First, these switches are not white. They are a pale ivory. The switch plates that we have are WHITE and these look dirty next to them. Second, the idiotic idea of embossing "Leviton" on the switch... who made that decision. It's not a high end name, it brings zero value to the switch and it's an area that will just collect dirt and oils from peoples fingers. Go elsewhere to get your light switches.

These are excellent light switches. They are simple to install.

Did not care for the “Leviton” branding plastered on the front of the switch. Not sure when Leviton started doing this on all their switches but it’s so unnecessary. I’m trying to match the existing switches in my house and they don’t have anything on the front. Disappointed.

Looks and feels right. Installing was simple and hassle free.

The issue with these switches is that after so many offs an ons, the switch pivot points break causing the switch paddle to protrude out of the switch frame. Then replacement is required.

It looks so much better than the old switch. It was an easy installation.

Loved everything about the switches except the branding. Makes them look cheap! Color and size are great when paired with a midsize plate cover. We installed all Leviton outlets then moved on to the switches when I noticed the branding. Really bummed about it since everything else about them is great. Ended up going with switches (not as nice in color or size) from the other large home improvement store because the branding is a deal breaker for me. Will be returning.

These switches work perfectly fine however they have the Leviton logo at the bottom and that was the reason I didn’t buy lutron. Also, they’re slightly off white and do not match their own leviton screwless faceplate cover which is whiter. At first I tried the white lutron cover because it had the double sides and that was so different I couldn’t stand it and switched to the brand and it’s still not good. Pictured are both white leviton products. I would have returned if they weren’t installed.

Probably what I like most about these particular switches is the way they connect. There is a clamp under each screw that grips the wire without having to form a hook which can come loose during tightening. The back also has the insert holes for wire, but I seldom use it because there may be more than one wire going to each of the hot & neutral connections and anything larger than 18- or 20-gauge wire doesn't fit without a lot of effort. Additionally, you cannot connect stranded wire into the holes at the back successfully. Aside from the obvious more modern look, they work reliably and are silent in operation. They are also small in the back, so they fit into the J-box easily.

In some, the switch part material is a bit out of line. some of the once i got do not align perfect with the casing

They have a decent feel to the switch, but it was irritating to see that the company puts its name on the bottom visible part of the switch. It's not easy to see in the picture unless you zoom in. Why would I want a company's name on my individual home features?

Really nice upgrade to old switches

I replaced all my remaining non-automated, toggle-style switches with these inexpensive rocker-style from Leviton. That includes single pole, 3-way and one 4-way. All feature the same side screws that permit hooked or straight wiring to the screws. The straight option is great when there are two wires going to one screw for any reason. I don't use push-type connections although they are available. I just don't think there is enough metal-to-metal contact for good conductance. All these switches make a slight click when operated but nothing offensive in my opinion. You save a great deal by not going for the ultra-silent switches. The only question I have in my mind is why the ground wire is at the top of the switch when the Leviton logo is on the bottom and the switch is properly oriented for on/off operation. Traditionally, that screw is at the bottom from past experience. It is merely a matter of curiosity on my part not that it makes any difference electrically. Leviton duplex outlets do have the ground screw on the bottom when the ground is facing down. I wonder if Leviton has the line-terminal-up & load-terminal-down practice with this orientation in mind. Would like to see a Leviton person comment.

Recently decided to change out all of the old style plugs and switches for Decora style and love the updated look. These are SUPER easy to install, especially using the quick wire push-in option, but there are plenty of videos online for guidance. Paired these with the screwless, snap-on wall plates to complete the sleek look.

Great purchase and help on dimmable switch!

These Leviton Decora quiet light switches install super easy, especially if it's an even swap, and they're extra quiet when it comes to flipping them on and off.

Long lasting. Very sturdy and cheap. Instead of cleaning older switches, replacing make the switches brand new for just under 2 bucks

I installed about 30 of these in my home three years ago and had to replace 10 this year because the plastic frame around the switch started cracking. I called Leviton and Leviton would not stand good for them. In fact, Leviton was very rude to me and blamed the problem on cleaning procedures. Therefore, I returned all ten to Home Depot. Please stay away from Leviton switches until they correct the manufacturing defect.

Good quality nice style.

I should have read the reviews first, but why would I since I installed like 40 of these a couple years ago.. Most-used switches (bathroom lights) were starting to go, so I bought 2 of the $7 Leviton switches 'cause hey, I make decent money these days, let's splurge on some 'better' switches! (I notice now, those don't have the logo) Those were junk. :( Both felt spongy, one made arcing sounds occasionally as it didn't fully 'snap' on or off.. Ok, so let's go back to the $2 switches, they last 5 years; can replace them 3x for the same cost (minus time). Just finished installing them (in the dark bathroom..) only to discover they added the raised logo on the front of the switch! So they don't match any of the other switches in the house, and my kids' grubby hands are going to leave dirt in the tiny letters.. Awesome. Now to replace them for the 3rd time, if I can find new old stock of the original Leviton switches, or another brand that looks close enough. 5 minute fix is now in the 5 hour category.. Thanks Leviton! 2 stars, 'cause yeah, they do actually turn the lights on and off and don't arc. Time go go dig through the stock in the store and hope for the best. Also typed this up on mobile first, but 'error occurred', typed up on PC with Firefox but "Device FP is a mandatory attribute" error, so trying Chrome for the 3rd attempt.. It's like they don't want you to leave a bad review...

These switches are by far the cheapest junk I have ever purchased in any category I can think of. Within a few days of installation, both switches showed cracking in the outer plastic where the switch itself mounts, causing the switch paddles on both to fall off with a complete switch failure. Two seperate switches did this. While replacing them with MUCH higher quality GE switches in the same design (same price), I also noticed that the main rear body of one switch was cracking on the back near a connection point. Again, BY FAR, the worst quality I have ever seen. Stay clear of these..

I like the smooth look of the screwless switch cover over this standard rocker switch. This was a very easy replacement of a standard single pole switch. There is a small click turning the switch on and off so it is not silent but it is quiet. If you are replacing a standard size switch cover, you shouldn't have the paint chips that I did because I replaced a larger size decorative cover.

Leviton (decora) rocker light switch. This was very easy to install. Turn off your power and disconnect your old switch. My home was built in the 1950's with old noisy switches. The old switch did not have a ground wire, but good heavy cooper wiring. Connected the new switch with the wiring as directed in the directions (less the ground wire). Remounted the switch. Turned the breaker back on and it worked.

Gives an updated look and are easier to turn on because you just push lightly instead of pull up. We painted our crown moulding white and installing all white Decora plates and switches makes everything looks fresh and crisp. Made a huge difference in the room. The 10-pack was economical.

Great product, easy to install. These are a great replacement for the standard white switch. I like that they have this color, as it works great as an accent for a white room with a gray accent wall. I wish that they would not emboss the name Leviton on the surface of the switch itself. I have install a similar white one that seems to collect smudges and dirt on the embossed name.

A very nice upgrade easily installed

Before purchasing and starting the install, make sure to understand your home's 3-way switch architecture. How the wires are set up will have an impact on which wires are connected to the common and traveler terminals. Having purchased my house with the three-way switches already in place, it took a large chunk of the effort and time to figure out and verify the wiring architecture for my system, especially by opening up the other switch to verify which wires were the travelers versus the ones going to the lights. Once I verified the wiring architecture, the install probably took approximately 30-40 minutes (2 switches: Leviton rocker switches with and without dimmer), primarily to install and repack the stiff wires neatly. DON'T FORGET TO SHUT OFF THE BREAKER FOR THE SWITCH; THIS IS A FATAL SAFETY PREVENTATIVE! Once installed, the products worked well. The switch without the dimmer is an easy on/off with a solid click to ensure it is firmly in the on or off position. The switch with the dimmer worked just the same with the added benefit of a vertically sliding dimmer on the right hand side, which worked great. In addition, I received the matching switch plate coverings, which look very crisp and modern. However, my setup includes 3 switches including a variable fan switch so I couldn't install the switch plates. I have ordered the right part from Leviton so I expect it will look great when it arrives. One caveat I have with this specific model is that the gray doesn't match perfectly with my family room. It doesn't look bad but I would recommend planning out your color coordination to make sure you get the right color switch.

This is a great light switch, I love these push button ones as opposed to the flip switch, much easier to turn on and off. The directions are on the inside of the box for some reason? I don't know if they were trying to save money or paper but it was a good thing I read the outside of the box before opening it. I had just torn it open I would have been out of luck for directions. Then not only was the print very small, it also was in a light blue instead of black, so it made it really hard to read. So just be aware of this in case you're a DIY and need these instructions.Once I figured out which was for the black and which was for the white I was good to go. Screwed back in and ready to work. I knocked off a star for lack of good instructions, but the quality is 5 star!
