I own three of thes sheds and am very pleased, till now. I walked in my 10 year old shed after a rain storm and found water on my bench. A vintage radio I was repairing was saturated with water, the wood case delaminating. I looked up and saw a cracked sky light along the seam. Checking further, I discovered all 6 ski lites were split on the full length of the joint on the side that gets more sunlight.

The flooring did not allow for proper door placement and despite my attempts to remove parts and again and again . I ended up having to sacrifice the the door locks. No matter how many YouTube videos I watched, there was no mention of floor placement in any and or instructions. Simply the doors would not close at all. I had to shim the doors and floors to even get them to close at all.

I would give the shed itself five stars for durability however I can’t seem to get any help with buying any accessories to hang things such as rakes and shovels. I sent an email to Lifetime and I was given an incorrect answer and then no one replied back after. No one ever seems to answer the phone there either.Also, there is no way to lock it so I ended up buying two different locks one a slide lock and the other a padlock. Both very inconvenient. I have all the hardware but if you notice on the video when the man puts the door together he does not show you anyway to get the hook of the right inside handle over anything that it was attached to to keep the door from opening. No one at Home Depot has any information because it’s an online order and lifetime has not been able to help me either.

Very well made and stylish for a shed. Followed the directions in the booklet with the help of on-line videos. Only 2 screws have no home. The diagram in the manual just isn't clear enough for those two. We're hoping they aren't too critical! But just love the look, the size and the quality. Hope to have it for years to come! It looks just like the picture, too.

This is a very nice shed that went together without any stress or hammering to get the pieces to fit. Having the door in the center keeps me from having to climb over things to get to the back. I installed 2 wire shelving units from a big box store and with the built in shelves, I am quite happy. I highly recommend using the app for installation; I installed it on my tablet and let it talk me through construction. Taking the time to get a good base under this is key!

I poured a 4” thick concrete slab for the shed to sit on. I then anchored it after assembly with 3/8” x2” anchor bolts in each corner. Assembly took me two full days, you need a helper particularly on the roof parts. If you assemble the truss sections first you could probably assemble the entire thing in one full day. Make sure you follow the instruction manual. There are also some good YouTube videos if you get stuck. If you follow the manual and don’t jump ahead you shouldn’t encounter any problems. I give the instruction manual a C grade, black and white photos would be much more helpful than their diagrams, some don’t look anything like the actual pieces going together, but after a few head scratching sessions I was able to work through any problems. If you are putting a riding mower in it make sure you measure the door with vs. your mower deck, mine barely fits through the doors. The shed looks great and is water tight. It seems very durable and not flimsy. Time will tell if it holds up but pleased so far.

Thought id be overwhelmed so i put aside two weeks to do it. Well it literally took me 2 days all by myself zero help to put it up. Two minor issues that i have to call about re parts but otherwise it is perfect The instructions suck but if you have watched the you tube post and then incorporate that advice into your assembly work you are good

Installation instructions were somewhat confusing. Some hardware was missing. My advise for anyone reading this would be build the trusses first. Overall I am very pleased with this shed. It is very sturdy when complete. Took a friend and I about 8 hrs to build.

Almost everything went together perfect the only problem I had was installing the window shutters the hole locations were not marked. Everything else was perfect.

Large. Nice looking. The only thing that takes a star away is the installation/construction. It's a massive undertaking. Relatively straightforward in its instructions, made easier by the inclusion of links to videos, but still tedious and a bit overwhelming. Hard to install against a wall as some steps require you to push parts in place from the back of the unit. Be willing to jury-rig a little. I had to use a metal bracket to hold parts together that would have snapped in if I could have pushed from behind. I also had to install little handles inside the back roof panels to pull on because I couldn't push the panels down from behind. I also had to sink some screws into the front decorative shutters because the prepositioned holed did not match.

ONLY THING IS THE INSTRUTION SHOULD BE EASYER FOR THIS PRODUCT.

Great shed..Added bonus, it shipped 4 days ahead of schedule. Do make sure you follow the instructions, if you get ahead of yourself thinking "I got this," chances are you will have to take it back apart and re-build it to plan. I put this up by myself in one day, would have made it a bit easier with another set of hands..but i didn't want to bother anyone. Skylights allow a nice amount of light inside. Well worth the money for this one!

Relatively easy to assemble. It helps to have 2 people for some steps, but possible to do it by yourself. My only real complaint is the screws can strip easy if using an electric drill - even on a very low torque setting; that could have been engineered better. But over all very happy with the product. It has lots of storage room and easy access with the two doors.

I thought the walls would be a little thicker then they are, but all in all it seems like a good product. Be mindful; much of the installation can be done by one person, but when you get to the steps involving the door installation, you need at least 2 people, at least one to hold and steady the doors and one to install the threshold arch that holds the doors in place. You also need someone to steady the support structures as you install the roof. I would like to see a thicker floor also as the panels are thin and after interlocking held in place by 2 screws at each joint (3 joints per pair) that protrude above the floor surface.

Some of the directions are not cleared and very confusing. Even the videos didnt help much. Once you screw in the the big screws without the metal attached, the holes will be loose when you unscrew the screws due to the confusion. Took the whole weekend to complete the shed. Did very carefully with the balance leveler with my partner. Got everything done, but the doors are not even. It's hard to close the left door facing the shed. I have to used my strength to lift the top ceiling so I can closed the left door. And its freaking hard!!! Homedepot guys, can you please come take a look without charging? Please come and inspect. What am I doing wrong? Do i need new doors?

I bought this few months ago and I like it. It looks fabulous in my backyard, however the instruction was a pain in my butt. Other than that I am very pleased with the end result. It took us a week to put it together but we did it.

This is a fantastic shed. It was easy to assemble. The instructions were in depth and accurate. I live in a snow climate so we'll see how it lasts next winter. Information in the instruction manual says to sweep the roof off when 6 inches of snow accumulates. I haven't purchased the snow load package because it will probably be fairly simple to sweep the roof every six inches of snow. Took me two partial days to assemble mostly on my own. There were places where I needed a second set of hands because it was windy when I put it up but for the most part it was a simple assembly.

This shed could not handle the snow load from this past winter in northern Minnesota!

Great shed and easy to assemble. Plenty of room and so far no leaks. Level ground is a must.

I just put this together a couple of weeks ago. So far, so good. Putting it together was not too hard. I did it by myself in two days, and I'm a heart patient. Follow the instructions and you'll have no issues. Excellent product.

It is a nice shed and I'm happy about buying and building it. It did turn out nice. The only issues that I feel should be improved in the flowchart and information with the instructional manual. If I didn't have as much experience as I do things would have not turned out the way expected upon purchase of the shed.. As far as durability. The only real weakness is the doors and assembly. It is definitely a much weaker section of the build....

Shed seems quite secure. A little disappointed that most of the panels had damage from shipppng. All on the same side pretty much every piece. We will see after first winter how it holds up. Some of the screws stripped out. A little concerned on how the screws in plastic will hold up.

First I built an 8x16 wooden platform with 2x6 and 1/2 inch plywood. It took me 2 days and only used a helping hand for about 2 hours. It is our third lifetime shed and this one is the largest. It is well build with quality engeeneering and components. The delivery was made by a contractor with an elongated van with no lifting equipment, it was unloaded on the front lawn and I had to open all boxes and manually carry them 100 feet away; it should have been delivered by truck with a forklift. We are regular customers of Home Depot and will continue doing business with them.

We purchased our new lifetime shed April 30th 2018. This is an awesome product. what I will tell you is to pay attention to the manual when you're assembling it. they put a lot of work into making it as easy as possible. Where a lot of people fail is they do not read the instructions. Everything is labeled for he's of assembly, not for shipping. Everything has a purpose and labeling was the most important thing they could have done to make the shed assembly as simple as possible and at the same time durable beautiful to the eyes and beautiful to the landscape on my property. Thank you lifetime 4 introducing us to a wonderful product and we look forward to purchasing more items in the near future

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased two 8foot by 15foot Lifetime sheds in the past ten years. I built my first one on a property I bought in 2008 and it did a great job for me and increased the value of my home when I sold it to move into a smaller newer home. I built another one in our backyard of House #2 and it has served me well. People say it looks like a kids playhouse but it holds all my tools and lawn equipment with space to spare. Well I just sold this second house to move to Florida for retirement. The new owners said the shed was the difference for them in purchasing our house for full price versus a similar floor plan down the street for less money. I will order a third shed for my new one acre property in Florida to store all my yard equipment in. I will likely add the weather kit to this one since we are close to the Gulf Coast and hurricane force winds are inevitable. The shed is easy to install with a helper and withstands the elements like a champ!

My wife and I put this shed together in one weekend without any issues. You must read carefully and some of the installation diagrams are a bit confusing, but it all works out during the installation. We are very impressed with the finished shed. It is more than we expected for the price. Our neighbours all came over to have a look and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more Lifetime Sheds in the near future. It’s nice to find a good product for a fair price these days!

I purchased and installed this shed 2 years ago, and it works great for holding pool supplies and yard supplies. I installed it on a wood base and put in a ramp to enter. My family loves it, and it holds up great through the cold and icy New England winters!

GREAT SHED with tons of room and very nice appearance. After reading numerous reviews, I was a bit concerned about assembling this shed. There were many comments about screw holes not lining up, screw holes stripping, too many pieces, hundreds of screws, etc. After buying and assembling this shed in less than two days, with some assist from my wife where two people are needed, I have to say a few things: 1) This is a GREAT shed. The metal trusses for roof support add a lot of stability and structural support. The instructions were quite good but you need to really pay attention, make sure you understand what they are directing you to do and most of all FOLLOW ALL STEPS IN ORDER, EXACTLY AS WRITTEN. Any problems I encountered with my assembly were a result of me not reading and following the instructions closely enough. 2) It's imperative that you NOT use any kind of power tool to drive the screws for assembly. True, there are probably between 300 - 400 screws but plastic is a finicky material to put together with steel screws. It takes a delicate touch that you can't achieve with a power tool. Get a ratcheting screw driver and don't try to tighten the screws more than firmly snug or they will strip. That's just the nature of these materials. 3) There are a lot of pieces but the Lifetime engineers have designed the shed to be put together by anyone with basic knowledge of hand tools and the ability to follow instructions. The hundreds of screws, when all installed correctly, make a very stable and strong structure that should hold up under any but the worst weather conditions. 4) When the instructions say that the platform you put the shed on needs to be level and flat, they mean exactly that. If the platform isn't nearly dead flat you will run into the problem of screw holes not lining up which will only get worse the further you advance in construction. I'd gladly buy another Lifetime product mainly for the quality of materials, ease of construction and appearance.
