The mfg warranty is only one year and it failed midway through the second year after light use. The Smart Diagnosis feature is a total joke. LG doesn't support it over the phone nor with their ThinQ app, and they have no intention of making it work for their microwaves. The "10 Year Warranty" printed right on the front of the microwave is only for the magnetron part, which is the one part in a microwave that rarely ever fails, as it contains no electronics or moving parts. LG referred me to some shady local repairmen who received nothing but 1-star reviews for cheating their customers.

Purchased this on 6/30/2019. It did not heat evenly from the start, leaving cold spots in food and requiring longer heating periods. My 10 year old microwave worked better. It stopped heating this week--did not last 12 months. I would not recommend. I find LG is hit or miss on the quality of their products--have also had issues with their TV's, and am not sure at this point if I will continue to purchase the LG brand.

I purchased my first model in Dec 2017 and within 3 months the unit broke. It basically started sending out sparks from behind the little plastic plate on the inside wall. LG replaced it and now about 2 years later the problem started again. It makes a loud noise and sparks are flying and it looks like a metal piece is melting. See photo. This is a poorly made appliance that doesn’t seem to last longer than a few years. I will never purchase an LG microwave again.

Purchased one in July 2019 and it failed in Feb 2020. Purchased at Home Depot with gift card. LG would not honor their warranty. Never will buy a LG product again.....and will encourage others not to buy LG products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this microwave about a month ago and so happy with it. It’s the sleekest microwave I’ve seen. Sleek modern lines. No visible buttons on the front. To set the time, you swipe your finger on the front just like you do on your phone. It’s way cool. Heats things up fast and evenly. Seems very well built as well. Very impressed with it. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressive appliance in a small package! Love, love, love! My heating needs are minimal and I have a small kitchen. I wasn't considering a 0.9 cu. ft. initially. But as soon as I discovered the internal cavity dimensions were slightly larger than what I was accustomed to but the exterior dimensions measure smaller overall, it was a no-brainer. Plus, the look is very sleek, far surpassing any of the competitive microwaves that I considered. Somewhat pricier, yes. But with all the boxes it checks for me, the decision was easy. No bulky pull handle and no clunky push lever for opening. The discretely designed door handle is the end of the door, further adding to its sharp appearance. Unlike in the photos, the stainless on the front door isn't as bright. And the case is grey, not super bright stainless. In my opinion, again adding to the sleek appearance. The one item I would question is the cavity height measurement. I don't feel that the height measurement of 8.97" is the cavity's useable height measurement. From the base plate to the lowest point of it's ceiling, it measures less than 8.97". Maybe the manufacturer could advise on this. However, I'm very pleased, and completely satisfied with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I got married in July 1995 and received a sharp carousel microwave for a wedding gift it worked flawlessly until my three daughters got together and decided we needed a new one the LG they purchased is really nice lots of bells and whistles lots of cool features microwaves have come a long way since 1995.

DO NOT BUY!!! FIRE HAZARD!!! This microwave has caused nothing but problems for our family. 3 weeks after purchasing the microwave plate split and broke down the middle. Thankfully I had registered the microwave. Unfortunately, LG's customer service is HORRIBLE! After navigating their extremely non user-friendly customer service website, I was able to contact them only to be bounced around from department to department with people who did not care nor had any desire to help. Eventually I was able to talk with a non-fluent foreigner through broken english. I ended up spending an hour and a half validating the warranty and ordering a replacement part. The story sadly doesn't end here. 4 months later my teenager was attempting to reheat chicken nuggets when the microwave started to spark, smoke, and caught on fire. Luckily, I was in the kitchen to mitigate the crisis before it got out of hand. How often do you leave the microwave unattended to multitask because reheating food will require several minutes? How often do you leave teenagers at home trusting in the safety of the equipment? How important is safety to you? DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!! In fact we will no longer be buying anything LG from here forward. We also spent $800 on a new LG dishwasher that died 2 years after purchase. Sadly it died just out of warranty date. LG ≠ Safe, Quality, or Good Customer service!

Replaced a 20+ year old microwave with this one. So far, very pleased with my purchase. Heats quickly & I like the slide bar on the outside to adjust the time. Fit in my overhead cabinet without any problems and accommodates all of my microwave cooking utensils.

I bought this microwave and after getting used the new interface which is kind of cool the bars of the digital clock are failing. So now the cook time and display time don’t work. I believe i am out of warranty so they won’t help me other than send me to some repair shop in the hood. I tried to see if i could replace it myself but to be honest. A digital clock isn’t something that should start to fail in a year.

Wow, what a horrible experience! After opening the box and setting up the microwave we noticed that the trim pieces on the door don't line up with the trim pieces on the panel. For over $200 it should look good and the parts should line up. I contacted LG customer service and they told me not to worry about it, it's ok, as long as it works it's fine. Uh... no... So I returned it and got a 2nd unit, got that one out and set it up. Even though everything looked good and the packaging was all intact and not damaged in any way, the door trim wasn't fastened properly. So if I pull on that side of the door the whole trim piece flexes out. I contacted LG customer service again and they tell me they'll issue me a refund for what I paid, that sounded good only to find out they want me to jump through all these hoops including going back and buying ANOTHER LG microwave (who in their right mind would purchase a 3rd LG microwave after the first two have quality problems)? HORRIBLE Quality control !!!! Horrible LG Customer Service Experience.

Cooking is the best I've ever seen in a microwave I absolutely love that this thing is quiet when in operation! LG did a fantastic job on this microwave! I love the touch controls on front rather than all the buttons on the front (instead they are on the inside when you open the door) gives it a very sleek and beautiful design! This thing has blown me away! I will definitely buy from LG from now until forever. :) Also the Chimes when food or timer is done. No more beep beep beep. Lol

It pairs so perfectly with all of the other LG appliances in my kitchen. It is huge so no more having an issue with plates fitting in my microwave. Very easy to clean and it even plays a little tune when your food is done. It heats up a lot faster and hotter than a traditional microwave so you only need half the time on the timer.

The LG NeoChef 2.0 cu. ft. is a powerful microwave that cooks evenly, especially compared to microwaves not have an inverter. Even cooking means less spatter from overheated food. It's very easy to keep clean. Sensor cook and sensor reheat work well, and were worth the effort to learn their operation. Some items take longer because the oven shifts to a lower power to finish the cooking or reheating. The fact it has fewer buttons has not been an issue. Several buttons are shared: Start/enter/+30 sec. or timer/clock. It does not have one-touch buttons for minutes. My hack is to use the sensor options or to tap in 55 or 66 for one minute, etc.. I compared many models and am very happy with the value and features of this model. Regarding comments I read while shopping: The oven plays 4 notes on start and a 10-note ditty at the end, which repeats once a minute for 4 minutes. I do not find these too loud or too irritating, but some might. Both the microwave operation and the beeps are much quieter than my same power oven by GE, bought circa 2004. The 16" turntable is supported by a hexagonal piece which has wheels on 3 corners and tabs on the ones in between for stability. Fingerprints do show on the stainless steel exterior, but after 3 weeks in our kitchen the contrast has mellowed considerably.

This is a very nice microwave at a low price. At first I was skeptical, but after having seen it and worked with it first hand it is a quality product. I also bought the option trim kit, which was easy to install, and the finished look is professional grade. I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of the music this microwave plays when it starts and stops. My LG washing machine does this too. Wish it could be turned down or off. No chance of sneaking a late night snack with this thing as the whole house will hear it. I also wish it had a couple of quick keys..press a 1 minute button and it starts cooking immediately. This is a basic oven, but it is also at a basic price. But all in all its a winner, whether it sits on your counter or gets mounted with the trim kit.

This microwave oven is a fine appliance. It heats evenly and fairly quickly. The control panel is not lit and is found behind the door.

This is a great compact microwave. It takes up such a small space on the countertop. I love the touch sliding timer on the outside of the door, and it plays a little tune when your food is ready. Delivery and set up was quick and easy. We've had it about 5 weeks, and it is great so far. Perfect for our small break area.

This NEOCHEF 1.5 CU. FT. CounterTop Microwave In Black Stainless Steel is AWESOME ! Not only does it look very nice, but it really has some good features. As you can see by my pictures, it has an LED light, and is bright enough for inside. I do however, wished LG would have made their control buttons light up as well. That is why the FEATURES is rated a "4". The Control buttons are actually out of site, when door is closed, pretty neat thinking for keeping kids from playing with the buttons !!! This microwave does have plenty of power, gets ingredients hot quickly, as you can see the steam in the heated cup of water for only 50 seconds ! Also plays a tune when you turn on, and when it shuts off. Overall, a great microwave !

A quality microwave at an affordable cost, I love the black stainless steel it's a great addition to your kitchen or break room it has many easy to use soft touch features to make it operating a sinch, it’s very quiet considering the noise some microwaves can make . This unit is 1.5 cubic ft. It’s the perfect size for the average families. I definitely recommend this product and enjoy using it
