set and didn't think I'd notice a difference in performance but I definitely do. Hoping this set is as reliable as my last!

I upgraded to this washer and I can’t stop smiling whenever it is laundry day. The clothes do not get soaked and I am notified when it is done. I love the AI technology to decipher how long the load needs to be in the wash. I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer a couple of weeks ago. Clothes and towels come out clean! I have some dry clean only and used the steam feature. I did each dress separately that came out perfect. I put the LG app on my phone and set up was easy. Let’s me know stuff is done I can pause it and there’s a bunch of wash settings to use. I don’t have any wool clothing but there’s a setting for it. No regrets at all.

When you fill the washing machine it will sense the amount/weight of the laundry and that will determine the length of wash. You are amble to change the spin and temp. I put a large load of my husbands muddy work clothes in and I was able to give an extra rinse and I was very impressed how well it washed all of the mud and grease off of his pants. And is also delicate on my other laundry that does not need a heavy duty wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of the new washer and dryer! The capacity is great. The drums inside are stainless steel. I still haven’t learned how to work all the features on it yet so I’m just using the the preset dials. Because my laundry room is so small we were able to buy a stackable attachment to set one on top of the other. The dryer set up on top of the washer. Now it looks and fits great! It washes and dries really well. I would recommend it to anyone!

We had to sell our first set because we moved to a new home that had a gas hook-up for the dryer instead of electric. The new set it very quiet. There are so many options on both appliances that ensure that no matter my needs LG has me covered. They are both energy savers. They are very sleek looking. And both handle extra large loads with ease which cuts down on loads. I am able to remotely start both which is convenient. I just can't say enough about my love for my washer and dryer. I felt the same about our old set as well. I will always buy LG.

We decided to build our retirement tiny home and stay put. When we finished the construction and painting of our little home we started looking for the appliances and cabinets. I wanted a gas stove but gas was not an option in our area. I settled on a electric stove but I was not happy with it at all. I sent it back and we were again without a stove. Through further investigation I found out that we could have propane. I didn't realize that the GE gas stove could easily be converted to propane! I was SO happy! I purchased a gas stove that has convection and air fry and the suface has 4 burners with a grill plate in the middle .... I love, love, love my GE gas stove! We have owned our stove for 4 months and 12 days! Thank you.

My favorite things are the wifi/app connectivity, the spin cycle is incredible, the clothes are completely rung out after the cycle and take no time to dry. They are also PRETTY and fancy! I'm short so that helps! However, I wish there is an option to change the door to left instead.. I found out that it couldn't be change so I had to maneuver to open the washer which is something I wish I could change. Beside that, the washer itself is wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few days ago and have doe 8 loads of laundry so far. I replaced my 15 year old Maytag with this. I do like the fact that this does not have an agitator like the top load washers do. At first I thought it would be weird, but I can actually wash my larger comforters and pillows in this machine. I'm still getting used to all the new settings that come with this machine. But my clothes come out clean and it does the job. The spin cycle is quiet, I actually had to listen to make sure the washer was running. Not used to not hearing my machine shake and make a ton of noise. I did notice tho that I do have to wipe down the door in between washings as water does cling to it. Doesn't leak, just hangs there.

The spinning is quiet enough and not loud at all. This washer does wash and dry good,It spin drys very well to where thin material can be hung dry. We are very happy with this washer and like the functionality and the look. Super quiet, efficient . This washer uses a lot less water than other washer. I like the door magnet to keep it slightly ajar when not using, and prevent mold forming in the door. Love the tempered glass door that look stylish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new washer! This LG washing machine replaced an old Kenemore that was on it's last leg. I am very happy with the load capacity. It tackles a full weeks worth of clothes for both daughters in one load and we've even successfully washed our king comforter. The load options are easy to choose and also make your own. We tend to wash our items in cold water more often, so we switch it to "normal" and then manually click the water temp button. I've also been able to hit the pause button and throw items in that I missed when I started the load. This is usually within 5 minutes of starting the load. I was leary about front load washers because of the mold horror stories, so I decided to be more proactive and I leave a hand towel in my bin of laundry products to wipe down the rubber casket and door when I am done with my final load of the day. I have worked this machine endlessly for the past 4 weeks and have noticed only one thing that makes me leary and it is the amount of water that is left in the detergent reservoir after the load is done. It's not a lot, but enough to dump several drips out to ensure there's no water just hanging around. If you're not overwhelmed by options, I would totally recommend this washer (dryer set). It's easy to figure out, but I feel like it might overwhelm my mother in-law, who still specifically requests a flip phone when she needs a new cell phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After three week of service it is performing as advertised, no bad surprises. Washer is extremely quiet and stable besides being very frugal with water usage. One nice attribute is the short washing cycle for most of the normal loads. The washer display even tells you what the length of the cycle will be, very convenient. The WiFi app has also performed very well. With the laundry in the basement and the washer’s quiet operation, it informs us when the wash load is done, saving any unnecessary trips down to the laundry. Speaking of the WiFi, I had a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman, Thomas, in the LG tech department help me set up the app.
