Beware. Needs min 40W load
Saw comments about this not working and I had a similar experience
Installed it to run a fan but fan turned slowly as soon as the switch was activated. Didn’t work correctly at all and time buttons didn’t activate.
Then found my fan pulls less than 40W
So do many LED lights so beware of this before you buy it. It’s not clear at all. Less than 40W load then forget it.
Now I’m off to the store again to return this and get a different model. Sigh

Could not use switch to operate bathroom fan. I should have read usage better. I returned switches and purchased 1800 watt timer switches designed for fan operation.

Very easy to install, Works great, I also have the Woods brand and prefer the looks of it bette...
Very easy to install, Works great, I also have the Woods brand and prefer the looks of it better. Woods has a 5 minute button that I use l lot, The levitron is harder to know which button is which ( hard to read ) but for ease of installation the levitron was very simple.

Bought two of these for exhaust fans in bathroom. Both were non functional. No lights and no output. How does that even happen? ZERO testing? Dont waste your time(r).

I tried to use this with a bathroom exhaust fan and they are not compatible. The fan will only run at a very low RPM.

I'm not sure why Home Depot is caring this timer when the primary use of a timer is for ventilation fans. Be warned: This fan WILL NOT CONTROL A FAN! it is not stated in the packaging and probably leads to thousands of returns and disgruntled customers. Someone at home depot please notice that the one timer you carry in the store does not function for the use 90% of people buying them for. Get real guys- pay attention.

Easy to install and it works great. It is important to point out that there is a small switch under the bottom button that disables the timer and that arrives (or did in my case) in the "off" position. As a result at first I thought I wired the switch incorrectly which seems pretty hard to do. I noticed the switch (not having gone deep in reading the instructions) and moved the switch to the opposite position and everything worked just fine. I had to toggle through the different timer settings on my old switch which gave out after more than 20 years and I like this layout and design better.
