I had this unit for 2 days. I did 5 loads. On the second day, I came into the laundry area, and there was a large puddle of water on the floor, soap bubbles coming out of the back and water droplets all over the front. Who knows how much actually spilt. After mopping it all up, I had to use a fan on the back for 2 days. I called and was referred to the installers, they came out and confirmed it wasn't an install issue. They contacted LG, and within "24 business hours" I should have my answer. I am very upset at this. Also the washer is much louder than I thought it would be. The filling and draining is not up to par for being a new unit. P.S. I was only washing two pairs of pants and a pair of shorts. It cant be overloaded, etc. I also only put in a small amount of detergent.

The most sleek and gorgeous washer and dryer combo. Love it.

Perfect for our 'Ageing in Place' renovation. All the controls are in the middle which makes it very easy to reach. It's small footprint fit perfectly in our closet while still providing a full sized load capacity, unlike other all in one stack-able units. It does make some unique noises which takes some getting use to, however it is relatively quiet. It handled a queen size comforter with ease, something our top loader could not do. The price may seem to be expensive but considering the load capacity, ease of use and small footprint, it is definitely worth every penny. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is s new build. The laundry room is not finished . The first items in are the LG Wash Tower.

I purchased this at first just to for space saving as i redidy launched room. HOWEVER this machine is awesome. Features controls look and wifi makes this machine one of the best appliance thus far. Im washing everyday. The interactions with my home devices makes this unique and awesome.

The steam is another great feature. The clothes come out fabulous. I'm so happy to have purchased the washer/ dryer tower and I recommend to anyone.

I have had this hooked up and going for 2 months now. It is so easy to use and will fit in a smaller space. But it is the same size as the other washer I have. Love the turbo wash, 4.5 capacity, and liked I could get it in gas. Most of all controls are at waist high and very easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I switched from the stand-alone washer and dryer to the tower, I thought I'd have to compromise on the size of the load I can wash at a time, but I really don't. The unit is much roomier inside than I expected and can hold a good size load. I've been holding off on remodeling my laundry room until I could find a tower that would meet my needs and have the controls in a place where I can easily reach them without needed a stepping stool (and I'm 5'9") and this is it. It does a great job on the small loads without wasting time or energy by adjusting the runtime based on the size of the load and other settings, it does not wobble when it's running even with a bigger load in the dryer and the close come out wrinkle-free (as long as I fold them right away I'm don't have to stem). I also love the WiFi feature and love that I can get notifications when my load is done since I cannot hear the chime from upstairs or the garage.

We had an all-in-one whirlpool, it was a total dud. Got one of these a few weeks ago and i must say it feels soooo great to have a washer and dryer that works with no errors! I also must say that i find it exciting to do the laundry now as it seems like less of a chore and more like just a fun task. This machine is quiet. If it is unbalanced or you have an old home that sits a little catty wampus, the thing can auto stabilize and level itsself internally. Get it because this thing is ALL THAT!!

This unit allowed us to tuck the washer and dryer into a corner and make the space beautiful. We are having a cabinet built to surround it. I purchased this on 12/31/2020 sight unseen. It was delivered on 02/08/21. It was worth the wait. I purchased it because all of the other Laundry Centers were so tall that I would have to stand on a step stool to get the clothes out of the dryer. So if you're vertically challenged like I am I would highly recommend this product. So easy to use. Washes and dries in no time at all. Clothes actually come out clean. Just a side note. Remember to drain your washer as instructed. After using it for a month I was surprised to see how much water drained out. Also wipe around the rubber seal and trays to keep things dry and by all means leave the door open for a little while after wiping it down.

I can reach the buttons in the middle, love the large size, and that I can connect from the app which tells me when the tub needs cleaned & laundry is done. It also knows the dryer setting after the washer is done...It fits into the space perfectly.

The LG Electronics 27 in. Black Steel WashTower Laundry Center with 4.5 cu. ft. Front Load Washer and 7.4 cu. ft. Electric Dryer is a state-of-the-art system that conserves space while giving the capacity to get through big washing job with ease. It has a sleek contemporary design which adds style and advanced technology to ease tedious laundry tasks. The system is not difficult to set up if you have experience with basic tools (Channel lock wrench, Phillip screwdriver, box end wrenches and possibly electrical tools). The electric dryer must be wired using a dryer cable rated for 3 or 4 wire connections using 30 amp/10 gauge/240 volt rated cable made to connect to an existing 240-volt outlet. I would suggest having the unit professionally installed if you have no experience with this kind of setup and/or require a 240 outlet as code regulations are in place for installation in my state. Further, improper installation could cause a fire, and/or damage the unit and void insurance claims if damage occurs to your home. I am a trained Building Maintenance Service Technician with years of experience; therefore, I set up the unit myself in about a half hour adjusting my setup to accommodate the new unit in a previously wired and plumbed laundry room. My unit came with everything I needed to set the system up. The only thing I had to have was the ThinQ app to operate the system remotely. You will also need a venting system for the dryer. If you are not tech savvy, YouTube has videos that can walk you through setting the system up with your existing Wi-Fi. With that said, I love the large capacity of the washer and dryer. The smart features combine remote operation and observation that saves time, reduces the need to figure out the best settings for water and energy savings. It has a built-in AI sensor that customize cycles taking out the guess work by detecting fabric texture and load size, then automatically select the right wash/dry motions, temperatures and more for advanced fabric care. I love the dryer feature which will allow periodic tumbling after the drying is complete to avoid wrinkles up to three hours if you forget to unload the dryer. The TurboSteam function prevents wrinkles while removing allergens and disinfecting your loads. The washer has Five powerful jets which spray clothes from multiple angles improving the removal of dirt from your laundry and reducing the time needed to wash. This LG ELECTRONICS 27 IN. WHITE SINGLE UNIT WASHTOWER LAUNDRY CENTER WITH 4.5 CU. FT. WASHER AND 7.4 CU. FT. ELECTRIC DRYER is my FOURTH LG unit I have owned in the past 8 years and the technology just keeps on improving. This washtower is replacing my fairly new 11 month old LG unit to allow a folding table. With a little cabinet reworking, I was able to fit this gem into my laundry room in no time. The units build quality is consistent with previous models I have owned and LG's reputation as a leader of innovative features is why my family continues to use this line of premium washers. In the past 8 years of LG product ownership, I have never had one service call. Absolutely none- Wow! This new LG washtower is just one of many to choose from but I would like to offer a few helpful tips to consider when comparing this unit to other washers and brands. 1. My clothes have always come out clean using an LG front loader washer. They never smell musty and are never left soiled. 2. I have never had a mold issue with an LG washer. The allowance allowed to prop the door open is adequate to allow airflow around the seal and the door does not protrude into the walkway. A simple wipe is all that is needed. 3. The clothes are always spun out extremely well reducing my dry time. This is the efficiency of a front load washer. They are designed to run longer at low energy usage, use less detergent and spin clothing dryer to reduce energy costs. Give this technology a chance and you will be happy with the savings in operation costs and it's effectiveness. 4. The sanitize and steam feature is a must-have for homes with children-especially for those sick moments. Moms will appreciate these features the most. 5. The unit is very quiet and with babies in the home, this is a plus. The unit is quiet for use close to tv rooms. 6. These units are heavy and stay in place. This is not your mom's old top loader walking all over the place that needs constant attention. These units will self remedy most unbalanced loads on their own. 7. The lighted drums are a nice feature and can be accessed while the unit is in operation. 8. LADIES: My wife is 5 ' 2" and this unit is perfect height to load the dryer. That is the truth- but it is nice to have extra features if needed. 10. The glass door on this new LG washtower design is more flat, allowing more laundry space. Very helpful in tighter laundry rooms. The glass also adds more sound deadening properties. 11. The blue controls and drum lights incorporated in this unit are a talk piece in one's laundry. Simply awesome and very visible. 12. The quick start guide is helpful and can be attached to the side of the unit for quick access. Great for the men in the home. Cool! 13. The doors are not reversible but not a deal breaker. They do open with a wider range than most front loaders and allow adequate access. 14. The end of cycle melody can be turned off. Nice touch here LG. 15. Finally the unit has proven patented motor technology that is superior to all other brands. Google this tech-you will be amazed. LG has once again outdone themselves with the many features and innovations built into this quality machine. As a long term LG owner, I highly recommend this unit if it is in one's budget. You get what you pay for and more with this unit. Not to mention a long lasting and low maintenance unit. Once again- I am very pleased!

We wanted to make an upstairs laundry in our house and thought this stacked unit would save space. It's only 27" wide and about 74" tall, so it was a perfect candidate. I think one of the things that saves space is that it is a single unit (not separately stacked units), and they've combined both washer and dryer controls in the middle where they are more easily accessed. The bad part about it being on combined unit is that it's HEAVY to move and you should probably have 3 strong guys to move it. Set up is not very difficult, but know that you'll need an extra hose kit for the dryer, in addition to the hot and cold hoses, They include a splitter for the cold water hose so one can go to the washer and the other do the dryer. A hose for the dryer? That's because it has a steam dry function, so that's why you need a water source for it. They sell a dryer hose kit that includes one hose and a shorter hose along with a splitter, but LG gives you a plastic splitter to screw your hoses onto. I opted to use the metal one that came with the dryer hose kit. It will depend on what kind of 220 plug and outlet you have on how you'll connect the plug cord to the dryer. The instructions are pretty clear what to do, though. Once you get it all set up, operation is intuitive. There are 2 buttons, one for the dryer on top and the other for the washer on the bottom. Just press which one you want and the controls light up for that one. I tested it with the default settings and it seemed to do a good job. There is a nice blue light that comes on inside when you have it activated and the door is opened. Makes it easy to see your duds. The washing machine has a little drawer where you can put your pre-wash, laundry detergent, and such with max fill levels clearly marked. The washing machine will start out by tumbling several times, stopping, then changing directions before it gets into its full wash mode. At the end of both the wash and dry cycles it plays a pleasant little song telling you it's done. The digital readout always tells you how much time is left in your cycle too. When the spin cycle is running you can just sense the power. It sounds like a turbo engine, but it's not loud at all. it's pretty quiet when running. It did a nice job of washing and drying a load and it was very simple to operate. If a guy like me that never does laundry could figure it out without reading the directions, you know it's easy!. I didn't have our laundry room ready due to remodeling (that's why the room looks so bad), but I didn't want to wait till then to test it, so forgive the appearance of the remodeling in the photos. This is going to look great in our new laundry room. It has lots of bells and whistles others we've looked at didn't have, but it doesn't sacrifice ease of use. the quality is simply outstanding!

This is an all-in-one smart laundry center for husbands that don’t do laundry. Built in artificial intelligence in the wash cycle makes it easier to wash clothes for me since I don’t have to make any special adjustments to the settings. I just push normal and add detergent via the built in tray or use pods directly into the tub. The unit will determine the load size and fabric type. Mind the instructions though and only use HE (high-efficiency) detergent or you can cause over-sudsing and damage. I use Tide pods which are HE but noticed that because this is an energy efficient product, it doesn’t use as much water as a normal machine so the pod didn’t dissolve completely. I’d stick with liquid soap and fabric softener. The water conservation is especially helpful since I have a water well which was prone to running dry with too much daily household water usage; so I really appreciate this feature. The other feature I love is the steam feature in both washer and dryer to steam and sanitize. Sweaty clothes would never get clean as far as smell goes in my old washer and dryer. This product really simplifies laundry for me personally. I also really like the units design and color. The controls being located in the middle and reachable is convenient. The unit also freed up a ton of space in my basement since it only occupies half the footprint. As far as the connected ThinQ app goes, I’m still learning. Pairing had to be done manually and failed the first time but succeeded on the second. The app offers downloadable cycles for each unit based on the type of laundry you’re doing. Very neat and I’m currently trying one for my hunting clothes to steam and sanitize to remove traces of scent. The app also includes a diagnostic feature if there are any functionality issues I read. Have not used that feature yet however as it’s brand new. There’s really so much more to be said about this product, but I can’t write a 5 page report without losing readers. I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with this product. I’m certainly not. Pro-tip though, for those that run the installation test like I did, make sure your exhaust hose is as short as possible as doesn’t contain more than 2 bends of you’ll get a vent restriction error. Once I moved the unit closer to the wall and collapsed the flexible hose that error went away. The manual says no more than 8 feet in hose length or this could cause the restriction error code; as it did with mine even though the exhaust hose was clean and clear.

WOW! LG is the name for quality appliances. This LG stackable washer n dryer have raised the bar on stackables. No need to have the typical washer 4 bath towels in the tiny washer and dryer...this LG feature FULL size washer n dryers in a stackable unit. The unit is solid and can not be separated into two units. The Digital touch pad operates both washer and dryer and is conveniently located between them instead of the typical controls on the top of the unit. Be aware as they are full sized they are heavy and tall. It can be a tough go of it trying to get the unit into a small space which is usually why a stackable W/D are needed. That said if you have the room which I did..78inches high and 28/29 wide..it opened up more room for me in my basement. It ships will all the accessories needed. Mine came with the electric dryer and easily fit into my existing outlet. It also feature an HE door for easy loading of detergent without the mess or waste. Less loads of laundry and more space for storage. This unit is an absolute winner.

LG makes great appliances and this new laundry tower is no exception. This system is loaded with functions on both the washer and dryer to make them some of the most efficient on the market. Besides all of the features we were drawn to the appearance as ours will be seen by guests. The design is modern and very sleek, they diffidently look the dollar amount spent on them. They are easy to use and the smart system takes care of the details. The stacked unit saves floor space if needed and makes loading and unloading the dryer very easy. Soap and fabric softener dispenser, lint trap are right in front, the dryer also has a sensor to tell you the exhaust airflow is reduced and needs cleared. The level of cleaning is fantastic with these machines, cloths come out clean and dry. I have a family member who also bought one of these and we both recommend them.

My old dryer was needing another door switch... This unit from LG solved that issue instantly. Although it is a stacked unit the front load access allows it to be a full size appliance. The washer analyzes the load and calculates the cycle. The user can select water temperature, soil level, # of spin cycles... all the parameters one might need. The dryer also has options for various settings. The laundry center is wi-fi capable with the ability to start, stop, check status and even send settings remotely, as well as sending a notification when the load is finished. So far it seems to wash more quickly and thoroughly and dry faster than my decades+ older units.

A beautiful powerhouse! I've never been so happy to do laundry. If you love the clean you get from a large frontload washer at a laundromat, you'll love this tower. A one piece unit, it doubles the floor space in your laundry room. With my extra space, I will be building a countertop for folding with storage beneath. This unit handles large loads. I can wash 2 twin comforters together and it even washed my medium-large dog bed. I like how both the washer and dryer sense your load and adjust accordingly. When I put a heavy load in the dryer and after I turned on the power, the dryer sensed it and picked the drying cycle itself- "heavy duty." All I had to do was push start. You can also adjust the preset cycles, such as the level of heat for the dryer or how many extra rinse cycles, you'd like, for the washer. (You can choose up to 3 extra rinses) This unit is also a smart unit. You can create your own specialized wash cycle in the app and download it to the machine. Then use it both in person or from the app. Meaning, you can start your wash or dry cycle when not at home (through the app.) It's a wonderful machine that works well- and works quietly and has a 10 year motor warranty.

This is a fantastic full sized washer dryer tower combo. It fit perfectly in our W/D closet. It is one unit (top and bottom do not separate) and weighs 360 lbs so you will need help getting it into place. The control panel is super easy to understand. The unit is stylish and the blue lighting is very cool. This unit has an electric dryer and the steam feature. Everything these days is connect and this is no exception. The app communicates with the washer and dryer allowing you to control almost all operations and check in on the progress of your loads. I'm not sure if I will use this but you never know. Both the washer and dryer are extremely quiet. You literally cant hear the washer in the next room. Features include allergen removal by steam as well as wrinkle reduction drying just to name a couple.This is a full featured set and you will not be disappointed. The gentle front load will preserve our clothes while doing a super job on cleaning. The only negative comment is that the installation into a closet was not easy. All of the cords and hoses had to be extra long and it was a puzzle to get them all to fit in the back. Give yourself at least 40 inches in the back if you can.

l am in love with the LG wash tower. It works quickly. I can do more loads in way less time. Due to limited space in my laundry room I had to get a stackable unit. One of the features I love is that the controls for both are in the middle where they can be easily reached by a petite person. I ran a cycle of towels on heavy duty and then the dryer automatically knew to set its cycle to heavy duty also and knew how much drying time. The towels were dry with just 1 cycle. I have never experienced that with any dryer before. I also noticed how much cleaner and softer my clothes were. It has lots of features which I’m still learning including the thinQ app. All in all a great machine and worth every penny, especially for a busy family. I am amazed.
