Do Not Buy This Flooring
We did a lot of research and choose to go with Lifeproof Waterproof Engineered Hardwood Flooring because of their description. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD "... great choice for areas of high-traffic due to the hardness of the wood..." Not a hardwood. Very soft and scratches often from anything. Not for high-traffic or any traffic for that matter. Manufacturer claiming installation faults for not covering the warranty. Installation has nothing to do with a faulty product that scratches so easily.

    Beautiful and timeless
I picked it up myself so there was no delivery. This floor is beautiful and has been in about a year and is holding up well. I soaked a sample in water for days before buying it and noticed no degredation. The only thing I can fault it for is the finish is a little dull and dust seems to cling to it. I used a cleaner on it that adds a little gloss and that seems to be helping. There are no repeats and it has such lovely variation. The advantage of real wood.

      White Oak 7 Lookalike
We have 7 inch solid wood white oak floors in a matte natural finish throughout our entire home. We recently finished our all season sunroom and wanted something that matched closely. For this project we selected the Shenandoah Lifeproof floor and it is a near dupe for our Bona matte finished White Oak floors. The average person would not know the difference and we love the waterproof durability in that space. Highly recommend.

Arctic Gates - Great Product for Basement Makeover
We used the Arctic Gates for our basement makeover. The product is genius - the ease of LVT with the beauty of hardwood. We were really happy with the quality and the ease of installation. Very DIY friendly. The only downside was a few of the single boxes that were delivered to our house had crumpled corners. We weren't able to use those pieces unfortunately but we had enough that it didn't matter. I recommend buying from the in store stock or purchasing a whole pallet and returning leftovers.

So many knots, not like online pics
I loved this flooring in the store, yet once installed, there were so many imperfections and knots which look unrealistic. The knots in full light appear grey, as if someone painted them or smeared clay in the center. The advertised pics show mostly knot free- which is certainly not the case unfortunately.

            Very nice flooring
Have had this flooring in our living room for a few months, so far we are very happy with it, seems to be durable and have received many compliments on the look. Only slight negative I would say is some of the pieces look very fake, like weird wood grain attempt but for the most part this wasn’t a problem and I just put those pieces where our furniture would be, also keep an eye out for small chips on the corners and put those somewhere out of the main routes.

              Beautiful and durable
I was skeptical, as we were installing in our master bath, but it could not be more beautiful. The varying size planks, the rich depth of color and how well it stands up to daily water makes this the best choice we could have made for our master. It smelled a bit odd for a couple of weeks after install but ultimately settled in and no more odor!

WARNING: Vinyl plank with wood veneer
I was very disappointed when my Lifeproof "engineered hardwood" samples came in. The core is vinyl! This is an VLP with a thin piece of wood on top. When I tried to find more information about Lifeproof's materials and sourcing, I found none. No info on if this wood came from sustainably managed forests or clear cuts. No info on the chemicals in the vinyl. I won't buy from any company that tries to bait and switch like this.

I had the arctic gates color installed. It is beautiful and I have gotten a ton of compliments. It is a light floor without yellow hues - so gorgeous. Has also been holding up really well to use and so easy to clean - even things that have stained cloth have come easily off the floor! Highly recommend.

                      Well made
I’m a huge DIY’er and decided to go with lifeproof shanahdoah oak. I love that it’s well made and sturdy. First row a bit challenging to install but was a breeze putting the rest… It comes in 4 different sizes and I really recommend opening up a few boxes to find those sizes.… I learned that when half way through completing a room(bummer) I use a jigsaw to cut them and it does perfectly fine.highly recommend it…

                        Disappointing
Teton hickory. It is not as shown on the website. We chose it for the beautiful wood grain, knots and varying colors. The ones we received were almost entirely the same color and shade with no distinct wood grain and almost no knots. The pieces are brittle. After installing we noticed a crack in one of the pieces. Some pieces are slightly wider than others causing larger seams in some spots which makes me question just how waterproof this flooring will be.

                          Overpriced
I've installed a couple of different kinds of plank flooring over the years, Mohawk, EZ Click mostly. I've also used Home Depot's cheaper stuff that's usually $1 a sqft. I would not call this an "engineered" hardwood flooring. It is basically a cheap composite plank with a wood veneer over the top. Also, the locking system is horrible. Basically, the ends just lay on top of each other. It looks nice but feels like cheap plastic under your feet. If you have an eye for detail, don't buy this.

                            Love it!
I got Shenandoah oak. I love my new floors. It is just what I needed with kids and dogs. It is waterproof and tough. My husband installed it. But we do have quite a bit of experience with remodeling. This is the best flooring we’ve ever used.

Great looking floor but with caution in installation
The floor is beautiful and the material is solid. However, I do have three issues: 1) the 6 ft plank's corner is oftenly chipped. I belived due to the heaviness of the box, people tends to drop them or move them with corner of the box dropped, therefore causing more chipped planks then it should. 2) the connecting side of the 7.5" is very hard to make it flush with the connecting piece, at least for DIY home owners. It can be be more flush, if the floor is installed with perfection, meaning it has to be perfectly tabed and fitted every step of the installation. 3) Too many dark brown planks as most of the color are lighter to medium oak color.

                              Beautiful
First time installing flooring. I like how easy it was with locking install and floating floor. There is an underlayment included with the planks. It feels solid the core is made of some plastic mix with real hardwood on top. Each plank is unique since it's real hardwood. You do have to make sure your sub floor is level before installing otherwise you'll have problems. The floor is beautiful and I love the wood grains and color variety. Time will tell how it holds up.

I loved this flooring especially since it said 100% water proof. Unfortunately, it is not. Water was on it and left a stain. Do not buy if you expect them to get wet.

I made a mistake and thought I was buying Luxury Vinyl flooring…A happy mistake. This is so much more beautiful. Every plank is different. No repeating patterns. Real wood! My husband installed it in an enclosed porch…guess we’ll see how it holds up to temp changes. This color is very light, but that’s what I wanted

We had a handyman install this floor (Shenandoah Oak) a few weeks ago throughout our entire house (sans bathrooms) and are LOVING it. We were between this floor and Malibu Wide Plank and ended up saving $2000-$3000 going with this one and couldn't be happier with our choice! The ease of installation paired with the look and feel of real wood made this floor perfect for our needs. Plus there was little to no floor wasted with the varying lengths that come in the box. We ended up returning our 10% extra (as it wasn't needed)! Would highly recommend this floor for it's value as a great option for engineered hardwood (so glad we didn't go with a vinyl or laminate!)

This flooring is beautiful! We put the color Arctic Gates in our entire home. I have 350 square feet waiting for the addition that will happen in the near future. My husband and I have never laid flooring of any type before. We got half way through one room and I new I had picked the perfect color and product. It is not yellow or gray. It took a bit to get into the groove of how it clicks together but we got there in no time. I did buy the box of tools that are needed for this job. I found that the tapping block was hard to keep from jumping around and messing up the side. My husband found and shared several videos from YouTube and we learned that a small piece of the flooring worked better. I ordered countless numbers of boxes(not just samples) to find what I was looking for. Looking at the entire box laid out in your space is the best way to chose color. However, when it was time to order it was out of stock. I kept looking and checking to see if it was back in stock and eventually my patience paid off. I was able to get all I needed and then had some to return. I loved having the varied lengths to keep it looking organic. We worked from one or two boxes at a time rather than three or four like some flooring recommends. It really seems to be a wonderful product. We have only been living in it for one week. Time will tell but I am very happy with my selection at this point!

The color doesnt match with the picture
                                          1. I wish they have more color choice. It took me forever to choose the color because I have oak trim and cherry wood at home. 2. The color in the picture of website is not correct. I bought some samples. The color I wanted is not on the stock. so I ended up with Tenton hickory, the color of every piece is different so much. As my picture below. Some planks are too dark.

                                            Way too soft
After one week of use, in a home office and master bedroom, not super high traffic, there are large dents and a chunk missing. This is essentially a very thin piece of hardwood 1/8” or less over plastic. I have NO IDEA what could have made this mark, since we truly don’t have anything heavy and never drag anything in this area. Maybe a child’s toy dropping- I don’t even wear heels. So so disappointing. Go with laminate, so much more resistant than this. When we were installing some of the boards were splitting during install from hammering them together (using mallet and tool instructions state to use). Not dent proof. Not family proof. Do not recommend.

We covered an entire 1 bedroom flat in Blanca Peak Oak 7 mm T x 6.5 in. W x Varying Length Engineered Click Waterproof Hardwood Flooring and it is gorgeous. The only reason it didn't receive full marks from me is that it was a couple of shades darker than the photos. However it looks quite luxurious and doesn't have the streakiness or stripes that you see in some other flooring. I did have to search long and hard to find a product that didn't have that patched look of very dark boards and light boards. This product is uniform and looks high end look since it doesn't have that plastic sheen you sometimes see. It is an engineered hardwood and looks real as it should. Easy as LEGO to work with.
