it's easy to assemble. however, you have to get right up to the fan to feel the air.

I purchased a Lasko fan twenty years ago and it still works. So I expected the same quality from the 16 inch Fan Stand #1646. I haven't even gotten to use it yet. Assembly got as fan as putting the Spinner on the fan Pin and the Spinner did not fit the Pin. Way too small to even begin to screw on the pin. Trying to make it fit just striped the treads in the Spinner. Now I am waiting for a replacement spinner. If the replacement doesn't fit I am returning this fan and buying another brand. No more Lasko.

This is a decent fan for the price. It's fairly quiet and produces a nice, comfortable breeze. It's nice that it oscillates back and forth to spread the breeze around. It's adequate for a bedroom, or other relatively small room. It's mostly plastic and seems kind of cheaply made. But I suppose that's why it is so inexpensive. If you're looking for an economical fan for a small room, this is a good choice.

I used to buy Lasko fans for years, this new fan doesn't compare to the oldest sturdy and taller fan. This new Lasko fan is made of weak plastic, is shorter for about 6" or more. The motor is too heavy causing that the fan goes down and it can't be tighten to avoid it. The base does not stay attached and if you want to move the fan to another room, the base falls out. we used the say bad plastic things are made in China, but in this case this one is made in USA. The only positive things are the fan speeds.

This fan has 3 speeds, adjustable height, 3 sleep timer options, and a remote control. I bought for my Bedroom to cool my room at night and I love it! I will be buying a second one for my guest bedroom.

This Lasko Adjustable-Height 16 inch Oscillating Pedestal Fan is quiet and pushes quite a bit of air. I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet this fan is, sometimes I can't even tell that it's on. It's also pretty easy to put together, my 10-year-old son was able to do it by himself. The air flow is fantastic, it really pushes a lot of air in any direction you want, and it oscillates if you don't want that direct flow in your face.

Poor airflow. Week.

I am using this Lasko 16 in. oscillating model Pedestal fan for the last one month - it is super easy to set this up & to adjust the height - No issues observed with Quality of the product - initially I was skeptical about the size, but it is worth every penny

I gave it 5 stars not because of the quality, but because of the air flow which is great! The quality of the fan is made of plastic and I was almost tempted to throw it away. I am glad I didn't. Once put together I was pleasantly surprised at how much air comes out of it. Very easy to put together and not bad for under $23. Overall I would recommend it.

These fans are actually pretty quiet and they work great in our bedrooms. One is adjusted shorter on a dresser in one room and the one in other room is adjusted tallest on the floor. We are very happy with them.

The fan definitely cools off the whole room. It’s extremely quiet and efficient.

Heard a loud snap on it and the screws holding it together by the motor had broken and fell off hunk of junk product

I purposely bought this specific fan to use on my back patio because the website shows this as an “indoor/outdoor” fan on the comparison took (see image included). I just opened the instructions to put it together and the instructions read “DO NOT use this Fan outdoors ....” I also didn’t realize the grey was priced higher than the black color option until I got home. I would recommend this only if you are NOT using it outdoors.

It went together very easily and I don’t mind that it’s light weight and all plastic. The main problem that I have with it is that even on low it creates a very large breeze which is too noisy for me at night. The remote works great. It was a good price and I will use it downstairs during the day when the sound doesn’t matter. I’m still looking for a powerful and quiet fan with a remote for night time

Very nice. Super quiet. Really easy to assemble. We use it on our patio to keep bugs from flying into the house when we leave the door open for my cat. Like the grey tone so it doesn’t show dust as white and black do.

I got this item on 6/2/19 and within 2 weeks it stopped working all of a sudden, tough used it barely only at nights.

Great fan, but the low is to fast. Bought it for a gentle breeze at night. Not so gentle. Moved it into the living room. Great for that area.

We bought these to add to our older Lasko fans, one of which finally conked out. I couldn't find anything on Amazon low priced like these, and I'm so glad I looked here. Lasko makes a good, low-priced fan, and these new ones fit right in!

Plug and play. Cools down the room. What can I say?

Not my first stand fan purchase but I managed to be pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The color, gray, gave the fan a modern feel as opposed to the glossy white I am used to and instead of four legs for support the fan rests on a wide, round base. The fan moves from the living room to the bedroom to aid the A/C nightly and rarely the base will detach itself. There is nothing specifically holding the pole into the base besides a tight fit so this is expected. Otherwise, solid fan for the price.
