Stable turntable, this is the first I seen with 6 wheels not 3. Easy to clean inside and out. Great for a small apt. My only dislike is there are no numbers to push.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this compact microwave to use in my small office to re-heat and cook lunches and snacks. For its size I didn’t expect too much in the way of performance, but boy was I in for a surprise! It may be both small and lightweight in size, but it packs a full 1040W of power, so cooks extremely fast – just like your full-size unit at home! It is also extremely quiet in operation. It costs a little more than equivalent brands, but I have a lot more trust and reassurance in having the LG badge on the front of the unit, and the 10 year magnetron warranty, as, let’s face it, when a microwave fails, it’s nearly always because the magnetron has packed up. The unit is very clean and stylish and is finished in an attractive, all-over, stainless-steel look. I love the fact that the most commonly used touch-sensor controls are built into the outside glass panel of the door and the other controls are concealed behind the door flap. It’s a clever touch and gives the unit a very sleek and modern look. There are plenty of quick access auto cook, re-heat and defrost programs built in that are really useful once you get accustomed to using them, or simply hit start and use the touch sensitive slider to adjust cooking time if you’re in a hurry! Feature wise, it is fully loaded and I especially liked the very bright LED interior lighting and the hexagonal designed turntable ring under the glass plate - no more rattling or toppled jugs of coffee like what you get when using a conventional microwave! It also has a very attractive, graphite colored, anti-bacterial interior which is very easy to clean, demonstrated admirably when a ready-meal exploded on me a while back! It wiped clean in a flash using just damp paper towels and a little hand soap! Why can’t all microwaves be this simple? You will also love the touch sensitive bar on the outside glass panel that can be used to increase or decrease cooking times just by swiping your finger, the tuneful, end-of-cooking chimes that are repeatedly played so you don’t forget your food and the child safety, start button lock function. All small touches, but shows that someone put a great deal of thought into the design of this microwave. Negatives? Not much! The only thing I would change would be to move the timer button from behind the door, to the front glass panel as you have to open the door to access it. Not a big deal if you don’t use this feature much, but if you do, it would be quicker and easier. As it is, you can still shut the door once you’ve started it and watch the countdown on the large, digital display. Overall, a great little unit and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a feature rich, stylish and compact microwave. Would be ideal for smaller kitchens, dorms, apartments, RVs etc. You’ll pay a little more for it up-front, but the design, great features, 10 year magnetron warranty and the LG badge will give you confidence in your purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this microwave one day, but I'm very pleased with the design. It fits in a corner freeing up counter space. It has the power and capabilities of a large unit. LG has managed to condense everything into this sleek unit, large dinner plates fit fine. The touch pad is hidden so it compliments my other LG appliances but it is easy to use with finger touch controls. It looks expensive, works great and cleans easily because of the rounded interior design.

This microwave has sleek, modern design. Most of the controls are hidden from view. You still have access to turning it on without opening the door. There is also a slider control to add or subtract cooking time by sliding your finger left or right across the bar. Cool idea. It's powerful for a smaller microwave although I think it's the perfect size for heating or reheating most items. The interior features LED lighting and a six wheel base under the turntable as opposed to the more traditional three wheel base. This makes the turntable quieter and more stable. The unit itself runs very quietly and has a very pleasant, almost musical tone when it's finished heating. Love it.

Inverter technology allows for more even cooking, heating, and thawing. Hand grip to open and close is designed inside of the door for greater comfort when opening, closing, reduced risk of scratches, and decreased finger prints on the door. Revolving inside round table is supposed by 6 wheels allowing for greater weight tolerance. Programming panel is located behind the door with interval extension and on/off buttons on front door panel. Fewer finger prints. Inside dementions are 11.5 inches wide, 7.5 inches tall, and 13.5 inches deep. Antimicrobial coated inside for easy cleaning. Thawed a medium chicken with ease. This is one microwave that will look great on your kitchen counter or kitchen cart.

After the disappointment of purchasing a microwave that rusted on the interior, I am thrilled to have the LG Stainless Steel Countertop Microwave. The entire glass and metal design is sleek and elegant, easy to clean and easy to use. This appliance is compact and lighter than my previous microwave. I am happy that the magnetron comes with a ten year warranty (if you have a smart phone you can easily register it). The glass turntable configuration is different, with a six-wheeled ring underneath to improve stability, especially for heavier items. The controls are easy to program and to use, with various presets or custom settings as you desire. It did take me a little while to get used to the fact that the control panel is both behind and on the front door! Best of all, the inverter can vary power levels, which keeps you from either over or under heating your foods. I am very pleased with this appliance.

My old microwave had an interior rust issue under the round glass rotation turntable grooves. The white paint had worn off exposing the base metal which then rusted. It was not an LG. So it has to be retired before it made us sick... This unit a LG NeoChef has 6 wheels for the turntable so is much smoother when rotating. My old unit only had three wheels and made terrible noises. And piece of mind this LG NeoChef unit comes with a 10 year warranty on the Magnetron.It is the perfect size for me and the wife 0.9 cubic ft. Easy clean finish inside and out. Anti-Bacterial Coating. Looks absolutely great and the microwave works perfectly. Heat water for tea, reheat leftovers, popcorn made perfect. Bright led and push button controls make using this microwave extremely easy. Tempered Glass window so you can view what you are heating. It has also new tech. which is LG Smart Inverter that it automatically produces variable power that cooks your items more evenly as well as better defrosting. That spells no more burnt edges and ice cold centers. I love the microwave and the wife loves it even more...Great product two thumbs up with confidence. The microwave was delivered by home depot setup and I must say they delivered it on time within the window of time notified and would of set it up for me as well but I told them that was not necessary. They said and provided a phone number to call in case of any issues damages etc. There was none all delivered my expert hands. Great delivery too! Thank you again Home Depot.

LG Electronics 0.9 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave in Stainless Steel is a stylish looking appliance. It has a satin finish stainless enclosure with a smoke glass front and what they call SmoothTouch glass controls. Certain controls are integrated into the glass front and when you press or gesture on the glass it changes the microwave settings. When you open the door you have the full complement of controls behind the glass on the right side. On the glass you can start/stop the microwave or change the run time with a finger gesture. Behind the glass are all the standard microwave control options as well as the timer on the glass including the running clock. Also, an independent kitchen timer can be used to time any cooking non-microwave task as well as a child lock mechanism so the microwave doesn't start up accidentally. The exterior is about 14 1/2-inches deep, 11 3/4-high and 18 3/4-inches wide. This size will fit nicely in the space under a kitchen cabinet and adds a modern touch to its placement. When using the microwave I really liked the bright interior LED light that not only lets you see what you're doing, but shows clearly food splatters that needs cleaning. Cleaning up is really easy just a damp cloth and you're done. Since the outside controls are in the glass they just wipe clean, too. I like that the exterior is easily cleaned too with the same damp cloth. As to the interior space, its about 12 1/2-inches wide by8 3/4-inch high by 13 1/4-inches wide. I had an old microwave for years and the space is slightly bigger than my old one so am a happy with the size. What I really like are the bright LED displays on the control panel, easy to check that everything is set which is a vast improvement over my older unit. My old one wasn't nearly so bright and took an effort to read whereas this at just a glance can be seen clearly. In the end the proof is in the pudding and it heated up my desserts just fine. I tried defrosting hamburger meat and reheating leftovers, no problem and about 20 percent faster than my old microwave. Everything I tried came out good, evenly heated down to the center. In defrosting the glass controls come in handy adding more time without opening the door and the interior light shows how its defrosting. Obviously, I haven't done everything, but the times I've used it was pleased. The only thing I suggest be sure the the size is the right one for your family needs. For my situation, its perfect, looks great, has the latest functionality and a delight in the kitchen.

In line with other reviews, the open door manual release is deficient. Plastic “crap.” Will certainly break off. The oven itself s/b a 5 star, but it’s ruined by this important defect.

Microwave smells like it is burning up,started the first time I turned it on and a month later still smells,I emailed the company and got the run around, I am done with LG products.

Same issue as some have reported: Bought this June 2022, Magnetron dangerously sparked and fried January 2024. LIMITED WARRANTY expires after 1 year. Contacted LG Support with similar results "Waste of time - they will ask you a bunch of questions and eventually tell you your unit is no longer under warranty, despite 10-year magnetron warranty". Informed that a repair shop needs to diagnose issue = $$$, then install new magnetron = $$$. Cheaper to purchase a brand new unit. Cautionary tale...

This is the third one in 4 years. This last one is even cheaper built than the one it replaces. It does do it's work but longevity is not there. It is just that the stainless steel trim around the microwave is about 2 times the price of the appliance which basically condemns you to buy the same again.

If I had known this microwave made such obnoxious tones and chimes and thereis no way to silence them , I would not have bought this microwave !

I love it. Had it a few weeks only but love the sensor cooking and the way it looks the delivery was great thank you!

It’s a nice small size, but it’s so light every time you want to open the door the whole microwave moves!!!

I can’t see the controls. They don’t light up. It makes it very difficult to program.

I'm on my third of these units. The first had the door button break and I had to replace the entire display panel to fix a small plastic hinge. Soon after the magnetron burned up, and LG told me it would cost as much as a new oven to replace it.....under warranty? Bought a second unit, careful with the button, broke in 10 months. It's just me and my wife. No kids abusing this unit. Lightly used.........broken plastic opening button. Fortunately, this one is still under warranty.
