Good, strong hinges I like these hinges and am using them for the lid portion of a custom breakfast banquette. They are very stiff when you are holding them but when attached to the banquette they are very smooth and move easily. They handle the weight of the solid, 4/4 white oak lid well and easily hold it in an upright position without falling. I like the screw slots because they allow you to attach the hinge and then fine tune the location. After being positioned where you need them you can put the other screws into the round holes, securing the hinge in place. The directions were ok and on par with other hinges. I'm not sure if these have a load rating, but I have four attached to the lid which is 16"x72" and weighs a good bit. You can mount these in a couple of different ways which is a nice option. In order to clear the window the banquette is going under, I built a box so that the hinges sit 3" away from the back. the screws are coarse thread and seem to hold well. I am quite happy with these and will use them in the future for similar projects

Took some thought to figure out correct assembly procedure but once we understood how to install the hinges it was easy and our cabinet doors look great and the hinges work well.

A great hinge that can hold a lot of weight. Is great for a nice cabinet if you want to hide your hinge. Really easy to install and would buy again!

Hinges work well. Some seem to be a little smoother than others. I purchased these to hide the hinges on my kitchen cabinets until we can redo our kitchen. Overall they are fine.

I used them on a cabinet i made that has 2 doors that are 28x8. I used 2 hinges per door. These hinges are very sloppy. Dont waste your money on these junk hinges!

I read in other reviews these hinges "sag" and that there was no way to adjust for that. I would call this "sag", slop. Yes there is some slop in the hinge mechanisms parts. However if one understands how to install these it CAN BE corrected at installation time. Per the included instructions you start mounting by using the 2 slotted holes. The slotted holes allow you to align the door as needed and it will overcome any slop or "sag". Once that step is completed you can fully tighten the slot screws and install the remaining screw in the round holes. To me the hinges are fine at this price point. I would not pay much more for them however. In addition the supplied screws are the wrong type. They are counter sunk heads and they should be pan or round heads. However the screws are useable as is. Overall at this price I think these hinges will work out fine on my cabinet project. Hard to find any other self closing hinges near this price point. LB

These were purchased because after searching for ones that work with my 50's cabinets (has a lip on edge of doors) I wasn't about to spend $30 per pair on the ones I wanted. These were a fair price but they open kinda clunky and the four screws have to go into an interior flat wall. I have and edge on mine so only 2 screws could be used to mount until I added small wood blocks inside. They should've design the mounting screw holes vertically or something.Not the best hinges.

In refurbishing existing 30 year old high quality kitchen cabinets I wanted to replace existing exterior/side mount hinges with concealed/interior hinges, These hinges work well for this application. The only weakness found was the mounting screws supplied which broke too easily when screwing into the oak cabinets and doors.

Installed 1 pair of these on a small cabinet door in my garage. The installation was simple. The hardware (screws) were of very low quality. One head broke off with ease and the others were so "soft" that they almost rounded off. After installation & adjustment, the small cabinet door still had close to a 1/4" of sag. I found a large amount of "play" in the hing mechanism that would not allow this door hinge to ever really work as expected. I may decide to replace and fill the screw holes.

I made some bathroom cabinets, I liked not being able to see the hinges/ that they we're hidden on the outside. I liked how sturdy they we're, I had large doors and only had to use 2 per door. I made templates out of cardboard from the paper templates that came with the hinges that worked very well, although I did have to do some adjusting to get the doors perfect, that is why only 4 stars. I will use these again!
